Reviews for Séjours & Affaires Poitiers Lamartine

Review 1:No air conditioning and it was a VERY hot night - but we wouldn't expect air con for the price we paid.

Review 2:Really friendly and helpful guy on reception. Good self-catering facilities. Extremely good value.

Review 3:The apartment was spacious with excellent facilities. Although the hotel is in a busy part of town it was quiet inside because of good double glazing. Very good access to city centre.

Review 4:shower was cold.first day it was lukewarm, other days just plain cold. Reception was not there (weekend), so we couldn't mention it. If they were there (1st day) very nice and helpfull.

Review 5:It was a quite spacious room, there was a facillity to cook (to electric plates) not much equipment to cook however. We didn't like to cook anyways, just ate out. The city is lovely. The hotel is, besides the shower good. It's safe and clean. 'The hotel is close to the trainstation (no noise) so if you travel by train you have to walk aprox. 5 minutes. Note: If you walk towards the city you'll have to climb stairs, which can be hard on elderly people.

Review 6:Bed could be better Otherwise nothing

Review 7:Very clean, has all you need for self catering and lots of hot water.. Bed not so good..was a sofa bed,not so comfy and pillows very small. Very handy to train stn.5min walk,We would definately stay here again.

Review 22:The shower curtain and blankets had seen better days. No curtains on net?

Review 23:Friendly staff who were helpful and enabled us to have a delightful stay. Great hotel for a few days in Poitiers due to central location near the train station and only a walk up the hill to the main square.

Review 24:the noise of the passing trough train as the hotel is near the station, during the day you don't pay that much attention but at night the noise is very intense and will for sure disturb you as it did for me for two nights

Review 25:the location is fantastic,f ew minutes from the train station, not far from the centre of Poitiers

Review 26:I think the room could have been tidied up in the daytime whilst I was out.

Review 27:I thought that the girl in the restaurant at breakfast time was extremely helpful and friendly.

Review 28:The whole place smelt of cigarettes. It appeared to be full of noisy students and ladies of the night who were equally loud . . There is no air conditioning and when you open the windows to get some fresh air the busy TGV line becomes apparent . The sofa bed was very uncomfortable. The kitchen was very basic, no kettle, no coffee maker, no wine glasses, no cereal bowls, all nicked probably. Do not visit this hotel .

Review 29:It takes pets.

Review 30:I did not like the fact that the hotel closes at 8 pm. Also, the officesent an email to warn me just one day before, so that when I arrived, Istayed outside the hotel for a while. But I was Lucky because I met aresident guy that helps the office and could get in the my room. Arecommend that the hotel office warn the guest by email just afterbooking the hotel.

Review 31:The reception was closed on Easter Monday and I had to stay in another hotel for the night as there was noone there to give me my room key. This should have been brought to my attention before i booked it.

Review 32:The receptionists went out of their way to help me
