Review 1：The room was some distance from the house and for that price would expect chateau type bedroom in the main property. Rather over attentive staff at times.

Review 4：Beautiful old Manor House in acres and acres of wood land. Very clean,staff excellent. The setting for breakfast outside on the terrace was stunning. The breakfast was terrific,everything you could wish for.

Review 5：Sommelier Frank was a little snooty and condescending. Appetizers were well presented but lacked flavor. This is a small matter which would not prevent us from returning.

Review 7：The grounds of the hotel were just wonderful. Lots of space and lovely flowers and trees. Also the perfect location. Having a little dog, the grounds were superb and a big plus. Our room was very comfortable and cosy.

Review 8：The restaurant is closed on Mondays for dinner so be aware. (we knew this but unfortunately Monday was the only available date for this chateau) Breakfast is also pricey

Review 19：We are in love with central air conditioning and would love to see/feel more of that at this lovely location. Throwing the windows open is nice for a breeze, but after a good rainstorm it does tend to bring out flying insects which is a drawback forcing one to have to close the windows.

Review 20：The courteous staff were a pleasure to be around. We arrived nearly at midnight, and the night manager greeted us with a smile, was increadibly patient, helpful, and helped us to our room with dispatch. He even recommended activities for the following day that we never would have known about if he had not suggested them. Everything was superb. The location was also a bonus; short drive to Amboise...which we loved!

Review 22：Fabulous setting. Michelin star restaurant within. Exceptional staff, nothing too much trouble. We had a suite, very spacious. Beautiful outlook onto glorious gardens. Lovely bathroom with comfortable bath, separate shower, separate w.c.

Review 23：Price of dinner very high. Not much shopping or dining within 15 minutes of hotel. Onzain is very small. Blood or Amboise are much larger if you need to be close to things.
