Reviews for Le Bon Hôtel
Review 1:Close to the tube and to the shops in Neuilly. Nice view from our bedroom window. Staff helpful. Would like to have had coffee and kettle in the room as well as the fridge. We had wifi and it was free - although advertised as costing 5 euros. Breakfast is expensive at 18 euros per person - better to get some croissants from the boulangerie opposite.
Review 2:The room was a bit small and the breakfast is very basic. The sound insulation from the corridor is poor.
Review 3:It's three minute walk from the metro. The room was clean and modern, with some nice little touches like red light in the bathroom. The shower was one of the most comfortable I've ever seen. The aircon was doing its job perfectly, even when it was +35 outside.
Review 4:This seems to have been a *** before, but is now designated as ****; out of the bathroom ventilation system (non-active) there was a distinctive smoke (cigarette) smell; breakfast was ok but at 0900 in the morning no croissants, no plain yoghurt, only cold eggs were available, and could not be provided either wireless was free, but dropped connection on mobile devices at least every half hour
Review 5:Location was great for me (near metro M1, near Bois de Bologne for a quick run), the room was ok in size and was clean, the sound-level ok with windows closed
Review 6:The hotel was well situated for access to various parts of Paris. The room was clean and well facilitated. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were friendly. I would stay here again.
Review 7:room was a little to narrow, but ok
Review 8:very clean room, modern eqipment, and central location in Neuilly close to the Metro station Pont de Neuilly. European Continental Breakfast! Free WIFI
Review 9:Some receptionists (all were men) were not quite au courant. Some surprising technical difficulties were seen (minibars with water not working, window was skewed and required force to close etc). Actually it felt more of a solid 2-3 stars family hotel, don't get mislead with 4 stars; it was ok, but not brilliant; good deal but not a bargain.
Review 10:Location is great, close to metro, on relatively quiet district, felt secure walking at night, some bars, cafes, pastry shops around. A very good comfortable double bed, nice cosy room, cleaned daily, comfy bathroom with tube and shower. WiFi a bit cumbersome, but working great.
Review 11:Physical conditions: AC not working, water licking in the room, no safe nether mini fridge in the room. No water, thea, coffee to drink in the room. I asked for a late check out and when I returned to the hotel, my luggage were downstairs, at the reception (no safe storage).
Review 12:The locations is good.
Review 13:Wifi did not work through out whole trip but wifi for me wasn't an essential.
Review 14:Modern qerky value for money hotel ! Staff were friendly & very helpful.
Review 15:The bathroom was modern and very clean, but the shower drain didn't work well and we had to use a plastic room chair to hold soap and shampoo! The lobby was dreary.
Review 16:Close to Metro Line #1 which goes to Louvre and thus to center of Paris and all other metro connections. The room rate was great considering this.
Review 17:Unfortunatelly, the new air condition system doesn't work. The room was extremely hot. However they just install new system, so I hope that they will set it to work correctly in the near future
Review 18:In generally hotel with very good condition.
Review 19:The bed was uncomfortable largely due to the poor quality pillows. There was no paid internet and the free WiFi was very very slow. The in-room fridge was not restocked each day. The room was very small with nowhere to sit and work comfortably.
Review 20:The location was perfect for my needs. The room and the hotel in general was very clean. The breakfast was good with fresh croissant, fresh juice and all the usual continental items.

Review 71:There wasn't a shower The bed was uncomfortable The morning staff was rude with answering very simple questions
Review 72:The evening staff is great The location is right next to the metro and there is a bakery, cafe, pharmacy, bank, and small grocery store within 1 block
Review 73:Area is lovely the hotel is cute and small so are the rooms but they are very clean and the bed is amazingly comfortable. The room is very warm and cosy. The hotel is not in Paris it's in a city just outside Paris however 15 minutes in the train you at the main attractions in Paris. Very close to the station all in all very lovely hotel. And breakfast buffet was lovely
Review 74:Bad smell in the room (I choosed for a no smoking room), price too high, room too small, 2 single beds when I ask 1 double bed, internet 18 eurosper day, staff rude, room dirty
Review 75:Bed
Review 76:The cupboard not high enough to hang a dress and the hangers you can't take easily
Review 77:The comfort of the bed The breakfast served in the room though the price asked was 15 euros instead of 12 as on the booking paper .
Review 78:The hotel is very expensive for what it proposes (180€ per night: in Madrid or outside Paris you can have a 4 stars for this price!) The breakfast room is underground, lovely but small and very hot especially at 8.00 when most of the hotel is up. For this price, you should have at least real orange juice... The hotel is clean but old: needs some refreshment Bathroom is very small, no curtains so swapped every time you take a shower The wifi is free...but if it works (2 days without it out of 3!)
Review 79:The situation is perfect, close to Paris
Review 80:I booked a room in this hotel for my friend twice. The first time this so so. the second time is terrible, the room is too small. We rebooked for the second time, and the hotel insisted us to pay additional charge, and the refuse to give us the original invoice while we check out.
Review 81:This time the room was much smaller then during my previous stay and the shower room was in need of update.
Review 82:Nice and helpful staff, great location in a nice area.
Review 83:The elevator(lift) maximum 3 persons only, the toilet and the room are very small, the adult chanel in tv always there.the reception refused to charge on my credit card. He said i must pay cash, all three rooms next to my room doors are attached to each other...but aver all it's ok.
Review 84:Lcation near metro line1,breakfast,Price
Review 85:Room was hot and stuffy and the air-con didn't work. Had to sleep with the window open to keep the room cool, but that meant it was noisy.
Review 86:The location and the breakfast were good. I slept pretty well, despite the fact that the room was very small.
Review 87:It is better to be bath tab for Japanese. The elevator is narrow, but it is OK for a traditional building.
Review 88:Location is very good for our business. The staff can speak English, it is good and tell us the place to go.
Review 89:street outside quite noisy in the mornings
Review 90:location -quick into town staff - friendly asked for a quiet room and could change to one! nice surrounding easy access by buss from CDG and 2 metro stations
Review 91:you can hear water running around in radiators. the only way to stop that noise was to turn them off, so it was either not sleeping because of noise or because of cold.
Review 92:location, friendly and helfull staff
Review 93:The rooms look older than they do in the photographs. Wi-Fi coverage waspatchy in our room.
Review 94:It is located a few minutes away from metro stop Point de Neuilly,so it's very easy to get to and from central Paris. Theneighbourhood of Neuilly is really quiet and friendly, very pleasantand safe even at night. The hotel is quite basic, but good value for money compared to hotels in central Paris. It was clean though the rooms are not very new.
Review 95:my room was not clean, towels stinked, price too high for what the hotel offers
Review 96:Very close to the underground station, reception 24 hours, frigobar not expensive
Review 97:The room is hot and the bed is warm ALOT plus our place near the roundabout so alot of car noises in the morning Wifi is auto dissconet so u have to connect everytime
Review 98:Location near Ponte de Nuilly station , between center paris and la defense Nice place to stay for 3 nights just to discover the city of paris I choose it because the le champs elysees were FULLY booked
Review 99:I loved the low price, the private room with private bath and thelocation to the metro. It was close to the metro and just a few stopsfrom center Paris. There was also a delicious bakery right across thestreet that was very convenient!
Review 100:The location is inconvenient and noisy, but the truly shocking thing is the attitude of reception staff, at least on the Bastille Day weekend when I was there. I could not sleep because my room had no soundproofing and the window would not stay shut. Reception informed me that this was my fault because I do not know how to close windows. I was also told that it was my fault the cleaner had come bursting in at 09:00 because I had not hung out the 'do not disturb' sign (there are none to display). I was also misinformed about what was an was not open on the holiday weekend, and finally shouted at and accused of being a National Front supporter (!). I cannot understand how this hotel has three stars - it is to be avoided at all costs.
Review 101:Nothing to like - do not stay here.
Review 102:Understand, the place is nice and clean, but there are a few things that I would expect when I'm traveling for work. The rooms are a bit small for a 3 stars, I was in 404 which has a nice balcony. The bed was quite good, while the bathroom was rather tiny. There is no phone in the room, the desk is the smallest ever, no pens, no paper, nothing. The minibar has a few bottles, but you don't have a bottle opener!
Review 103:If you want to save a little money, this place it ideal: it's right in the middle of Neuilly and right beside the Pont De Nuilly metro station, it's clean and it's functional. The room was dead silent, really you will sleep rather well, I couldn't hear any single noise from the street.
Review 104:You will be able to read about it on the web. I will write it in Englishand have it translated into French. It will be factual. I am acommunications expert with an international practice. The Hotel DuChateau lags behind on the notion that it matters how* you do yourbusiness. I have trained senior management staff in the internationalhospitality industry. Hotel du Chateau needs either systems or personelor earnest committment (or all of these) to treating each guest as ahuman being not as problem, no matter what. (Perhaps read the book bythat title; how by Dov Seidman.) The M.O.D. at the Hotel Du Chateau wasway out of his league, despite 15 his years in the business.
Review 105:Terrible management. For business, I have stayed in hotels, on average, about 40% of weekends per year for the last 12 years. Hotel du Chateuwas the worst experience of management in a hotel I have everexperienced. I intend to write about my experience and publish it onsites where travelers go to read commentary about hotels from guests. Iam very angry. My health was put in jeopardy by a M.O.D. who chose tosolve his problem in a stupid and inconsiderate way. The manager was wayout of his depth and lacked both management sophistiction andconsideration.
Review 106:My room was poorly decorated, dirty carpet and wallpaper, furniture and fittings had seen better days.
Review 107:The breakfast was good.
Review 108:Receptionist are in a bad mood most of the times.
Review 109:It's a good localization, near to the subway and bedroom is comfortable.
Review 110:Cleaning could have been better - but not too bad. Quite pricy for the standard
Review 111:Efficient check-in and friendly staff. OK hotel, typical 3-star
Review 112:No free of charge wi-fi and the connection didnt even work ; reallysmall elevator
Review 113:I was in room 511 and the shower was very small, although substancial space was available to have a bigger shower.
Review 114:Close to metro station.
Review 115:Breakfast was good
Review 116:Internet only works on one side of the hotel Still old-fashioned blankets instead of duvets
Review 117:Location
Review 118:nothing really, i enjoyed my stay in this hotel.
Review 119:Staff was great, super-helpful, welcoming.
Review 120:Night receptionist was a pain, talking about how we supposedly broke themain door when walking out ...
Review 121:Staff very friendly, very comfortable and oh so central to everything.Food everywhere and a real part of France.
Review 122:Overpriced breakfast Noisy room near elevator and stairs
Review 123:Proximity to location for business Proximity to Metro
