Reviews for Cap Riviera
Review 1:The Wifi signal was extremely slow. I could not use it inside the room. I had to go outside to be able to do it.
Review 2:Good location of the hotel next to the beach, although Saint Aygulf as a city is not very attractive. Nice breakfast.
Review 3:Wifi was a bit slow, but come on: we went there to watch the sea, not our phones! ;)
Review 4:The location is perfect, seaview is beautiful, room and beds are very comfortable. The menu, the breakfast, the food is tasty and more than enough. The owners run the place who are very nice and joyful people. We were more than satisfied with the hotel, the restaurant, the people and the prices. We recommend hiring a car at Nice and staying at this place. Monte Carlo, St. Tropez, Cannes are an hour trip from here. Many beaches and restaurants nearby, but it's better to have a car. Parking is free!
Review 5:Well kept property managed by very competent hospitality professionals who know how to make their guests feel welcomed. The restaurant offers probably the best value in the whole area.
Review 6:It would be very helpful to have small refrigerator in the room, like mini bar with cold drinks. We arrived very late at night when reception is closed and had nothing to drink. Small thing which adds a lot of comfort during hot summer with +30 outside every day.
Review 7:Good location close to the sea, good value for money.
Review 8:Bar is closed at 9pm.
Review 9:Good position between the different places Friendly owners and staff .Clean. Basic rooms basic breakfast .good evening meal. A family feel. free parking. Well priced. beach is across the road
Review 10:Wonderful location, outstanding view from our room with balcony, owners and staff friendly and helpful, owner a great cook and entertainer! This was a great, affordable gem on the French Riviera!
Review 11:Only slight downside to Seaview rooms is the closeness to the road but it is not busy at night.
Review 12:The owners Patrizia and Alain make this place. They are always around mixing with the guests and ensuring everyone is looked after. Alain's cooking is superb.
Review 13:Everything was great . Nothing to dislike .
Review 14:The hotel is on the sea road from Frejus and St Aygulf . The owner is very friendly and welcoming . We ate in the restaurant , which was very good - as was breakfast . We had a room off the courtyard , behind the hotel , with its own little terrace . Would definitely stay again .
Review 15:The hotel owner and his family, and staff, they all made us very welcome and nothing was too much of a problem for them to ensure that we had a good holiday.
Review 16:One week is not enough
Review 17:Very nice view from the room. Staff very helpfull kind and take time explaining and helping for each question. A must is to eat in the restaurant , the fish of alin is amazing. Thank you alain and patricia for this very nice week in your hotel.
Review 18:the fact that despite saying pets were not allowed, some people had pets in the room, this could have been a problem for us as we are allergic!
Review 19:location, food
Review 20:- receptionist was unnecessarily focused on detail which is not bad, but somehow missed main contents of her role - to be the best ambassador of this hotel in front of guests (she thinks that there is only her truth, "you MUST FOLLOW this and that" and is not open to listen and solve clients needs) - fortunatelly owners of this facility are professionals
Review 21:+ we confirm what others say, best duck we ever had, cousine is simply excellent here (including singing cook in positive mood :) ) + owners of hotel have personal contact with each guest and doest their business in the right way + proximity of small beach is fine benefit
Review 22:Parking is a bit tight (small parking places) but nothing to the extent parking would have not been possible. Nothing else to add...
Review 23:As a family with one little child we stayed in a garden suite which was the best choice for extra space when traveling with kids. It was quiet, good and comfortable beds, clean, good Wifi connection, A/C, caring and very nice and friendly owners... We were very happy with our stay. The beach is just across the street (a minute or 2 to walk - other hotels in that area require a car to drive to a beach). We would definitely stay at Cap Riviera again.
Review 24:nothing.
Review 25:the attitude of the owners was excellent - customer orientated, friendly but entirely professional. the food was superb and the location was excellent with the sea etc. for the hotel but it was a bit far away from shops and restaurants if, like us, you did not have a car with you.
Review 26:We had fab time in the hotel. The staff/owner is very frindly and helpful. The place is clean and has good facility, 2 min walk from a nice small beatch and 10 min walk from another one. The hotel's resturant is very good, the best that we had in the area and not expensive. What makes this place special is the friendly atmosphere and it is all due to the owner/stuff. We will come back for sure
Review 27:The hotel is located a bit far from any shops and restaurants. You need a car to go there.
Review 28:Welcoming personal. A little beach with a shower just in 50 meters from the hotel. Possibility to get egg and cheese at breakfast (extra). Good food in the own restaurant.
Review 29:We were their for 2 weeks and we missed only one thing: small fridge in the room. Rest was very good.
Review 30:We liked the view on the sea from the room. The rooms were very nice and stylish. The hotels owners: Patrizia and Alain were very kind, speaks good English and have a good sense of humor. The food is also very good, I recommend duck with caramelized apples (Duffy Duck a la Alain :D). Regards, Bruce with family :D
Review 31:We felt rather trapped and obliged to eat in the restaurant - we didn't want to drive any more & there were no alternative restaurants within walking distance. The food was good, but overpriced - only an A La Carte menu available. Wine also overpriced.
Review 32:We upgraded from our original booking (garden room) to a room with a sea view & balcony. It was worth the extra money. Easy parking.
Review 33:It's on the main road. Bar closed at 9pm
Review 34:Very clean room fantastic views. Staff very friendly
Review 35:No bad experience but a bar fridge in the room would be good
Review 36:Location
Review 37:Road noise. But had it before.
Review 38:Second visit. Still great. Owners work so hard but are so pleasant and v friendly.
Review 39:Nothing
Review 40:Eveything
Review 41:It is great family hotel with very nice people. Thank you very much,we will come back!
Review 42:Room balcony and terrace for dining with a great sea view. Alain and Patrizia's hospitality, sense of humour and lovely food.
Review 43:Too expensive for a small old room, and breakfast was poor. Internet slow.
Review 44:Quite far from the town If travelling by train and bus like us. Room was ok and clean but nothing special.
Review 45:Very nice restaurant at the hotel.
Review 46:Everything
Review 47:Great location by the beach, the owners make a point of talking to you, the food was excellent
Review 48:interior design staff location sea view
Review 49:Wifi signal slow
Review 50:Warm welcome, we had a lovely room, The proprioters very nice. great veiw of the ocean
Review 51:WiFi could be better. It works, but the connection is poor in some rooms.
Review 52:Awesome place! We enjoyed our vacation there. Owners are very friendly and helpful, they speak English very well and food is great. Everything is clean and well maintained. Very charming.
Review 53:The only drawback is that the coast road is directly in front of the hotel but we personally didn't find this too noisy.
Review 54:Alain, the owner and the chef, is a great host, very welcoming and helpful. He speaks excellent english and is always ready with advice and a joke. The rooms are beautifully decorated with much attention to detail. The reception and bar/restaurant are welcoming and full of quirky decor and lots of brochures and leaflets on the area. We didn't have chance to eat at the restaurant but the continental style breakfast was plentiful and fresh. There is a lovely beach across the road, We would love to come and stay again for longer.
Review 55:Noisy road. My second night was at a higher rate than the first night, as it was the first day of higher season prices, and it was only two nights. I had not understood it was to be twenty euros more the second night.
Review 56:Excellent warm welcome, charming hosts. Lots of information. The hosts could not be more cheerful and accommodating, friendly, lively, energetic. The hostess speaks five languages. The couple has lived all over the world.
Review 57:Owner upgraded us upon arrival for the 2 nights due to our wedding anniversary which was really appreciated. Brilliant evening meals and high quality breakfasts Good wi -fi
Review 58:Standard room is quite compact, but that was not critical for us.
Review 59:Many thanks to the family, who runs the hotel, for such hospitality and care, it is hard to meet such great management nowadays. We had a very pleasant and peaceful relaxation. The room is clean, accurately furnished, bathroom is new. In the morning I recommend to have a delicious breakfast served at the terrace with the view to the sea. The hotel has a patio with palms and flowers where is nice to relax in the middle of a day or in the evening. There is a beach just in front of the hotel, water is clean and blue, especially in early mornings when nobody is there. We traveled by car and had no problems with it, there is always place for parking in the hotel. Dinner is very delicious and beautifully served. Thanks for such positive emotions!
Review 60:On the minus side, there was no tea/coffee making facilities in therooms. I thought this would have been a pre-requisite for a registered 3star hotel? This would also have been of benefit because the bar closeda 21.00 every night, quite early for a 3 star hotel I would suggest.
Review 61:Alain and Patricia, the hotel owners, and all their staff wereexceptionally friendly, helpful, multi lingual, funny, welcoming andmade our stay that extra special. The location is excellent and the foodwhich Alain prepares is very good. All the staff compliment the facilityby providing an excellent, friendly and professional service. Overallrating - excellent.
Review 62:The owners were delightful, perfect hosts! The receptionist who greeted us spoke very good English and nothing was too much trouble for her - a good asset to the hotel. The food was cooked by the owner and was delicious. Breakfast on the terrace was a perfect start to the day.
Review 63:Very nice family-run little hotel with well designed and furnishedrooms.Very close to lovely beach. Ideally positioned for forest;countryor city tours: Breakfast and dinner are high standard. Patrizia andAlain are charming and their team is extremely friendly and efficient. And our little dogs liked the stay as well... Ritorneremo sicuramente!!!We shall come again...
Review 64:The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The suite was super comfortale and located just in front of a nice beach among many nice beaches in St-Aygulf.
Review 65:Cleanliness, food, beachside location, sea view room, air conditionedrooms, excellent hospitality and service. This is an extremely well runfamily run hotel and we would recommend it to anyone visiting thisarea of France
Review 66:The rooms were a little small but very clean.
Review 67:The location, value for money and the friendly staff and owners. The food was excellent and cooked fresh.

Review 70:Loved it all!
Review 71:There aren't enough words to describe how very much we enjoyed our stay at Cap Riveria!!! Beautiful sea view from our very comfortable and charming room, but the very best part of our stay was the warmest and most helpful hosts, Patricia and Allain. Both are just such kind and wonderful people. Motto: "Everything I do, I do it for you :-))"
Review 72:Everything! The atmosphere as if you come to your relatives. I fell inlove with this place at first sight. The design of rooms is home like, you don't feel yourself like in a hotel. Owners are vey cordial andspeaks English very well. Alan payed attention to every guest duringbreakfast and dinner, besides he also great cook, the food wasdelicious. We had room with view in the yard and liked it very much, wedidn't heard the road at all.We liked the beach and try to come backwith a child in autumn. Thank you for your heartfulness!
Review 73:Cap Rivièra is a small family run Hotel with lovely hosts and it is verygood value for money. The rooms are veryclean and tastefully decorated with a great view over the coast or thecosy courtyard. I will come back again and again. Thanks you for takingsuch good care of your guests.
Review 74:The hotel is a bit away from other eating establishments so you would need to use the car if you do not want to eat all meals in the hotel's restaurant.
Review 75:The whole experience was a joy from start to finish. The staff are so very friendly, nothing is too much trouble. We had a room with a sea view veranda, wonderful to wake up in the morning and hear the sea lapping the beach! We also had the room tastefully furnished in South Sea style. I will stay there again next year.

Review 82:The staff were great and the room was above my expectations. Great foodin the restaurant and a talented and funny chef who comes out personallyto check that everything is to your liking. The sea view was great !!!
Review 83:Only one small minus regarding not hotel but the nearest beach - it's alittle bit dirty on the sand. But the water is very clean.
Review 84:We loved everything. The room, the staff, the location, the food. Thebest location to visit the Rivera by car - close to Saint-Tropez as toCannes / Nice. A lot of thanks for the pleasant days!
Review 85:Cute french tahitian theme throughout the rooms, and we had a sea viewwhich was lovely. Unfortunately it stormed during our stay but I imaginethat when seas were calmer it should be so gorgeous. We paid 99 eurowhich I think is a good value for the money in this area. They have arestaurant but we did not eat there. The staff was very friendly andvery helpful. Wifi and parking was free. Breakfast costs 8 euros.
Review 86:The room was a little bit small.
Review 87:Everything. Patricia and Alain, the hosts, are really nice. The hotel isreally charming and calm, I would have liked to stay longer and enjoyresting in the patio. The breakfast was very good and we were able tohave it in the terrace in front of the sea, couldn't think of a betterway to start the day. We did not have dinner there, but the food lookeddelicious.
