Review 1：the floodlights all night. In stead of enjoying the fresh calm air the blends need to be close because of the lighting. I am not going to want to spend a night on a soccer pit in my holiday.

Review 5：Where do I start! The reception girl was less than welcoming when we arrived and just told us to sit and wait. The room was fine but you get no room service during the stay! What supposedly four star hotel does not make the beds or clean the bathroom? The promotional photos on the website are lovely but don't think you can swim in that pool unless you pay 28 euros a day! We tried the fitness room but it only has three bits of equipment and the treadmill was broken. The outdoor swimming pool is minute. The restaurant is fine but breakfast is 18 euros. The evening meal was good but it ought to be at 100 euros for a couple! One evening and one breakfast we had an uncontrolled dog wandering about the restaurant with its feet on the tables which was very unpleasant but the staff made no effort to get the owner to control it. We felt the whole place was not well thought through and we would not return or recommend it to anyone.

Review 12：Very friendly staff, nice accomodation. We got a higher category room (actually a small appartment with terrace) than we booked without paying extra. It's all very tidy and fits into the surroundings.

Review 13：For a 4 person cottage costing Euro 285 per night, you would normally not expect that it was only cleaned every third day. In addition, the restaurant, which is a franchise, is very good, however very expensive. For breakfast they charge E 18 for an adult, and E 12 for children, of any age (Mine were four, so it was an expensive roll!) They also wanted to charge extra for a boiled egg, as they only have prepared scrambled eggs. The pool is very small, and if you go to the pool that is shown on the website, then there is an additional charge of E 28 per person. I think this "hotel" needs to decide whether it is a spa hotel, or a family self catering hotel. It should then charge accordingly and have the appropriate facilities.

Review 15：We paid a lot of money to stay here,and expected a decent pool to swim in at least. The pool shown in the photograph is NOT available unless you pay 28 euros for a half day access to the spa. Property cleaned every 3 DAYS- unbelievable I was told to empty my own rubbish bin !!! In a 4 star resort!!! Parking is 12 euros a day, bins around the tiny free accesss pool with its 2 sun shades -2 got broken in a storm and not replaced- were not emptied, grounds still being developed, you are undwer the impression that you are close to a beach just through the forest-never found it, think it was a fantasy- you are 12 miles from cap ferret, a long drive in traffic, so if you think you are coming to a spa hotel think again- on top of expensive rooms you then have to pay to park your car and use the spa. not happy.

Review 25：There's probably not enough space here for me to mention everything I didn't like. The bottom line is that this "resort" is grossly overpriced -- but even if they charged 75% less I would still be dissatisfied! The cleaning staff came every three days to mop through the floor, clean the toilet, bring new towels and wash the sink. The first time they vacuumed first, so most of the sand and dirt did get removed. The second time they just wiped over the floor with a damp mop, which didn't do anything to remove the sand. They didn't change the sheets once in 8 days. The bed was so uncomfortably hard I had to get them to bring something to put on top of the mattress. At first they brought a few blankets, but that didn't really help much. We had cots for our sons in the living room, so I had them bring a foam mattress from a cot put that on top of the mattress on our bed, but even with that the bed was barely tolerable. The indoor pool is not included in the price: you have to pay an additional 28€ per person for four hours worth of access to the indoor pool, whirlpool, and sauna! But children aren't allowed into the spa area anyway, so my children wouldn't have been allowed to use the indoor pool even for an additional fee. For the amount of money they charge for the room, it's totally unacceptable for them to charge additionally for the indoor pool, whirlpool and sauna! The towels stank so badly (incomplete drying and poor storage?) that even from 3-4 feet away I could smell them. And it was an extremely unpleasant smell! Compared to other resorts I've been to, the towels were noticeably cheap, as well, and a notice in the room specifically forbade using them in the pool area. The table in the dining area was so cheaply made that both my son and I cut ourselves while trying to cut our baguettes because the table wobbled so much.

Review 32：I liked the resort. My friend and I stayed three nights with our 9 yearold sons and it was a great environment for families. The two differentpools were great idea and the gated surrounding areas were beautiful andleft room for the children to explore in a safe environment. Kitchen waswell equipped and the 2 bedroom unit we stayed in was tastefully minimalin its design. The outdoor patio was very nice for informal dinners nextto the pine forest.

Review 36：Decor lovely but it's been finished in a hurry so the quality of finish, particularly the joinery in some instances was poor. The kitchen area was also brand new but however size wise was small - no drainer, no space for the kettle or work area so used the dining table for this. Hob only no oven. Great fridge freezer. No chopping block, or cutting knives. Poor quality coffee machine. No washing machine or provision outside to dry clothes. Bathrooms great - brand new, walk-in shower and lovely finish. In bedrooms no drawers which was a bit inconvenient as most holiday clothes need to go in drawer space, however, thd bathroom units provided drawers so we used those. Wi if coverage did not stretch to our property on the boundary fringe. We had cottage for 6. Sofa only seats 2, not too much of an issue for us as we we were out all day. You are not walking distance to the sea from here but the location is good. Take bikes or hire them as there is a superb network of cycle ways which can get you to the beach - best beaches are all along the Atlantic coast, there's also some tiny beaches along the very picturesque basin side villages - canon, herbe, pirillain

Review 38：The prices were way too high.. like rip off prices for food and spa services, indoor pool use etc.. work was being done to the floor outside 1 metre from our door in our patio area around mid day on our 1st day.. I complained but only got the response that it would be taken up with the manager, heard nothing back after.. the empty salt container had glass in it, there was no bin, there was no washing utensils, just a dish washer that diddnt work, the cleaning lady also put the dish washing tablet in the dishwasher with its plastic cover still on, i went to front desk to ask if they had a sponge so I could wash up, so we could cook dinner and eat, they said they didn't have a sponge in the whole hotel, even the kitchen and we would have to wait for the supermarket to open the next day... they were polite but annoyingly unhelpful.. (we were being polite and reasonable) was far too over priced and so many little unfinished touches like doors not painted, dodgy sounding noises when activating the electrics via door key, random work men walking past with tools and barrels all day etc...

Review 40：Nice cabins amongst the pine forest. Calm, quiet location. A brand new property, this will be great for families in a few years time once the vegeation has grown and each terrace has a bit more privacy. Family pool quite basic. Balneo is good. Quite far from the beach.

Review 41：Not really a 4 star hotel - except for the prices. Room was expensive but did not include any extras - charges for parking, sauna and spa area, no fridge/mini bar, one small pool with only about 15 beds for the whole complex. When we complained we were told there was another pool but as that was part of the spa it would cost EUR 28 for a half day !! Also breakfast was a ridiculous price - EUR 18 for a buffet that did not include any hot food, when we asked for eggs we were told no problem and then afterwards charged an extra EUR 6 for two fried eggs !! As the restaurant seems to be a separate franchise there was no co-ordination and we had to pay separately at check out which meant queuing up twice and then finding the hotel trying to charge us for breakfast after having already paid the restaurant and to top it all the restaurant chasing us for extra days breakfast that we did not have - after the eggs episode we had breakfast outside other days - unfortunately our only bad experience in a weeks touring the area.

They dont inform us about private parking. They havent dayly clening service for us.
