Reviews for Le Clos Saint-Vincent
Review 1:Great staff... Feeling like home..with spectacular views over the Rhine valley, Black Forest and even to the Swiss alps. Ribeauville is the cutest wine hamlet.
Review 2:This is a very lovely hotel. It is elevated above Ribeauville and sits among a field of grape vines. The view is absolutely incredible and the facilities are clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this to those looking for a beautiful place to relax and unwind at.
Review 3:The fitness room and pool area could use some help- the pool itself was a wonderful temperature The lobby furniture is mis- matched and dated
Review 4:Absolutely stunning situation for evening dining - wow! The staff are professional, friendly and helpful
Review 5:Not one thing!
Review 6:Just amazing service, friendly staff. We went last year and loved it so much, we returned for another visit. Try the restaurant one night! Delicious! Scenery is breathtaking, views from the room ever-changing. And the new massage chairs were a big hit with my husband and mother! Love this hotel!
Review 7:The wifi requires a password that you need to request from the check-in desk. This is fairly common, but would be nice to have this just provided when you check in.
Review 8:The hotel was very professionally operated with friendly and competent staff. Our room was lovely, spacious, and comfortable with a view over the vineyards, gigantic bathtub, and large balcony. The restaurant serves lovely food, typical of high-end, French-style restaurants. They were very accommodating of our child, making her a simple dish. Wish we could have stayed longer!
Review 9:The food was excellent, but it took two hours for two courses. The wifi was iffy at times, but that was expected, considering our location. The jacuzzi was great, but tepid and only half seemed to be functioning.
Review 10:The view from the vineyards was really great, especially late at night and early morning. The pool was fun, and the sauna was relaxing. The extra towels were great.
Review 11:Its a bit of a walk (more than a kilometer and uphill on the return) into Ribeauville. Didn't bother us but it might some.
Review 12:Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent restaurant featuring a sophisticated take on Alsatian cuisine. Large, well appointed room. Great pool and hot tub.
Review 13:The location could not have been better - in the middle of a vineyard sloping down to the town and centrally located for touring Alsace. The room was comfortable with enough light for reading, the staff were delightlul, the restaurant, in our opinion deserving of a star. Would return,
Review 14:Nothing really other than room was hot and probably a little more signage in the village would have helped find Le Clos St Vincent
Review 15:Most things although I found the rooms very warm at night.
Review 16:Nothing negative!
Review 17:Le Clos St Vincent, just outside Ribeauville, is a family-run hotel (since 40 years) and has all the charm of the Alsace. The rooms with balconies have a spectacular view of the roling vineyards and villages surrounding the hotel. Everything spotlessly clean and staff and reception most friendly! Stay there for dinner too, not expensive and delicious while in their dining/breakfast-room there is also a marvelous view. Great start for hikes in the neighbourhood.
Review 18:we arrived around 3 pm after a long journey by car ! i asked the guy from reception to tell us if the room service is available and i get a positive answer !!! we went in town about 2 km down and up walking ... at 8 we both get in the restaurant looking for a lovely dinner .... the waiter invite us to live the restaurant due to a NOT RESERVE TABLE PRIOR TO OUR ARRIVAL !!!!!! i asked for a later one if at 8 are not availability ... the answer was strange ... YOU CAN GO IN THE MOON FOR DINNER .... HERE IS IMPOSIBILE ;;; I WAS BLOCKED and extremely humiliated by this guy being my wife and other 30 pax ¨^ bouche bee ^^ about him ... i asked to call me in my room when any table will be free ... he said again ¨^ better in the moon MY FRIEND ¨^!!!!!! SO I GIVED UP and i went to bed hungry ,sad and with very bed feelings regarding this location !!! i am romanian diplomat in STRASBOURG and i will tell to all EU AMBASSADORS MY TERRIBLE STORY from LE CLOS SAINT VINCENT... and many others similar actions ....

Review 36:Excellent location, stunning view, great service. Comfortable, spacious rooms very well equipped.
Review 37:My visit was mainly for business, we had to leave early each morning and returned late each evening. But our reception, comfort and view were excellent
Review 38:Pool, but no cardiovascular exercise equipment.
Review 39:Staff & restaurant very helpful & friendly. Nominal corkage for a bottle of good local wine we brought In (5 euros). Great location & views among the vineyards.
Review 40:Restaurant closed Tuesdays but it was just a few minutes drive into town where many good restaurants could be found.
Review 41:Beautiful room with balcony and views over the vineyard. Staff were very attentive and couldn't do enough to help with advice on trips and. Restaurant particularly good with excellent food.
Review 42:Dinner+breakfast more than 200Euro totally, so we cannot go frequently....
Review 43:Nice location to enjoy the view of vineyard, this is the reason why I selected this hotel. Foods were also nice, we could have it at terrace. I thought that we checked in earlier than indication but they welcomed us. Room was comfortable, we should choose the room where you can see the vineyard view.
Review 44:Beautiful location in the vineyards; superb room with private balcony overlooking the vineyards; superb restaurant in the evening; warm and friendly welcome; this is real luxury
Review 45:We were slightly put off by the man working reception. We rang the bellnumerous times and no one appeared. There were obviously people in thekitchen, so my husband entered and asked if we could check in. We weretold they were eating lunch and the room was not ready. We had arrived abit early, true, but it would have been nice if he could have taken afew moments from his lunch to kindly let us know.
Review 46:The bedrooms were very comfortable, walls were fabric, which made for avery quiet room! Location and situation was the most amazing! Thebeautiful views from your private balcony, the privacy of the room andthe quaint dining area will bring us back for sure!
Review 47:very late check-in (4pm). very strange interior: our room was covered by strange wall paper/tissue that is matching the curtains. It was very claustrophobic once closing the curtains.
Review 48:excellent location, very clean
Review 49:A convenient hotel to explore the Alsace region. Excellent service. Room was clean and large! Wonderful views over the vineyards. Don't be put off by the outside look of the hotel as it looks rundown inside is fine. Dinner was very good
Review 50:Absolutely nothing comes to mind!
Review 51:This was our second trip to Clos St Vincent, and we returned because of the great time we had in July. It was actually a spur of the moment decision, due to an open weekend, and no plans. As it turned out, it was a great time to go, and we were fortunate there was a room, as it was the weekend of the Medieval Festival, and we got the only room left, a comfortable family room. We again brought our dogs, and enjoyed walking through the vinyards, now laden with bunches of nearly ripe grapes. Emmanuel and his wife Annette, and the staff were excellent as usual, and we were treated like honored guests...we look forward to our next trip!
Review 52:Very nice location on top of a vineyard carpeted hill overlooking Ribeauville. The facility has all the attributes to spoil the most demanding visitors.Somewhat pricey but worthwhile.
Review 53:we had a lovely room with a terrace overlooking the vineyards - hotel is high above the town, so views are good. Food in hotel also very good, and free parking on site.
Review 54:The breakfast is very good, but, in our opinion, high-priced. Not a goodvalue, but we can't fault the quality.
Review 55:Love the Alsace and all the really cute villages that appear to havestopped in time. Colorful, half-timbered medieval houses often withstork nests on top! Lots to do in the region and this hotel is well-located above Ribeauville and its scenic center. Also close to some nicehiking in the area and biking from village to village. Hotel wasexcellent, with really wonderful food and very accommodating to specialdietary needs. Beautiful presentation and very nice family business. Wewere upgraded to a nicer and bigger suite which was really beautiful andquiet. Everything is spotless and the owners very helpful with all sortsof suggestions (in our case with rainy weather for one morning)
Review 56:This is our third visit to this hotel and we like everything about it. It appears to have had a major refurbishment since our last visit - all rooms now have air con and the indoor swimming pool looks fantastic.
Review 57:Very helpful staff. Exstensive views over vineyards towards the Rhine and Germany. Really nice and quiet hotel. Very helpful staff. Nesting stalks in Ribeauville. Taxi from the town only €8.
