Reviews for Chambres d'hôtes Edoniaa
Review 1:Only two complaints in an otherwise excellent stay. 1.) First night's sleep badly disrupted by uncomfortable ruckled waterproof undersheet (Removed for 2nd night) 2.) Difficult shower as per your most insightful revue The potholed drive needs maintenance
Review 2:Agree with all that your most insightful revue says. Proprieter most welcoming and helpful
Review 3:Wi-fi didn't work in our room. Noise from the flat above when walking about late at night. Some kind of mosquito that had been allowed to get into the room before we got there. No other window other than the entrance door to the flat.
Review 4:The very pleasant host/owner, good filling breakfast and nice grounds. Table tennis table and boules pitch.
Review 5:Bath difficult to get into/out of No shower holder - so you have to hold the shower head showering. No curtain or screen so shower water goes everywhere.Bathroom had no facility for drying or hanging clothes. Tennis court payable at 5 euros per hour but surface filthy with debris and dangerous to use. Bedroom was dark and no full length mirror for checking dress appearance etc. Pool had sun beds - no tables chairs around it. No satelite tv so foreign language digital channels. No tea making facilities in room (supposed to be a superior room) Room was dark. No lounge for guests to relax in and room dark to relax without additional light.
Review 6:Daily towel change.
Review 7:The property is in need of some investment. I felt we didn't quite get what we paid for.
Review 8:The owner is very friendly. The location is very peaceful.
Review 9:shame we had last room - no options in terms of catering and single beds one of us pushed together and the other nudged apart!
Review 10:Peaceful location. charming host. being away from the rat race. absence of any sense of rules and regulations - informality
Review 11:Friendly staff - Nice location - clean and quiet ! I loved it :)
Review 12:tranquility of the venue
Review 13:If you like a shower rather than a bath the shower is only hand-held, which is not as convenient as one that can be fixed.
Review 14:Rooms were large and very quiet because of the country location. We received a very friendly and helpful welcome and enjoyed our stay there. It is rather remote from restaurants so a car is required, but Fort Mahon Plaige is only a few minutes away. few
Review 15:Not being able to stay longer!!!! May be dinner as an option and perhaps a small bar on site (I don't know) but really I have nothinbg to say I didn't like about the place.
Review 16:Set on the outskirts of a small town in green countryside, the location is excellent for a complete rest at one with nature! The rooms are spacious with excllent facilities. A spa bath and mini bar at sensible prices also compliments the supurbly appointed rooms. Breakfast is extra but also represents great value for money. Fresh bread, locally made produce with lashing of fresh tea or coffee makes it a great meal to start the day with! The geese, ducks, horses, ponies and a loveable big brown dog all contribute to the farnhouse feel. The owner makes you feel very welcome and we can't wait to go back! They also have 2 bedroomed and self catering facilities in additional rooms.
Review 17:We found this place on Booking, and it is truly a gem. Location, facilities, nearness to beaches , cleanliness, breakfast. But ,above all, the owner must be one of the very nicest people in France. We recommend to anyone, couples or families. We loved it.
Review 18:Lack of tea/coffee making facilities in room.
Review 19:Just about everything. The owner was very welcoming and the setting is beautifully rural. A wildlife lovers ideal setting.
Review 20:Bed not comfortable
