Reviews for Côté Sable

Review 1:Mattress a little firm. Bar could have stayed open longer.

Review 2:Staff were lovely. Breakfast brilliant. Great location. room was excellent and quiet and great view More French so great escape from the usual.

Review 3:I don't have any bad comments to make

Review 4:Breakfast was excellent. Great quality and variety. Bike hire and golf buggies available at the hotel were also a great bonus, this is a beautiful place perfect for exploring by bicycle.

Review 5:Very friendly and helpful personnel, hotel is located in a nice area nearby a beach. Various restaurants available in walking distance for the hotel. Rooms are spacious.

Review 6:Maybe the bed was a bit too soft for my taste.

Review 7:The hotel's location is just perfect - halfway between the jetty and the neighbourhood with the oyster bars. The staff was very polite and friendly and the hotel facilities are very reasonable.

Review 8:Nothing

Review 9:Everything... Great location, nice small building with a cosy feel, comfort, friendliness of staff, integrated Clarins SPA and free access to Hammam, perfect breakfast, etc. Overall feeling like home

Review 10:Poorly functioning shower. Lack of restaurant. Disappearance of lounge facility without warning. 'Spa' = a non-functioning small steam room!

Review 11:Location, comfort and overall appearance. Good breakfast

Review 12:bed was very uncomfortable. Evening bar staff were extremely unwelcoming and unhelpful. Bar shut at 8 in the evening even for residents. very bizarre . rather expensive on the whole.

Review 13:decor was good. breakfast was very good. location was good.

Review 14:The location, next to the beach, and fabulous restaurants.

Review 15:A poor room. At that price I expect a bedside table and I do not expect a slippery shower!

Review 16:Charming helpful staff.

Review 17:Great location in Cap Ferret.

Review 18:Music in every public area.

Review 19:The location and the weather!

Review 20:View from rear room quite poor, go for sea-view if you can. Tiny milk jug for breakfast cereals.

Review 21:Rooms are very nice indeed

Review 22:Good location and yet very quiet

Review 23:see above

Review 28:location

Review 29:Location

Review 30:Very quirky and attractive room - named 'Oscar Wilde'. Amazingly comfortable bed! Great location overlooking the bay. Lovely breakfast in a lovely breakfast room.

Review 31:The staff were excellent, the view was great, and the slight woman with the pony tail hair was wonderful. We could not have asked for anything to have been better.

Review 32:Our room nr 12 had a strange moldy smell. We had to open the windows not to smell it. The Hotel is expensive for a 4 star. Wifi not convenient, not easy to use.

Review 33:The location. The service.

Review 34:There wasn't a lift to the first floor and the spiral staircase could be a problem for anyone with mobility difficulties. There were other rooms which were much easier to access, so you could speak with the hotel before booking.

Review 35:Beautiful boutique hotel with a great location. Close to all local shops, cafes, 2 minutes from daily local market and all facilities of Cap Ferret. Lovely outside seating area for drinks and food to sit and enjoy the sunshine across from the beach. Staff very friendly, nothing was too much trouble, they even printed our boarding passes for the return flight. Can genuinely recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again.

Review 36:It is overpriced. The "spa" aspect amounts to facials andmassages for which one of course has to pay extra. Beach towels can berented for 5 euros. Petit dejeuner is 20 euros per person, butthankfully it is not required. The guest rooms are not particularlyspacious. The internet begins at 8:00 A.M. the morning of one'sarrival (even though check-in is at 3:00 or so) and ends midnight beforethe morning of checking out. It is also very inconvenient to use.

Review 37:The location is quite beautiful, as are the rooms. We very much likedthe fact that it is quiet. The balcony for our room was lovely.

Review 38:I was very unhappy with the attitude of the afternoon receptionist - she has clearly not grasped the concept of 'service' required in a 4**** hotel. Unfriendly, at best neutral, patronising and making guests feel like beggars is not what I expect from any hotel, let alone a house with these stars. When we booked the accommodation in February, booking.com informed us that breakfast is set at EUR14.50/pers and access to Hammam is free. 7 months later the reality is as follows: EUR20.00/pers for breakfast (!), Hammam with a 25% discount. Quite a steep increase within just a few months, I'd rather call it close to rip-off. These two reasons will make borh my wife and me not return to this hotel!

Review 39:A wonderful location and beautifully decorated rooms with lots of wood! a private balcony added to the pleasure!

Review 40:breakfast was expensive for what it was. breakfast buffet could be better.

Review 41:staff were so friendly, rooms lovely and clean, great location we really enjoyed our stay and would definetly go again.

Review 42:The only small thing I would inform is that the breakfast is soexpensive and as the hotel does not have a proper kitchen it isonly yoghurt, fruit and croissants which is fine but not for 20euros per person.

Review 43:This boutique hotel is in the best location for Cap Ferret. Directlyacross the road is the bay which during medium tide you can sit on theyellow sand and swim in the water. It is beautifully decorated and has the essence of french country meets beach. It smells like a spa. The staff are very friendly and speak English which is often a challenge in France. The hotel feels like a five star hotel without the stuffy attitude. I had a massage which was professional and relaxing. Parking was available.

Review 44:A bar that was locked at 9pm although would be opened but not after 10pm. Having to pay an extra 10 euro's a day for parking - this should be absorbed in the cost of the room.

Review 45:Fantastic location. Beautifully appointed room. Very friendly and helpful staff. Luxury bedlinen.

Review 46:There is no any door dividing bathroom from the bedroom. No staff is very friendly, But nobody says a word in English.

Review 53:Great location, lovely and friendly staff

Review 54:Great position near restaurants and the beach. Friendly staff.

Review 55:SPA is very good. Annick makes the best massage by "Clarins"! Thank you!

Review 56:Leg of english, no door between bathroom and bedroom

Review 57:Spa specialist Anik is exvellent professional

Review 58:It was hot in the room, but maybe we couldn't work out thethermostat properly.

Review 59:It was clean, friendly, relaxing, great situation.
