Reviews for Best Western Le Comtadin
Review 1:---
Review 2:the staff was very very nice, helpful and friendly. i travel a lot for work throughout Europe (80% of my time) and i rarely got this kind of service. even in more expensive hotels with more stars...
Review 3:Most of the rooms are on the upper floor and there is no elevator; thestairs are not very steep, but the ceiling is high so there are a lot ofsteps. There are terraces as shown in the online photo, but they arequite small internal courtyards and guests are not allowed to eat ordrink there. There is only one picture on the walls of the room and allyou can see from the bed is a rather spartan wooden built-in wardrobe. The wifi was so slow part of the time that it was impossible to use theinternet without timing out on e-mail and websites. The hotel is on aone-way ring road around the old city that is very busy at rush hour andalthough we found on-street parking on the first day, we were not toldthat there are two huge free parking lots within two blocks of thehotel. Consequently, I drove in circles around the old city for over anour before a parking space opened up. The breakfast is certainlycopious, but the sausages were pretty awful and the scrambled eggs weretoo wet for my taste.
Review 4:The bar area was very cozy, the bed was comfortable, the bathrooms werevery nicely done, the a/c works well and the evening desk clerk onour third night was very helpful. The hotel is right across from the oldcity, which has one of the best markets in Provence.
Review 5:The staff were amazing! I spent two nights and experienced 3 differentstaff on 3 different shifts and all were incredibly helpful. I'dforgotten my universal adapter and the night manager pieced 3 adapterstogether so that I could charge my computer. I wasn't expecting muchbut was surprised and delighted with my stay!
Review 6:Thought breakfast was a bit expensive, homemade jams and other selection made it worth the money! Staff was very kind. Upstairs terrace was also lovely for morning sunbathing.
Review 7:There are no bad points about this hotel. If I was really picky I would say that the meals and car parking are a little expensive. But there are plenty of other places to eat and the whole street outside is free parking so neither was a problem and will not be a problem for anyone visiting this hotel in the future.
Review 8:This is a perfectly sited hotel ideal for the cyclist who wants to explore the beautiful surrounding area not to mention Mont Ventoux, a short distance away. The hotel caters extremely well for cyclists, with a lockable bike storage room, tools and a breakfast that sets up even the most hungry for a day in the saddle.
Review 9:no elevator - but we got help. no credut card - the machine didn't work , and we had to pay cash.
Review 10:the receptionisr that accept us was wonderful! the superior room was good , the standart - not so much... there was a very nuce terrace. breakfast was good.

Review 29:The manager/owner(?) never even acknowledged our existence when hesaw us in the lobby, and when he checked us out never once said thankyou, have a nice trip. . . Nothing . . even though he was fluent inGerman, French and English. We paid and he went on to two other Frenchladies checking out, and he couldn't have been friendlier and keptsaying Merci to them over and over. This was our second stay here, andwe loved Jean-Baptiste, as we did the last visit, but we are never goingback again because of this man's obvious dislike for Americans.
Review 30:Jean-Baptiste, the night manager, was absolutely wonderful!
Review 31:May be the owners should start thinking about renovating the ground floor. It is a bit 1950s and looks sad.....
Review 32:Excellent people at the desk! Always ready to help you, and always with a smile. Bravo Jean-Baptiste and his female collegue ( I forgot her name) !!
Review 33:Concierge was excellent - friendly, informative, helpful. Even gave us free coffee/snacks in the morning in the lobby while we were waiting to leave.
Review 34:The staff were very friendly and all spoke excellent English. They made me feel welcome. It was a family-run hotel with a nice relaxed atmosphere but with the backing of a chain like Best Western. Thoroughly enjoyable.
Review 35:The double room was a little compact.
Review 36:The Reception staff were particularly helpful, parking our car for us and making it ready each day. They were always ready to help with information and were cheerful, friendly and yet professional
Review 37:- some parts of the bathroom would require repair, eg: the shower head holder - the keycard holder next to the door was broken - the mirror door of the wardrobe was also broken
Review 38:- the kindness and helpfulness of the staff. it was excellent, very-very good. - the bed was good, the cleanliness also good.
Review 39:to far to walk for car park. Car park very restrictive. Room on the small side. Beds very uncomfortable.
