Reviews for Le Clos Des Arômes
Review 1:No kettle or refrigerator in the rooms. Unstable wi-fi (some days I could not use the internet at all due to very frequent losses of the connection)
Review 2:Good location. Helpful staff of the restaurant, which serve as receptionists of the hotel.
Review 3:Minor nuisance from the Church bell ringing every hour, but it did not interfere with sleep.
Review 4:The great hospitality of the staff; the quiet location; the picturesque view from the room, including, the sea, the church of Saint Michel and a charming pedestrian-friendly back street. The authentically Provencal restaurant, located at the rear of the hotel within a tree-canopied courtyard, serving excellent locally sourced traditional cuisine.
Review 5:The room was more basic and much snaller than we had anticipated. Entering the room via the bathroom was unusual! We had indicated in advance that my wife needed lactose-free breakfast and this was acknowledged at our first breakfast with extra fruit. This did not last and by the end of our stay there was virtually nothing for her to eat for breakfast and when we asked we were simply told (politely) that there was nothing.
Review 6:The hotel location is great and the garden for breakfast and other meals was really nice.
Review 7:Really friendly, genuine staff who try their best to accommodate your every need! We tended to wake up too late for breakfast, but they alwasy made sure to save us some bread and coffee which was lovely! We loved our stay and would recommend you visit, the restaurant in the evening is extremely nice with many local wines!
Review 8:The attic chamber was too hot to sleep in after a day of 30 deg.C. The small fan was noisy and inadequate.
Review 9:The terrace for diner and breakfast was very beautiful.
Review 10:Wifi was sometimes failing (2nd floor).
Review 11:The more than kind host and hostess, the great terrace with 3 million' cigalles', the atmosphere, and most of all: this hosts onlywant to do one thing: make you feel at home. Also 5 minutes walk fromthe sea, and yet quiet!
Review 12:Julien and others were really friendly and willing to offer advice or suggestions to make the most of my stay. The hotel is a 2 minute walk from bars/restaurants and a 5 min walk from the beach.
Review 13:Authentic french boutique hotel with absolutely amazing staff! Great location with beautiful courtyard for dining and relaxing! Would highly recommend!!
Review 14:At breakfast they serve filter coffee rather than espresso, which I dislike, but that seems to be customary in the region.
Review 15:The hotel is located in the upper old town, which is central but quiet. It has a good restaurant that serves mostly local fish dishes and pizzas. The single rooms are tiny, but convenient, and among the cheapest single rooms in town.
Review 16:There isn't an elevator.
Review 17:The staff is great.
Review 18:Rooms not really soundproof one from the other.
Review 19:Quiet street in the old town, 3 min walk from the charming port of Cassis.
Review 20:We were an English couple in our eighties visiting our son in Marseille. The food was excellent, and the service most welcoming and helpful.
