Reviews for Demeure Les Aiglons

Review 1:No credit cards accepted - I knew this when I booked, but it added complexity to my international trip to have to buy and carry around several hundred Euro in cash.

Review 2:I found the B&B while looking for a comfortable place to stay for 4 nights for a training course for work. My room (the Hortense room) was huge and comfortable during my stay - could easily sleep a small family. The house is in a quiet neighborhood (my room faced the street but no street noise woke me up), and the house itself was very quiet whenever I was in (I was out from about 7:30AM to 6PM every day). Short walk to the chateau and restaurants. The hosts are very welcoming and put on a nice continental breakfast. Would definitely recommend to business or vacation travelers.

Review 3:No air conditioning.

Review 4:Spacious room, beautifully appointed shower room and separate toilet. Just a short walk to the Chateau and wide selection of restaurants..

Review 5:Room overlooking the street a little noisy if you need to leave the window at night.

Review 6:B&B de charme, lovingly decorated, excellent breakfast and delightful hostess.

Review 7:Room rate posted at door of room was €110, but booking.com rate was €120. Looks like by using booking.com we were penalised.

Review 8:Nice homely atmosphere. Owner run and she makes your stay extremely pleasant.

Review 9:nothing at all

Review 10:The location of Demeure Les Aiglons was absolutely perfect--not right in the middle of town (that would have been too noisy) but right at the edge only 2 blocks from the chateau. The room was large with a comfy bed and a beautiful modern bathroom with a fabulous shower! The hosts Perrine and George were super helpful and so easy to talk with. They are great travelers themselves, so they know how to treat fellow travelers.

Review 11:Our son had a great time playing with the owners 2 young children. The room was beautiful, full of old charm, yet all the modern conveniences you could ever want. The owners were friendly and very helpful and accommodating.

Review 12:The ONLY thing I could possibly pick on is the bed is a wonderful super king :) and the duvet was not big enough... so my husband and I kept fighting for the duvet all night!

Review 13:HIGHLY recommended! George, his family and his home are lovely! We honestly felt like we were in our own country home! We went to watch my God Daughter perform in a school play nearby. We used our studio as a base to have champagne before the show and George very kindly brought us 6 champagne glasses.

Review 14:We were able to park in the street as it is free on Mondays, but parking in the area could be expensive.

Review 15:George was extremely helpful and welcoming. The decor throughout is modern with classic french touches and very high quality. The bed was huge, as was the bedroom and all extremely comfortable. The best night's sleep for a long time!

Review 16:Warm, welcoming and helpful owners. Great breakfast. Location perfect for visiting chateau. Parking is free on Sunday and Monday which were the days we were there. Tina M., Denver, Colorado

Review 17:Slightly cold during the night, although the extra duvet helped. The wifi was really slow but apparently that was due to a temporary breakdown. Other than that, nothing of real importance to complain about.

Review 18:Large, quiet and well equipped room, including self-catering. It's only a very short walk to the palace and the city centre. The owner is exceedingly nice and warm, the breakfast quite good and in a pleasant atmosphere.

Review 19:The top room was fantastic and spacious , well furnished with lots of character . The owners helped us out massively as we had child medical issue with toddler . Good vibe to the whole town and accommodation . We will be back

Review 20:The family that owns the bed and breakfast are very nice. We felt very welcomed. The breakfast consisted of many various choices and the room was nice and stylish. We definitely will consider to come back here again.

Review 21:The road in front of the house was very noisy with frequent traffic and buses. The windows were not soundproof. Perhaps the rooms not facing the road would be more quiet.

Review 22:The room (Hortense) was stylishly decorated with modern comforts. The house was very close to the main Fontainbleau sites including the chateau and restaurants. The owners were very friendly and helpful.

Review 23:The only thing that I didn't like was that it was hard to see from the car. I had to get out and look for the door, because the address is not visible due to renovations.

Review 24:The location was prime in the restaurant district, walking distance to everything. Stores, the market, the castle, restaurants and access to the highway. The room was beautifully decorated like a sleek Parisian apartment. The furnishings were modern as well as the facilities. The staff was wonderful! They are a young family. They presented a lovely breakfast for us and gave us tips on where to dine. They allowed us to use their parking slot so that we didn't have to pay for parking.

Review 25:Nothing. This chambre d'hote is newly opened and by the time reviewed, will be largely completed. There is no "downside" other than being hard to find (with no signs yet posted). Parking could be a problem, but there appears to be public parking (for a charge) fairly close, once luggage is unloaded.

Review 26:Everything. We can't wait to return and see the final touches now currently being completed. A lovely, large back yard with fountain is waiting! Good French breakfast, comfortable bed, simple and tasteful all around. VERY close to village center. 2 rooms include kitchenettes. Parking in front. Great value. Pets permitted. One of those places selfishly hard to recommend because once discovered, they will always be filled.

Review 27:Only a squeaky toilet door

Review 28:Location ideal for chateau and restaurants

Review 29:Very comfy bed with fresh smelling bed linen, spacious bedroom and beautifully decorated. Very clean! The owners are very friendly.

Review 30:Nothing

Review 31:The placement, the friendliness of the hostess, the beautiful, tasty, modern and tasty decoration. The great natural petit dejeuner.

Review 32:It's cozy, not far to the chateau, and the breakfast is delicious. The hostess is hospitable.

Review 33:nothing

Review 34:everything, the owners were charming and very welcoming.

Review 35:The size and decoration of the rooms. Very friendly welcome. Closest place to INSEAD.

Review 36:staff is very friendly and kind. Walking distance to the downtown, close to the Chateau.

Review 37:Perfect location, close to the chateau and to INSEAD. Nice atmosphere, spacious room.

Review 38:It will be even better once the renovations are done

Review 39:Everything
