Reviews for Le Jardin De Neuilly
Review 1:Great location just off the main boulevard and close to the Metro. One block to Bois de Boulogne, a couple to Porte Maillot. Very quiet yet extremely central.
Review 2:not a bad experience at all. just some constructive criticism. some things in the room might be attended to, 1. lighting in bathroom could be more user friendly. difficult to do hair and make-up. 2. bathroom could use shelves to put face and hair products. 3. the little metal cap on one of the sink faucets was missing. 4. the stopper in the sink did not work up and down (closed and open) 5. all the draperies were getting a bit droopy and worn looking. there were no pull sticks attached to open and close them. and they did not want to close completely. 6. instructions for the coffee maker would be helpful. 7. lighting could have been brighter in the bedroom. 8. carpet might have been a bit more thoroughly vacuumed. (however, the room was clean and the bathroom was clean). but the wood work was rather dusty, dirty. I noticed this because I had opened the window, it rained, so I wiped up the drops on the floor under the window and along the molding. it was not clean. I stayed in an hotel twice in Bordeaux a week or so earlier in my trip and the room each time was very clean everywhere. so I am just making this comparison. 8. and I am just curious how the class ware and coffee cups are washed. do they come up from the kitchen or does the maid do them in the room? it is good to know they are sanitized. I do hope you realize that this is positive constructive input. I very much enjoyed my stay with you for all the good reasons I stated. I will return when I plan another stay in Paris. you are far from the noise and tourists and craziness from downtown Paris. for me Paris was getting very difficult. I think I have found a very nice oasis in your comfortable Le Jardin de Neuilly.
Review 3:great staff is helpful, pleasant and friendly, quiet!, garden view from breakfast room was lovely, my request for a quiet garden room was honored, neighborhood is upscale, safe and has good shops and good restaurants close by, park 2 blocks down the street for walks and relaxing, metro 3 blocks away.
Review 4:In the first room I was offered the lights were not working; I was offered a second one where not all the lights were working, but it was OK. In the bathroom the water was leaking from the bathtub. Except that, it was fine.
Review 5:Excellent location, close to Port Maillot metro station; Nice and large room for Paris standards, comfortabile bed; Nice lounge and garden; Friendly staff;
Review 6:May be a good idea to get shower screens that are length of bath as shower powerful and water sprayed on bathroom floor.
Review 7:A lovely boutique style hotel. Rooms lovely and close to metro stops. Could walk to Arc de Triomphe and to Tower if don't mind walking. Very quiet when we were there. Reception staff friendly.
Review 8:No shower but bathtub. Noisy neighbors. Almost no service. Breakfast staff doesn't speak english and is not very helpful.
Review 9:Front desk employees are very kind.
Review 10:Couldn't get a drink of any sort either tea coffee or alcohol unless having with breakfast or from minibar. Expected to at least be able to have coffee during the day
Review 11:Wi if was a good point as on TVs only had the news channel in english
Review 12:The internet connection is really poor (forget about watching movies online) and pancakes for breakfast were completely cold (as waiting for their turn to be eaten on a simple plate, better get some heated cookware for that).
Review 13:The hotel is situated near the Bois de Boulogne (fresh air and singing birds as a bonus) few minutes walk from the metro, yellow line. You can easily reach either the center of Paris or la Defense if you came for business. The hotel itself is small, clean and cozy and the common area is beautifully decorated (stucco moulding!). Sincerely amiable personnel will make your stay as pleasant as possible.
Review 14:-Lies in a small unknown street so it took me some time to reach with my luggage. -No Safe in the room (They didnt announce it as a granted facility, but i expected it) - Limited Breakfast options (No Omlets, just boiled eggs, not much varieties of cheese. -No Dont Disturb sign in the room
Review 15:-Cleanliness -Internal Decorations -Quietness -Staff are friendly
Review 16:Windows in our room on top floor where small. "Grenier" like.
Review 17:Very cute little hotel with a backyard garden. Bathroom was very nice with an independent bath tub, with beautiful day light from window. (That is not in the standard room, but the deluxe one i think)
Review 18:Small room, for two, three days.
Review 19:Good and quiet location, very nice staff, mini bar in the room with coffee and tee, nice bathroom. Close to the metro and Port Maillot. On Sunday there is a mini market square with regional food and some gifts.
Review 20:no real selection of food was available at breakfast... difficult to move the extremely heavy curtains... other person's (long red ) hair found in the bathroom...
Review 21:Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was in quiet location, perfect sleep. Not five minutes to the metro. Decent breakfast. Great big bathroom. The place had a very cosy atmosphere
Review 22:The room is very small, much smaller than the pictures on website, and the bed was not so confortable. Also, the garden is almost not there...:)
Review 23:The hotel is OK, being very well located. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Also the room was clean at all the times.
Review 24:Felt a little unsafe in the room I was in. It was on the ground floor with patio windows to the terrace where everyone walks through to get to the building I was in. The curtains were broken so did't cover the whole room and when I arrived the patio door was unlocked, thankfully I checked. Someone also tried to get into my room at one point in the night so added with a fairly uncomfortable bed, I didn't get the best nights sleep.
Review 25:The staff were all great. I spoke to probably about 4 or 5 different staff at reception and all were very friendly and helpful, especially the guy who was there when I checked out at 6:30am. Great location for convention center and easy walk to local restaurants. Price was really good.
Review 26:Very small and a bit too quiet since there is no café, no bar, no restaurant - so if you'd like to see other people around it is probable not the best place.
Review 27:Nice breakfast, very peaceful, nicely decorated room and bathroom, good wifi. Very convenient to go to the conference center cnit, La Defence.
Review 28:absolute terrible beds/matrasses. general in France. I just don't get it in a hotel sleeping should be/is most important and gets always the least attention...
Review 29:everything else
Review 30:Uncomfortable beds.
Review 31:Breakfast and Nespresso coffee; clean facilities; location (peaceful, good for those that like to run in the morning - park), ok staff.
Review 32:You should avoid to stay in a typical Paris city-center 'expensive but small room/unconmfortable' hotels. Here you can have very quiet environment and high mobility with Metro line 1 wihich is 4min walk to the station. Staff are nice.
Review 33:Only drawback was no dinner restaurant, and though many cafes and restaurants are very conveniently near, it was the holiday weekend :( Fortunately at a little trek we found a beautiful brasserie where the cheese plates were unbelievable.
Review 34:The location was absolutely super; quiet, garden-like area but very convenient to metro station direct to Paris centre. The hotel is delightful, the room very large by Paris standards, well refurbished, quiet and very comfortable, The breakfast, though self-service, is brilliant; very fresh and varied fruit salad, fresh and varied meats, cheeses and lovely bread of many varieties and gorgeous coffee! Final joy - the hotel provided big brollies on loan by the front door - essential during our stay and much appreciated.
Review 35:the loft in our room had a rickety railing. Not very safe.
Review 36:Really appreciated the air conditioning. Nice spot right between Bois de Boulogne & the market at Pl. De Marche.
Review 37:Great location, great service
Review 38:Bath tub with no shower
Review 39:Nice hotel, close to the Metro, Bars, Restaurants and in a very nice district
Review 40:-/-

Review 42:As usual in Paris, room very small
Review 43:Nice hotel, in an ancient house with pretty garden
Review 44:Paris is very busy
Review 45:First time in Paris. Easy to get to tourist areas.
Review 46:Nothing
Review 47:Huge rooms with claw foot bathtub. Excellent location.
Review 48:nope.
Review 49:Staff.. I don't know his name but oh my god he is the best kind staff on Europe. so kind to me I want to thanks for him
Review 50:Kind and helpful staff. Charming character hotel, with good size room by Paris standards.
Review 51:A bit dark room
Review 52:Great value for money Safe neighborhood, close to all amenities and transport Free wifi
Review 53:Convenient to metro, restaurant , local shop.
Review 54:Musty smell in the first room I had. After changing rooms, I was completely happy.
Review 55:Location was great. very central
Review 56:The room smelled really badly of smoke even though it was a non smoking room.
Review 57:Room was much larger than usual French hotel rooms.
Review 58:Very nice staff, always smiling and helpful. Nice location and decoration.
Review 59:slow WiFi
Review 60:quiet place
Review 61:Double rooms doesn't have showers, just bathtubs. Wi-fi was really disappointing from 11pm to 5am.
Review 62:Good service. Good value breakfast.
Review 63:Bath location in the room Price
Review 64:Staff De luxe room very comfortable Bathtube
Review 65:Quiet Rooms larger than typical Paris hotel room Close to metro Nice area, short walk to arc de triomphe
Review 66:wifi
Review 67:staff
Review 68:Size of the room, cleanliness, friendly staff, air conditioned, easy walk to Arc de Triomphe.
Review 69:My room was very small.
Review 70:The breakfast and the garden.
Review 71:no lift, all other was very good
Review 72:All was good including living other side busy street, with garden
Review 73:Location
Review 74:This is a very nice hotel close to Arc de Triomphe, with a great garden and a very good breakfast. Very generous stuff at the reception, and there is free tea and coffee in the room which is a nice touch. Highly recommend. We will be back!
Review 75:WiFi was awful.
Review 76:The staff was very friendly. I arrived very early and they held my luggae without incident; they also offered me a little breakfast and coffe. I ate this on the patio which was small and lovely. The room was clean and small; exactly what I needed. teh view from the window was lovely in the morning. the hotel is right on the metro line with quick access to the sights. Thank you, it was great!
Review 77:Room was small, but bathroom very nice. Care needed to avoid shower water spraying everywhere!
Review 78:Staff helpful. Good breakfast. Resonably close to metro and Palais de Congres. Quiet garden setting.
Review 79:Very close to Le Sablons metro and 4 minutes from the center. Goodbrekfast. Entrance always monitored or during the night closed. Veryfriendly staff. Considering prices in Paris I reccommend the hotel forcouples or singles.Near the hotel, about 30 metrrs is small grocerystore. At the garden side there is no noise at all.
Review 80:No lift in the building where I stayed (not the main building), and breakfast is quite expensive ta €15.
Review 81:Good location, reasonable amenities for a city-centre location. Free Wi-Fi in the hotel (though quite slow)
Review 82:Was traveling in business. It's near the metro and easy to get I to Paris proper. Close tire Eiffel Tower. But it's a quiet neighborhood with a few good restaurants. Not touristy at all. Room was large and comfortable. Not a good desk for working for long hours, however, as it's very small. Decent breakfast. Helpful staff.
Review 83:Keys for room, small size of the room in comparison to price, keys for minibar, not enough plugs - eg. to charge mobile, no place for own cosmetics in bathroom, not enough place for suitcase in the room.
Review 84:Design, location, breakfast, worm, cosmetics from the hotel, wifi
Review 85:No shower, one has to stand in the bathtub, holding the shower. No curtain, so the bathroom is like a swimming pool afterwards. Single door so noise from the hallway.
Review 86:Location Quiet location General feeling
Review 87:The shower upster but I think it's hard to to goes up if you are heavy well this is Paris!
Review 88:I really like the property, I didn't feel like a hotel! it was much better. The service is very good and I really recommend this hotel. By the way it's so close to action but so quiet inside and from the street!...we really enjoy it.
Review 89:the stairs leading to the loft were very steep almost a ladder as opposed to stairs. The hotel no bar or restaurant, breakfast was booked as included in the room but was charged separately making the rate was expensive per night, compared to others I have stayed in downtown Paris. This hotel outside of Paris was not a very good deal as it was too expensive for what was available in the hotel.
Review 90:The room was clean and on a courtyard with the washroom in a loft. Access to metro was good and there were shops around the hotel. It was close to the business meeting location.
Review 91:Might need a little bit of renovation.
Review 92:Nice small and peaceful hotel located with an easy access to the west and the center of Paris and to the business district of la Défense. The small garden is pleasant. The quality of the breakfast ingredient (bread coming from a real bakery!).
Review 93:Too expensive breakfast, it's smarter to eat in restaurants in the avenue for less. Stairs are really narrow and no elevator.
Review 94:Close to line 1 metro stations (to Arc, Champs and Louvre, visit La Defense also!), clean, nice bathroom.
Review 95:Breakfast terrible value for money. Room smaller than previous stay. Prices show marked increase on 2010.
Review 96:Location excellent (have stayed before). Decent rooms. Relaxed.
Review 97:breakfast is not included in relatively high hotel price no restaurant in the hotel, there are several nice restaurants nearby
Review 98:hotel in a nice area close to metro station and conference center, friendly staff. In the weekends free parking in the area. Room a bit dark, but quiet location and with coffee/tea facilities
Review 99:No stand up shower! had to crouch in bathtub and use shower wand. Some broken fittings and fixtures in room, battery on thermostat control flat so couldn't adjust temp,
Review 100:Modern design touches, generously sized bathroom with double vanities, excellent breakfast
Review 101:Having to check out!
Review 102:What a discovery just off Ave Charles De Gaulle. Traditional facade with modern rooms and a pleasant garden. Relaxing atmosphere with friendly staff. Metro stop nearby. We loved it. On street parking, if available, was free for us in an Irish registered vehicle.
Review 103:Nichts nothing rien
Review 104:Ganz tolles individuelles Hotel mit Charme Really individual style, lots of charm and the Garden is awesome and quite Great rooms that all differ one from each other
Review 105:The building is quite old & the room is too small for 2 people (evenfor 2 asian girls). No lift in the hotel but luckily the reception staffcarried our luggages to the room, so big big thank you to thisgentleman. For the price I paid for the room for 1 nite (around 170euro), I would prefer the Hyatt Regency near Porte Maillot as it'scloser to everything (the airport shuttle bus stop, restaurants, supermarket) and it only cost a bit more.
Review 106:The staff is helpful, esp. The gentleman who help us to carry ourluggage to the room. The bathroom is spacious comparing to theroom size.
Review 107:No elevator but it is not a big problem.
Review 108:Very slience and enthusiastic staffs. There is a park nearby for relax. We love the room, small but cute. Location is convenience.
Review 109:Lack of hot water one evening. No fresh milk or tea bags in the room. Room was quite small.
Review 110:Friendly staff Good location for our intended purpose of visit
Review 111:Breakfast selection not great, nothing hot, and would not pay the asking price of 18 euro. initial room was quite small, hotel was kind enough to swap us for a bigger room, which was nice. no great views, but we got a great price, so no complaints!
Review 112:we got a good deal. For the price was quite central, only 10 mins on metro to get to some of the main sights. Lovely building, near to French Congress, nice area generally, though not too much in walking distance, metro is only 200 meters away.
Review 113:The cancellation policy is rather strict. You cannot cancel thereservation (even at an early poin) at all without losing all ofyou money.
Review 114:The staff was very kind. I had to get a doctor in the middle of thenight. The receptionist was very helpful and arranged everything. Heeven agreed to pay the doctor as I did not have enough money on me and Icould pay him back the next day. We got an excellent price for the roomregarding the fact that Paris is rather expensive. The neighbourhood isvery safe and nice.
Review 115:Breakfast room was not that cosy, buut that's a minor critique.
Review 116:Really clean, good breakfast and very quiet location, still in the center of the city and near the conference center. Bathroom really beautiful, staff really friendly and helpful.
Review 117:A second sheed in the bed would have been nice. Also the air condition was acting really weird sometimes.
Review 118:The nice staff and the fancy bathroom is really cool. Also the location and the interiour is really nice. Very good for the price.
Review 119:The stairs are very narrow and I got moved to the 3rd floor, so its alittle bothersome.
Review 120:The room was cleaned on a daily basis.Breakfast was simple, but yummy croissants, cheeses, and meats.
Review 121:I was given a "large" room as an upgrade which is usually the size of standard room you would get in a chain hotel so if booking a 'standard' room at this hotel it may be a little small for some
Review 122:Pleasant atmosphere Friendly staff Good location
Review 123:Wi-Fi not available at night Breakfast ran out and not replaced Dirty glasses in fridge with lipstick, not replaced in 4 days
Review 124:Nothing. It was great
Review 125:The bedroom it was great.
Review 126:Great staff
Review 127:Shower didn't have a curtain - bathroom was flooded by the shower
Review 128:Breakfast; location; helpfulness of Reception staff
Review 129:Easy Convenient Excellent staff (who spoke English) I will stay again when next in Paris plus recommend to others
