Reviews for La Cantilienne
Review 1:A very welcoming family run establishment with just a few rooms. Our suite was spacious, well furnished and very clean. All facilities were excellent. The location is very quiet, but just one block from the main street in Chantilly. First rate and highly recommended.
Review 2:We spent two nights here with Véronique and Franck while taking part in the Castle Series triathlon at the Chateau de Chantilly and absolutely loved it. A fabulous location meant we could walk to the event and into Chantilly for dinner too (credit card alert: clothing shops lie in wait for unwary husbands!). Use was offered of the garden for relaxation and there was enough parking in the grounds, even for my van. When a fellow British competitor couldn't fit his camper van through the gate, Véronique even offered to phone the neighbour to free up a road space for him; now that's service! Comfy bed, quiet and central location, beautiful weather, perfect hosts, and an excellent breakfast, with fresh bread procured from the local bakery at some ungodly hour due to our enforced early pre-race registration - all good and no bad to report!
Review 3:Close to GDG and a great opportunity to visit the Chateau at Chantilly. We booked here to avoid the traffic out of Paris and are very glad we did. Chantilly is definitely worth a visit.t
Review 4:Excellent location being just behind the high street. The "room" we stayed in was an apartment with a separate living room and a bedroom. The property was very traditional looking and very nice to turn up to. The owner is very friendly and helpful. I would recommend staying here and it is very good value.
Review 5:If you like traditional hospitality then La Cantilienne is the place to stay. We didn't get just a room we had a small apartment! We'll definitely go back again.
Review 6:The price on Booking.com is €10 more than their standard rate
Review 7:We loved how close it was to Charlles de Gaulle How friendly the hosts are How we could keep ourselves awake by walking to the chateau
Review 8:The owners speak very little English, but can't really knock that - you're in France.
Review 9:The property served my requirements. Short stroll to the centre.
Review 10:Furnishings and decor generally was cluttered and in need of an update. Would have preferred to have a TV in the bedroom. Breakfast could have been improved with fresh orange juice.
Review 11:Family were friendly and helpful. Very close to centre of Chantilly.
Review 12:Our hostess was warm and welcoming, our room had everything you could need for an overnight stay. The house was clean and very well located for a short walk to restaurants etc. We had to leave early, before the normal breakfast time, but our hostess got up, laid a delicious breakfast out for us and cooked eggs etc. whilst her husband went out to buy fresh bread. Definitely recommend this lovely house to anyone.
Review 13:There is nothing to not like.
Review 14:The host and his wife could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The room was huge compared to any in the Paris area. Amenities provided were so very thoughtful above and beyond the normal. Close to shops and restaurants and easy morning access to CDG...just 30 minutes.
Review 15:Stairs, stairs, stairs. Not a problem for us except getting our heavy suitcases up and down was not enjoyable. However, stairs are a normal part of gorgeous old houses like this one so unless you have real mobility issues don't worry about it.
Review 16:Ideal location within walking to everything, free parking on site, good strong wifi, spacious well appointed room. Special mention to the very spacious and comfortable toilet and shower in our room. Hostess was a delight and every detail and comfort was provided. Breakfast was excellent. I will definitely stay here again if I visit Chantilly in the future. If you want great value stop looking and book this now!

Review 34:Need to climb stairs to reach the apartment. WiFi passcode extremely long and includes capital letters and numbers. Excellent chance of missing one letter or number, and you've got to start from the beginning.

Sumptuous, delicious breakfasts.Setting is a small town where a famous chateau is located, along withits art museum.
