Review 1：Tiny rooms with outside entrances. A long way to the heart of town.

Review 2：Very reasonably priced. New facility, so still in good shape. We arrived late and the hotel had arranged for key pickup. A nice touch.

Review 4：The woman who checked us in was friendly and helpful with a great smile and although she did not speak English she took us right to our room and showed us the keypad system. Very helpful. While this still is a very basic budget chain it seemed a bit roomier than some. It was very quiet. Clean

Review 6：Hotel rooms modern, clean and everything worked. Location is a bit out of Sarlat (5 minute drive to outskirts) but restaurant across the road was very good (didn't try the bowling alley). Parking a benefit as Sarlat a bit crowded.

Review 7：Non smoking facility!!!! I think not, paid for 2 nights barely could stay 1!!! Had to leave as room was like an ashtray, asthma couldn't cope. No refund, steer clear.

Review 13：This is a motel - a very good, comfortable motel. Rooms are small but very comfortable. Breakfast is okay and staff are excellent. Fabulous restaurant (not the bowling alley!) across the road.

Review 14：I feel that the hotel could benifit from having staff on duty for longer during the day and evening, to help travellers with any questions they may have. Luckily there is a restaurant extremly close to the hotel, otherwise one would need to drive some distance to find something to eat. Very difficult if one is new to the area and on holiday. The hotel is very difficult to find, and would benifit from having a larger, illuminated sign on the road to aid location. I personally drove past the hotel twice before finding it.

Review 15：Extremly suitable venue for exploring the area. Clean and comfy rooms, friendly staff and very nice location.

Review 16：The first night we could not sleep because previous guests must have misprogrammed the remote control of the aircon. Every 10 mins the alarm went on the whole night. It was pure horror. The night after they simply removed the remote control!, so no aircon, we were forced to sleep with the window open on a public parking...I would have expected a refund for the 1st night, but they said it was not their fault. It was not ours either. The key did not work the 2nd and the 3rd night, Never again, sorry

Review 18：We stayed for 2 nights and asked for a light to be replaced - never replaced. Returned and stayed 1 more night and although we had requested a non-smoking room the room smelled badly of cigarette smoke.

Review 25：We enjoyed our stay last year and decided we would make a detour and return. We were noT disappointed. I am disabled, and had a huge room, which would take my scooter, and even a restroom. Supper at bowling alley also super.

Review 28：A very clean and welcoming hotel, the staff were very helpfull. it is situated a couple of minutes drive from the city centre and is an excellent base for touring around the dordogne valley and chateaus.

Review 82：We have stayed at at this hotel/motel 3 times now. There is ample parking, the wi-fi is free and it works and Marianne on the front desk is exceptional. The rooms are not large but there is a good sized bed and the bathroom is roomy enough with a proper stand up shower. A car necessary to go to Sarlat which is only about 7 minutes away.

Review 85：Double rooms are small when staying for several nights with two people with a large suitcase each. If going again, we might consider paying the approx €15 extra per room per night for a family room to have somewhere to put suitcases. Really need a car to get to town.

Review 87：Albizia Hotel is NOT a Hotel, its a Motel and is only suitable for 1 night stays. Its a series of blocks of rooms, very small, spartan and very damp. BUT the shower was good, it was clean and the bed comfortable.We would not recommend it to anyone other than people with children who are happy to eat in the bowling park which is very noisy.

Review 88：I had the most difficulty finding this accom out of the 80 or so I havestayed in 20+ countries. The absence of an address or gps definablelocation is the cause! The advice from the tourist info in Sarlat, andthe 4 hotels/shops I asked was subjective. I phone the hotel 3 timesand was left on hold each due to an absence of English language skills;so 2 hours to findable hotel! Solutions: add "1 kM" after thearrow on the 1 sign between Sarlat and hotel. Add a second sign where uturn off d704. Have some basic English skills on the phone contact.

It is located near a main road north of Sarlet and it takes about 15 minutes drive to Sarlet. It is difficult to park a car in the town. So it is good to have free parking in this motel. It is convenient to drive to visit the areas around Sarlet.

It was convenient not to have to drive somewhere for dinner as the hotel itself is in the middle of the countryside. Review 113：With simple rustic-modern architecture, close-by restaurant, easy parking, and its location out of town, the Albizia Hotel felt a lot like an American resort, especially after several nights in charming but cramped and noisy in-town hotels. Our Albizia room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and breakfast was a tasty bargain compared to that in city hotels. For us, it was easy to find, too, and the perfect location for visiting the magnificently painted prehistoric caves nearby. But the highlight was the owner, whose perfect English and welcoming manner made us feel very much at home. When I asked her how to make a phone call to our car rental company about a problem we were experiencing with the clutch, she said "Shall I take a look at it for you? If I can't get it to work I'll make the call for you." She DID get it to work, but made it look hard enough that we didn't feel foolish for not figuring it out ourselves!
