Reviews for Alp'azur
Review 1:Great Location. The Telecentre just across the street, which can lift you up to Grande Rousse or down to Tourism information center. Friendly and helpful staff and owner.
Review 2:No lift, had to carry our bags up to our room. There is no staff most of the time, you have to use a key code to get back in at night.
Review 3:We had a lovely room with a balcony at the front of the hotel. The furniture and décor may not be everybody's cup of tea but exactly what you'd expect from a ski chalet. We were there in summer and managed to park right outside the front of the hotel. The breakfast was basic but good.
Review 4:The room was very small and boxy
Review 5:The staff were friendly, helpful (we checked in at 2am) and the owner was really nice. Breakfast was simple but high quality foods and the croissants were amazing.....
Review 6:It was slightly expensive for what we got, basic room, facilities and breakfast. I expect we paid the premium for the location. Man on reception had hardly any English but the lady in breakfast was more friendly and welcoming.
Review 7:Loved the location of the hotel. Basic room and facilities but clean and warm.
Review 8:Everything is within easy walking distance: swimmingpool, ice skating, restaurants and last but not least the ski lift around the corner. Very friendly staff.
Review 9:Hotel Manager Patrick and his team were very accomodating and dealt with all of our requests. Perfect location you could literally Ski in to the hotel, and also a stone throw away from the main ski lifts.
Review 10:No bath, tv didn't work but owner swiftly changed it for us. Lighting poor! Rooms advertised to be soundproofed, ours was above the kitchen & the noise was continuous from 6.30 am onwards.
Review 11:Location & wifi
Review 12:Patrick the owner is extremely helpful and pleasant. Hotel and rooms always clean. Good breakfast. Fantastic central location with bucket lift directly across the road.
Review 13:Weird pillows ( minor I know) , could have more choice at breakfast - maybe fruit, toast, muesli etc..
Review 14:Location was great - ski in ski out, very close to town, economy room more than adequate, parking outside. Overall a decent hotel at a decent price, would recommend.
Review 15:Price is not great for a lone traveller, but would be very competitive for a couple.
Review 16:Free wi-fi and breakfast are great. Staff is very friendly. Location within the resort couldn't be much better.
Review 17:Nothing!
Review 18:Location was brilliant, Patrick is lovely, as is Irene, if you're like me and enjoy a cuppa in bed first thing there wasn't a kettle in the room, but I could've got water in the bar - we were delighted with our choice of hotel.
Review 19:We stayed here for 4 nights. The location is great, very short walk to the lift up to slopes, close to swimming pool and plenty of restaurants. Breakfast was good and we were always welcome to collect a pot of hot water to make tea in our room. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. No complaints.
Review 20:Close to lift access. Friendly staff. Great fresh breakfast every morning. Great open rooms with unreal view. Thanks to Alp'azur for a great comfortable and affordable stay. Recommend to all looking for a place to stay in alpe Dhuez.
Review 21:No wellness (not even sauna) - at 210EUR price tag I would expect some wellness facilities Limited offer for breakfast (no meat nor ham)
Review 22:Attentive staff including owner Fast WiFi connection Close distance (50m) to lift which will transfer you to ski slopes
Review 23:Well due to us being on the top floor an elevator would have been nice.

Review 26:Good location for cycling holiday Friendly Staff Good views from balcony Good value Quiet
Review 27:Breakfast (in room rate) was satisfactory although selection could be improved. Small issue - shower rose could only be used hand held.
Review 28:Location was good for summer and winter sports. Great views from room, place to leave road bike and a helpful manager.
Review 29:No lift in a steep location with quite an effort to haul luggage to the first floor. Hand held shower over bath only.
Review 30:Room finished in "alpine style" with modernised bathroom. Visited in summer and had a location to park proximal to the hotel. We bought our own road bikes and had a safe location for storage. A sufficient breakfast, continental style was inclusive in the room rate. Good location next to ski lift, restaurants and the alp d'huez climb. Staff helpful for resto recommendations and tips to get the best from the location.
Review 31:Nothing to dislike.
Review 32:The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful and made our stay at their wonderful hotel even better. Recommend a stay at this hotel to anyone who enjoys great service and excellent facilities.
Review 33:Nothing
Review 34:We went for the megavalanche race in the summer and the hosts couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. Even though we made quite a mess with mud from the mountain they were happy to accommodate us and make us welcome.
Review 35:Nothing.
Review 36:The view! Breakfast included a real plus in the summer given that most businesses are only open durning ski season. We will defiantly stay here again on our next trip through the alps!
Review 37:Very pretty hotel, great view and a perfect location to set up for the doing the climb. Parking was convenient in mid-June but would probably be unavailable in winter.

Review 67:good if watching alpe d huez during tdf live from the balcony of the hotel ;)
Review 68:Room (8) was a bit cramped, but as it was the last available this is merely an observation! Some years ago it was less fully booked so we've had the larger rooms.
Review 69:The breakfast was excellent. We have been here several times before and it was always the weakest point. Good WiFi which nowadays is important. Very pleasant and friendly new proprietor and staff. It's back at the top of the list for our next visit (we have stayed in 4 other places here over the years)
Review 70:Wished we spoke more (some) French!
Review 71:We loved the location - right in the centre, right beside a ski lift! The view at breakfast was AMAZING, the view at night - stunning, the view by day - breath-taking. The staff were amazingly friendly, very helpful, so accommodating. We can't wait to go back there!

Review 83:Patrick and Irene were fantastic!

Review 92:The location was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfasts on the sunny terrace. The staff were extremely friendly and were always happy to help us.
