Reviews for Inter Hotel Hostellerie de l'Europe
Review 1:The painted tiles in the bathroom. This was not the standard of the rest on the hotel The bathrooms require updating .
Review 2:The staff were extreamly friendly and helpful
Review 3:Very dark room with window looking out onto next door building. Needed to pull curtains for privacy. Shower difficult to adjust. Toilet cistern tap had to be turned off between use. Hotel corridors were shabby and carpets smelt musty.
Review 4:Close to train station. Clean bed linen
Review 5:The hotel needs to be re decorated, especially in the bathroom, where the tiles have been painted orange and are chipped. The website advertises a pool but there is not one, which was a big disappointment as the weather was so hot. There is no garden or sitting out area. Generally looks shabby.
Review 6:The hotel is in a good location within walking distance of the old town restaurants and shops.
Review 7:Lukewarm welcome, poor/outdated fit out, a complete disappointment.
Review 8:A very disappointing choice. Upon our arrival, I did not like the look of this hotel, but as we were tired, my husband convinced me to tolerate it. Big mistake!! I felt totally uncomfortable, particularly when a hotel employee opened our room door, without knocking, when we were resing in bed. The bed was clean, that is its only saving grace. This is my first poor review as I'm usually a very tolerant person & I don't feel good at all writing it. I couldn't wait to leave...
Review 9:The room was no less than filthy, and didn't look at all like the pictures. I am not usually that picky about hotels, but when you just don't feel like removing your shoes because the carpet looks like it hasn't been vacuumed in years, well, you go wonder. Also... what is the idea behind the bright orange bathroom? Trying to hide the mold in the corners? Never again, we will go back there! On top of that, the girl at reception knew nothing about the city, and add no map to hand out.
Review 10:Absolutely nothing.
Review 11:Breakfast : coffee, kept warm in a thermos flask, was undrinkable; a machine would allow guests to make their own coffee on demand. Water I boiled to make tea (from tea-bags provided) seemed to have been affected by deposit inside the electric kettle, and was unpalatable.
Review 12:bedrooms to the rear of the hotel are wonderfully quiet, and the air-conditioning is efficient. There is ample parking, free of charge, on the (admittedly) public (and therefore unsecured) car-park behind the hotel. Staff are friendly.
Review 13:No lift I was on the second floor and had to cart up my luggage, no airconditioning and it was quite hot!!.
Review 14:Good welcome, comfortable pleasant room, friendly helpful staff.
Review 15:No shower curtain so water all over floor and toilet roll
Review 16:Location and friendly staff
Review 17:Quiet but an uninteresting view of other buildings
Review 18:Friendly, smiling staff
Review 19:Spiders on walls Roten in bathroom Poor breakfast
