Review 2：Location, friendly staff who spoke English well and indulged me in trying my horrible French, very clean rooms, nice little breakfast buffet, free internet, easy parking.

Review 8：Everything went well. The staff is really helpfull, he cleaning was perfect, the location of the hotel is wonderfull, near to everything that matters.
Review 9：Do NOT book this hotel if you want to be treated as a guest! When we returned to our room at night a lot of little flies and mosquitoes had entered the room and were crawling on the walls and ceiling. When we called the night porter he came to our room carrying a feather broom with which he tried to sweep the bugs away. When we suggested they'd give us another room, he said he had to check if any were free. After 5 minutes he called back saying that he regretted that the hotel was fully booked, while it was glaringly obvious that it wasn't. But the real trouble had yet to come when we wanted to check out the following morning. First my Mastercard was refused by the terminal. The receptionist (who only understood french!) blamed my card while it was working fine before (and after). Next my wife's Visa card was also refused, and again the blame was placed on our card. The same happened with a Maestro bank card, and still they refused to admit that their terminal or connection was broken. Instead of offering an elegant solution the hotel manager forced us to pay in cash. After we had turned our wallets upside down we still we're 30 cents short. The manager then had the insolence to threaten with the police if we didn't pay up to the last cent. Is this the hospitality to expect from a 4 star hotel? A female employee was visibly embarrased by her boss' behaviour and actually came to the garage just as we were finally leaving to apologize and telling us that not all French are like this!!

Review 45：This is an excellent modern hotel, located in a quiet street but close to the centre of Belfort. The reception staff were very pleasant, and our air-conditioned room was clean, cool (on a hot day!) and well-equipped. Parking in the basement below the hotel is straightforward, and there is a lift to all floors from there. The breakfast provided a good range of choices and was good. Overall, a perfect place for staying in Belfort.
