Review 1：The walk back from the harbour. Not to far but up hill. It would have been good to have coffee and tea making facilities.

Review 4：The hotel is well situated; an easy walk to the harbour & beach, but far enough away to be quiet at night. The staff are excellent and very helpful. We had a nice balcony where we could dry our laundry and enjoy a glass of wine. We would stay here again.

Review 5：Excellent staff. A short walk to the main town. Our room was quiet (even though it was just off the lobby & overlooking the parking lot). Comfortable beds & pillows. The patio was nicely fenced & had tasteful vegetation, so it didn't feel like we were on the parking lot.

Review 20：Fabulous view of the water from the balcony. Very friendly, helpful staff. Short walk into town. Free parking. Quiet location and small but nice pool. We had a triple room which had a loft with a double bed and a pull out couch for our daughter on the main level. The room was a bit small with the bed pulled out. We only stayed for one night so it was perfect for us.

Review 21：The hotel was old, dilapidated, and very over priced, even in high season. The furniture and the beds were old (not to mention there was a weird stain on our duvet), and the walls were very thin. There were virtually no products other than an all-in-one soap dispenser in the bathroom. The hairdryer is weak - the vacuum pipe variety. As a whole, it just didn't feel right. We left early for a much better place for less money, right across from the beach.

Review 30：we lived on the second floor so the trees blocked the sea view a bit. But the hotel location is very nice. The terminal of the bus M8 from Marseille to Cassis is right in front of the hotel so it is very convenient to everywhere. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was very clean and spacious. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom and toilet were seperate and the bathroom was big. Wifi was good.

Review 41：We had a quiet room which showed to the rear. The frontside may have a beautiful view but has the disadvantage that a busy street leads by the hotel with day and night traffic. In particular motorbikes are outrageously loud in France and can be heard from miles away, let alone from a street in front.

Review 42：This is a typical three-star-hotel which has everything you need when you are on vacation. The personnel is very friendly. The room which we had was clean, although a bit small. The pool area is remarkably big, suited for relaxing and shows good taste. Prices are ok but not cheap. For softdrinks they are over the top.

Review 45：Although the room was fairly satisfactory, we would have preferred one further away from the elevator and on an upper floor with a view rather than one looking at the back driveway. The cost of the room was high for what we got. We understand, however, that since we only stayed a single night, it could have had a bearing on our room assignment. We would probably return to Royal Cottage if planning to stay longer - as long as we were able to get a better room.

Review 47：While at the pool, the hotel requires you to buy food from the pool "restaurant". We would have purchased off the menu if items were fresh. Per-packaged microwaved foods were the only items offered. We had to return to our room to have a lunch of our own snacks and drinks.
