Review 1：very informal atmosphere - staff went out of their way to accommodate requests and make the stay as pleasant as possible. charming rooms and decoration.

Review 2：Paying for parking, the room was small and no tea making facilities.

Review 3：The staff couldn't have been better, the location is good for skiing, ski rental, supermarket and for the centre of town. The hotel and room was equipped with everything we wanted and the breakfast was excellent.

Review 4：the room was smelling smoking and I wanted to change room. Even going out from bathroom, the smell was unpleasent. The staff told me "it's not smelling smoke" ! ans I did'nt appreciate !

Review 6：Make sure you head to the hotel reception first to collect a car park permit! - if you head straight to the car park (like we did), you'll have to pay EUR12 for the night rather than EUR8.50. Not a huge amount but would have been nice to be warned about this one.

Review 7：Easy walking access to town centre. Friendly staff. Great breakfast. Our twin room had heating but no air-con, was fine during our stay (Sept) but in the height of summer this would be worth asking for one of the air-con rooms.

Review 15：Despite the fans it was incredibly hot and stuffy in the room. The bed was not comfortable. There were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. It felt a bit in need of a refurb and therefore not great value.

Review 24：The room and hotel appearance are not as good as in the pictures here. When I got in I wasn't even sure whether that was the hotel I had booked. Very disappointing. Very old looking room, old bathroom, old bed, old everything. I really disliked it. The breakfast was good, but I cannot understand why I was the only one asked by the staff what my room number was...only because I'm a foreigner and do not speak any French?

Review 25：The girl with blue or green eyes, I can't remember, in reception. She was helpful, had a very good English and was extremely attractive (tall and thin). I immediately fell in love with her and was thinking of her while in my room.

Review 26：What a delightful venue. An historic convent converted into a beautiful accommodation and restaurant. The pool was appreciated with the extremely hot weather Europe has been experiencing. Food was beautiful. A great spot to base ourselves for a few nights explore the region.

Review 29：The room was very small, small bathroom. We were initially given an updated room but it didn't have air conditioning and the heat was unbearable. The room we changed to was the size of a closet, but it did have working AC.

Review 33：Nightmare to find….. It was very difficult to find this hotel as most of the centre of the town is pedestrianised. The parking they have near the hotel is only for smaller cars so my large 4x4 did not fit in. They did not supply the usual kettle and cups for a hot drink (which we are used to in all the hotels we stay in) in the room.

Review 43：It was a very relaxing hotel, in a wonderfull position in the old part of town. The bathroom was beautifull, & the room very comfortable. There was lots of storage space for your clothes. The staff were lovely. Wifi was excellent.

Review 44：The water continued to run after flushing and this was reported but no repairs occurred in the week I was there. The noise made it difficult to sleep. The air conditioner is a stand alone unit and works great however, if you are in the shower when it kicks in you get scalded as it takes the cold water. Getting into the shower around the glass partition is difficult and could lead to falls easily.

Review 45：All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Even with language differences they always found a way to assist me. They had ideas for tourists as well as references for dining and what prices to expect. I couldn't have been more pleased with customer service.

When we discovered tiny insects in our bed and my husband went to reception to ask for advice he was offered an adjoining room; but no one came up to investigate or apologized for the inconvenience. No reference was made to it when we checked out; no one asked if we'd had a pleasant stay. All in all rather disappointing.
