Reviews for Escale Au Soleil
Review 1:Rooms in need of serious renovation.Paint peeling from ceiling and walls. AC loud and not efficient.Standard room too small, shower and wc. even smaller.,height of wash basin must have been for tall people. 8Euro/person for breakfast is too much for pieces of baquette, some jelly , coffee.
Review 2:The room didn't have a toilet (which I was aware on booking) but the shared toilet, while spotless, was incredibly small.
Review 3:The owner is one of the most helpful people I've ever come across running a hotel.
Review 4:compavt room, do not accept cheque vacance for bookings made on this website, shower is very compact, no wifi in the rooms
Review 5:clean and cozy rooms, terrace, close to the beach and resturants
Review 6:Very friendly and nicely positioned. Very quiet pleasant stay. Nice cosy terrace apartment. Parking right out front. Several restaurants close and handy.
Review 7:Generally everything was good, maybe other guests are not happy with: - no Wifi in rooms - small rooms
Review 8:We are a young couple and were there in September for holidays. - Free public parking spaces around - Nice location (75m to the sea) - Modern rooms, everything you need, refurbished - Very nice mistress - Cheap breakfast including orange juice, coffee, tea, two sorts of bread, butter, jam, ham, cheese, etc. The breakfast is every morning fresh!
Review 9:It was all very relaxed and close to the sea
Review 10:Tiny bathroom, but not a great inconvenience!
Review 11:The location, the friendly welcome - and a fridge!
Review 12:Rooms are very tiny.
Review 13:Authentic beach hotel
Review 14:- friendly and helpful lady owner - air conditioning and fridge - we took the room with the terrace and it worth it - funny and friendly kitty :)
Review 15:Room is very small, Limited breakfast
Review 16:Personnel, design, location
Review 17:Bathroom was not so clean and a very small room voor euro 90 (10m2)
Review 18:Place and the owner
Review 19:Bathroom and toilet area very small
Review 20:Very well located in a peaceful road 20 metres from the sea. Room was spotless Owner hospitable Very good value
Review 21:This is a lovely 2 star hotel - as some in France can be! The room was comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was served in the small dining room by the owner who couldn't do enough for us. We'd certainly recommend this hotel.
Review 22:the bed included in the sofa was quite old and noisy, not comfortable for sleeping.
Review 23:really enjoyed the welcoming. the hotel is perfectly located, close to the sea. the room was big enough for the family, and the kitchen corner and the private terrasse quite adapted for autonomy and space.
Review 24:Bathroom was extremely small. Almost a little funny though. I'll rather have a bigger room and a small bathroom.
Review 25:We stayed for one night since we wanted to swim and drink rosé wine by the sea. Location was great, and we got both swimming and wine so we were happy. The hotel had everything that we needed for a short visit to the ocean.
Review 26:Bathroom a bit small
Review 27:Staff were really friendly and the hotel is well located near everything, but just away enough so that it is quiet. The beach is about 200 metres easy walk. Great value for money - will bring friends back next time. St.Aygulf is a top spot for a couple of days rest - it's got sand too!
Review 28:Bathroom was tiny. To get into the shower you had to step over a toilet. And space in front of toilet almost non existent, so that you almost hadto sit sideways.
Review 29:Perfect location in a quiet area, around the hotel are only privatevillas, beautiful. Sea is really only about 100m from the hotel, but itis not the beach, it's a great viewing point of the rocky seaside.Beaches are close as well, just a short walk, maybe up to 10 mins.Beaches in this area are sandy, that is good too. Our room was in groundfloor with a small open terrace for private use, which was very helpfulwith having a 2 year old son with us and the room itself being quitesmall. Hotel staff very friendly and room well equipped and clean.
Review 30:Nothing special...the are friendly and fair.

Review 32:The owners are truly lovely and welcoming. There is a beach promenade to the port and beaches. A great choice of restaurants only a walk away.
Review 33:The hotel was located in a quiet side-street. Good to sit outside and enjoy an excellent breakfast.
Review 34:Very pleasant stay, right next to the beach. Helpful owner, gave us directions to nearby restaurants. Would definitely visit again!
Review 35:Nothing to do in the area
Review 36:Very close to the see
Review 37:Location, staff, friendnly enviroment
