Reviews for Le Fiacre

Review 1:Have stayed in many Logis and this one is overpriced in all aspects, especially with food and drink. Asked for a brandy to later discover it cost 17 Euros!

Review 2:Rooms,gardens and general facilities.

Review 3:Hotel was very difficult to find as the address was lacking in specific detail. Had to ask for directions at another hotel. Drinks were very expensive.

Review 4:Dinner was very pleasant. Room was comfortable

Review 5:The breakfast is expensive and wasteful, of the basket of bread, croissants, etc provided per couple we ate less than half.

Review 6:Friendly and efficient staff, excellent restaurant.

Review 7:Rooms a little dated

Review 8:Great Heated Pool - kids loved it Outdoors garden area beautiful, lovely afternoon sitting on the lawn with our picnic Lovely running route from the hotel into French country side Feels like you are in France and not a chain hotel

Review 9:Nothing.

Review 10:Welcoming staff , nice room , excellent food and wine. The hotel is convenient for a trip to the Loire valley and there is good parking and it is in a tranquil village and is close to the see for walks along the beach.

Review 11:Rooms rather tired, in need of refurbishment. Food good but not of the 'Fine Dining' level I remember over the past few years. Heading towards a 'Bistro' with service not quite up to its previous standard. Breakfast room rather cramped.

Review 12:Main building and garden attractive and restful. Staff, and particularly the owner very hospitable.

Review 13:Breakfast a little expensive so chose not to have it.

Review 14:Very welcoming, staff friendly. Rooms lovely, good size. Pool area clean and pool was heated, towels and sun loungers free. Wifi in rooms very quick internet speed. Tea & coffee in rooms. would go again.

Review 15:Just be aware that the restaurant and bar close early and this is in a rural setting, so its a car drive to find food if you arrive later than 9pm.

Review 16:a peaceful setting and a welcome stop on our way to Brittany, just an hour away from Calais. Good space in the rooms and comfortable beds. Very welcoming.

Review 17:English was a very much second language. Once we found the English speaking owner, whom was at hand nearly all the time, we found any issues, ( which were few), were sorted out straight away.

Review 18:The dinners and breakfast were top class culinary delights. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. The pool was a definite plus, and very clean everyday, which we used daily. The gardens were well cared for and the whole place very relaxing and quiet. We would like to say the proprietor and his wife were a delight to know, and were constantly present and there to help. We would both highly recommend this hotel.

Review 19:The dinner menu was not very extensive and one of us with food allergies struggled badly to find something suitable - ut the preparation was excellent.

Review 20:It was a pretty location and a good conversion in the bedroom wing (if a bit characterless).

Review 21:Although the wifi itself worked fine the connection to the internet was intermittent ( a very small point which shows how little there was to criticise)

Review 22:Lovely quiet location and tranquil ambience. Tasteful decor and character buildings ( interior and exterior). Outstandingly attractive gardens. Friendly helpful staff.

Review 23:rural nature

Review 24:Location, parking individual accomodation

Review 25:Wine choice in restaurant limited and not good value.

Review 26:Very pleasant location. Lovely gardens. Good restaurant. Friendly staff.

Review 27:Pool. Large rooms nice and bright. Location. Near supermarket. Gardens.

Review 28:ondermaatse kwaliteit van het bereide diner; geen goede organisatie voor het op-en afruimen in het restaurant.

Review 29:Excellent Restaurant Good Wine List

Review 30:very clean, and very peaceful with a swim

Review 31:This was indeed a "Hotel du Charme" Despite our amateur French we were made welcome. Lovely gardens. Good food.

Review 32:Peaceful, welcoming

Review 33:this hotel was very nice the room we had was very clean and spacious in a nice country side location but only 20 minutes from nearest town.

Review 34:Slightly expensive evening meal

Review 35:Quiet location but near autoroute. Fresh cooked eggs at breakfast

Review 36:The breakfast facilities-too cramped

Review 37:The bedroom was spacious, comfortable and very quiet

Review 38:the charme of it

Review 39:Een mooi hotel rustig gelegen, kamer heel mooi !

Review 40:Nothing. (even the cows in the field next to the car park were friendly!)

Review 41:Excellent Staff. Good food and service at Dinner Wonderful calm garden environment Very organised but in a discrete manner Clean comfortable rooms and well equipped. Simple but excellent breakfast with great croissants.

Review 42:None!

Review 43:What a delightful find. An excellent hotel. Super facilities grouped around a central open area. Very friendly and helpful staff. Most enjoyable meal. Highly recommended.

Review 44:The booking process with your website was not good, all the referencesto my booking said 4 people & yet when we got there it was only for2 - not good afer a long day travelling!

Review 45:Hotel was great but the food was truly excellent! The owner waswonderful & sorted our the confusion over the booking for which weare very grateful!

Review 46:Quend did not have the facilities of a small town- one has to travel further afield for the same.

Review 47:The friendliness of the staff. The clean environment in the countryside.

Review 48:We have stayed there before and loved the swimming pool but unfortunately this stay the weather was not on our side and therefore we could not use the pool. Perhaps another time as we will return.

Review 49:The weather was poor!

Review 50:We were late arriving due to problems in the chunnel but or reception was considerate and kind and gave a very good impression. The "late" meal was excellent.

Review 51:The room price was reasonable, but we felt that although the food wasvery good the menu prices were a little high. The wine list especiallyhad little below 30 euros a bottle.

Review 52:Very pretty building and attractive grounds that were very wellmaintained. A lovely peaceful spot, and a good place to explore the areafrom, although we were only there one night. The hotel staff were verywelcoming and helpful. The restaurant was full (a good sign!) but theservice was still very good.

Review 53:The wine list could include a greater choice at the lower end of their price scale.

Review 54:Quite, peaceful & very relaxing, good parking, good central location for the Somme bay region, great a la carte menu with well prepared & presented food, a lovely outdoor pool perfect after a full day's walking. Friendly staff.

Review 55:It felt just a bit formal. A cheaper menu would have been welcome, particularly on the Sunday night when the only option unless a la cartewas a 36 euro menu or higher. Wine and drinks also very expensive, butperhaps they are in France these days.

Review 56:As I expected from the pictures. Very nice garden and rooms a good sizetoo. A good 3 star hotel. Good cooking. Very little/no English spokenwhich made it feel very French!

Review 57:Menu was limited and didn't suit 2 of the party. Crowded breakfast room .

Review 58:the size of the rooms , a very pretty garden , plenty of parking .
