Résidence Spa - Le Lochmer sells fast on our site. In the Finistere region, right next to Saint-Jean beach, this residence offers apartments with a kitchenette overlooking the sea. Guests have free access to the spa center, a quarter mile away.
All apartments at the Résidence Lochmer feature a sofa, a TV and a work desk. They include a bathroom with a shower and linens are provided. The apartments are also equipped with kitchen facilities, including a microwave.
A buffet breakfast is available in the morning at a nearby hotel. Regional cuisine is served at l'Armor, the Best Western Hotel Thalasstonic’s restaurant, a quarter mile away. A seafood buffet is prepared every Friday evening.
Guests of the residence also have free access to the thalassotherapy center a quarter mile away. There is an indoor swimming pool, a sauna, a hammam and a hot tub.
Residence Lochmer offers a full range of services including free private parking and free use of a washing machine. A dryer and a shuttle service to the airport and the train station are also available for an extra fee.

Review 1：Building scruffy needs painting, concrete starting to spall, Rainwater pipes broken resulting in damp patch on inside of wall. No signposts, difficult to find, directions should have been on literature, 400metres to key, 400metres to breakfast, office open at wrong hours, cooker wiring wrong - difficult to judge heat. It was all rather disappointing!

Review 3：It was very hard to find. Also we had to find another hotel first, to pick up the keys as no staff are on site. Douarnanez is ok as a base, but there were much lovelier towns.

Review 4：We liked the view from the window, overlooking a small beach. The room was spacious and clean.

Review 5：What an unpleasant surprise was it! When I booked Le Lochmer Residence, I was particularly intrigued by the possibility of having free access at the Hotel SPA (best Western Chain), but nowhere was clearly indicated that you have to walk half kilometer on a narrow street (and for sure not flat) with no boardwalks. Result: we never used it. Inside spaces were quite shabby, with a little kitchen where you can cook something (but not eating …. not enough space: table and chairs in the bedroom). The location was close to a little beach but very far from city center and reastaurants: consider that Douarnenez is sitting on the opposite sides of a river flowing down to the sea and if you’re on “the wrong” side, you’ve to take the car and drive a long way to go to the center. No wi-fi Parking on the property … at your car risks: you have to enter in a very narrow space and when exiting you’ll face a challenging “stop” with absolute no view, till you’re on the street: so hope no car is coming when you’re leaving! Better looking for other solutions

Review 6：-the Interior: not cozy (at least, we felt better after re-arranging the bed) -the very small size of the room for a rather high price -poor equipment in the kitchen -pedestrians can look into your room if you get ground floor -no bath amenities -Sauna and swimming pool: Attention: Non-nude Sauna, prepare to have propper dresses (we didn't); steam bath without water pipe for cleaning - not very hygenic. We cannot recommend to go there unless you might have kids who need to play inside.

Review 24：Situated next to a small sandy bay with views over estuary. Coastal path allowed walks to neighbouring bays/towns. The spa (salt water swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, etc) was excellent. Able to lie in bed and listen to the sea.

Review 25：The location was right on the beach, with walks in either direction . Lovely. Short walk to the spa, able to use Internet in the hotel. Everything we needed.
