Review 1：My needs were simple on this trip and this hotel served them well. It has a good location in the centre of town and it was easy to find a parking space outside of business hours. I slept well on clean and crisp linen in a comfortable bed and had a good breakfast before setting off on my further travels.
Review 2：Staff very rude , The room was very smelly and looked very old and nothing like the pictures on the website , toilet very loud when flushed and shower doors did not close as they should , room very small with a double bed cramped in . Walls also very thin , we heard more then 2 couples engaging in intercourse . Paid for breakfast but all we got was one old croissant and a piece of bread ,coffee also very bad . Over all very unhappy with our stay . Will not go back

Review 4：Biggest failure was lack of tea/coffee making facilities in room. Toilet cistern was exceedingly slow to fill. Shower/wc was very run down and needed a complete re-furb.

Stairs need urgent change of Carpets. When toilet flushed above/next us the noise in our room was really loud, never seen that before.

The receptionist did say that they have called the police over the last three years but if staying at weekends and if you are in a room that is close to the first or ground floor, you could be in for a late night.

Review 35：Light bulb in small lamp burned out (staff was very responsive and replaced it). No washcloths!!! NO HEAT!! I turned the handles completely in the opposite direction from where they were on the two radiators (which were cold to start) and nothing happened. The 1st night I was there, I could hear every word said by the couple in the room next door, and they were NOT being loud. The 2nd night I was there, I could hear the person snoring in the room next door – every snore, all night long!

Review 49：Arrived very late, after reception was closed, but received a warm welcome nevertheless. Called for hot water and wifi code after midnight bit still had a gracious response and felt that nothing was too much trouble. Basic decor but excellent bathroom and lovely beds. Breakfast was phenomenal! Stuffed our faces with the loveliest fresh from the bakery bread, pain au chocolate and croissants. Fresh fruits, cheese, ham and plenty of drinks. Would definitely stay here again. Such good value for money.

Review 52：Our daughters room was much better than ours. We were facing the front and it was quite noisy until the early hours, which was not the owners fault. The shower room needed updating, their was no plug in sink but plenty of towels etc. A bit noisy from the room above.

Review 54：The Hotel only has on street parking (which we knew before hand) but it is on a narrow one way street which is further compounded by the major roadworks that are being undertaken on the river front. The Hotel also adjourned a bar which (on a Saturday night) was still pumping music out at 5am along with the customers shouting in the street.
Review 55：The staff were very courteous and helpful suggesting places to eat and see. Nothing flash, as you would expect from a two star hotel, but suitable for a stop whilst passing through (we were on the way back to the UK travelling up from Bordeaux). Breakfast was good.

The rooms and bathroom smelt, had thin walls through which you could hear the lobby and stairwell and other rooms, the Fit was so small it could not hold two people let alone our pushchair which we carried up to our room, no hot water, no door on the shower, no working flush, the street lights could not be obscured as the curtains did not cover the full window.
