Reviews for Best Western Hôtel De La Bourse

Review 1:I asked for a quiet room and were place next to the main stairs and elevator. Below was a tour bus and they left very early and not quietly. Also, the shower door did not close.

Review 2:The location was great. Within walking distance of town center.

Review 3:The hotel is in a rundown area of Mulhouse. No hotel parking. Rooms are old and tired (1970's décor and fittings).

Review 4:value for money. Friendly staff.

Review 5:Breakfast (which we didn't have) was expensive at €11 per head. Floor in the room felt like it needed a good clean - corridors looked tired and in need of attention. No evening meal available.

Review 6:Location , close to town centre. Street parking available outside - free from 1900 to 0900.

Review 7:Nothing

Review 8:Great location near to the railway station & a short walk into the town centre. Very comfortable bed & good shower room. Very quiet outside. Good décor & facilities.

Review 9:Breakfast was a bit basic, but we would still choose this hotel again.

Review 10:Clean, nice room with good beds and excellent silent airco. Friendly personnel. Perfect location to visit Mulhouse.

Review 11:The decor in the hallways was a bit tired, but the rooms were great! (And I would much rather have my room be in great condition!)

Review 12:We arrived at the hotel from Iceland at midnight with plans to leave early the next morning for Salzburg. Alexandre, who staffed the desk, tirelessly spent one hour with us navigating online train tickets. When we return two days later to collect the bags we had stowed, Laurence, the manager, also went far above & beyond. We had problems with our car rental & she volunteered to make two calls to assist us and sorted out the rental problems. I am grateful to both for their kind assistance!

Review 13:I heard some TV from the next room, so a truly loud neighbour would be a problem.

Review 14:A short walk from train station on a quiet street (well, generally, Mulhouse seems to be a quiet town). Clean room, helpful staff and friendly cat.

Review 15:Breakfast was ample but to my mind a little pricey at 14 euro per person

Review 16:Hotel was clean. Double room was cozy but plenty of room for two adults and a toddler. The historic center was within easy walking distance. Overall very good value for money spent. Went to the automobile which was huge and we'll worth the outing.

Review 17:Nothing really.

Review 18:We have stayed here several times and find its relaxed atmosphere to be restful - particularly towards the end of an extensive tour. It is well located, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the room comfortable.

Review 19:the wifi was out no direct lamp in the room (all shine upwards; it's softer but if you want to chage your lenses you'd rather have something more focused...

Review 20:breakfasts size of the room situation within walking distance of the city

Review 21:First room did not lock properly but staff was helpful in changing rooms, tried his best with English and i pulled out some school book french.

Review 22:Very close to train station, and also some nice restaurants and the city centre. Lovely hotel, nice staff and generous breakfast

Review 23:The curtain. Not enough light for reading.

Review 24:Location. Easy to find a parking and close to the city center. 50 meters away, there is a nice small restaurant, called La Auguste. Take their daily menu and you won't be disappointed.

Review 25:All was good, nothing to say

Review 26:Central to the city Good and nice location with quite view Parking in front with free on Sunday's Good breakfast Free and fast wifi Friendly stuff

Review 27:Location gave excellent access to all the town, and its great zoo - especially the polar bears, railway and car museums, through its very close proximity to the tram and bus station. The railway station is in easy walking distance. However the overall positive and friendly attitude of the staff made the hotel a easy and comfortable place to stay. The breakfast was varied and plentiful with a large time window especially beneficial for those who are not in a hurry. Comfortable rooms and a relaxed lounge for those in need of a nightcap. A great place to stay

Review 28:Bathroom was not up to par. Sink faucet was not properly installed. We were afraid to have come out of the sink. Lack of washcloths. Did not like the soap dispensers attached to the walls. Felt they were unsanitary.

Review 29:Excellent attentive, courteous, friendly staff. Close proximity to the train station

Review 30:It was near the train station but a bit of a walk to anything else. The breakfast was very average and not worth the $. Other than that it was a nice place to stop on our bike tour.

Review 31:The staff were very helpful when we needed bike repair on a Saturday afternoon. They found a repair shop, called it, and gave us directions. The room was comfortable and the wifi worked well.

Review 32:Tiny bathroom felt cramped and toilet seat was too large for the bowl. Breakfast was OK. Not poor, not outstanding. Went for express option as more expensive breakfast didn't offer enough choice to justify the extra. Perhaps offer hot food at the higher price? Someone else has already remarked on the weird pointy knives which were totally useless for spreading butter and jam on bread.

Review 33:Quiet and comfortable room. Hotel is well located, close to town and train station. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Review 34:Only negative point for us was the breakfast sometimes. Depending on which day and what hour we took breakfast, there were some basic things missing. But still enough food.

Review 35:Location is good, close to city center. Parking is not free in front of hotel, but on the other side of the train station is free parking. Breakfast was good in general.

Review 36:As a non-smoking hotel, I would expect you to charge your customers in case they smoked. Checking the room before customers leave the hotel is a standard procedure that you are not following. I was in room 202, again, non-smoking, and I had to leave the windows opened during the all day to get rid of the smell. Also, I parked my car in box nr. 12 which was dirty. Cleaning is a basic procedure any where, not only inside the hotel. The wi-fi connection didn't work properly either. Therefore, you have to do your home work in order to deserve a positive feedback and expect customers to return. It's so easy to do things right - I can't understand why we don't!

Review 37:Location

Review 38:Could not fault the location with the hotel being within a 5-minute walk of the railway station and a number of small shops while the staff were most pleasant and helpful.

Review 39:The staff was very helpful, would definitely stay again

Review 40:The old style of the rooms looks quite poor

Review 41:Location, kind staff, nice breakfast, cleanliness

Review 42:Location cleanless

Review 43:Very good location quiet Very good breakfast

Review 44:Location. Wi-fi. Friendly staff. Quiet room.

Review 45:Right next to the train station(2mins walk) & not far from city centre(8 mins).

Review 46:Didn't have parking.

Review 47:Great breakfast. Very nice staff. Good value for money.

Review 48:Good location, spacious rooms with good beds, very good air conditioning which is quiet, draft free and very effective. Will gladly stay here again.

Review 49:Everything

Review 50:The bathroom was not super clean and not enough towels. There was no bed protection under the blanket.

Review 51:The location and the staff.

Review 52:Nice hotel 5 min walk from train station. Good breakfast.

Review 53:I thought that the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. They certainly went the "extra mile" to help me print out a document.

Review 54:Poor parking

Review 55:Central location good near to all amenites

Review 56:breakfast could be better shower glass door not sufficient - floods the bathroom!

Review 57:bed comfort location staff

Review 58:Very nice hotel

Review 59:No complaints.

Review 60:LLocation, room layout, good area, efficient and friendly staff.

Review 61:Expensive breakfast

Review 62:An excellent place, very comfortable and calm. Location is just a walk from the rail station and the centre. Staff very polite and friendly.

Review 63:Looks a little old, needs some remodeling...

Review 64:Breakfast (paid extra) Location

Review 65:good stop in alsace from north to south of Europe. great location in nice quiet city. friendly staff

Review 66:Was refused permission to stay until noon and asked to leave our bags downstairs before 10am so staff could clean the room.

Review 67:Perfect location-5 min walk from train station and also historic centre. Nice staff and decent breakfast. Nice lounge downstairs.

Review 68:Short walk to station, clean comfortable rooms, Tram pickup is just accros the square and resterants and town center an easy wallk. The sites I wanted to see where on the tram way.

Review 69:I don´t like French way to separate a breakfast fee and a room fee. It would be more confortable for me to have a possibililty to choose an alternative where the breakfast is included to room rate.

Review 70:The hotel was near city centre and it was easy Access to restaurants and shops.

Review 71:a bit slow to deal with complaints (the heavy shower is not well fixed and dropped twice)

Review 72:comfortable and fairly big room and bathroom, nice receptionists; most of all, very near to the railway station

Review 73:nothing I can think of

Review 74:Location close to city centre, railway station and tram transport. Air conditioning, quiet and reception staff friendly and efficient.

Review 75:It took us a long time to find the hotel as there was only one direction sign just at the end of the street it was on. There were tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms but no milk and very little sugar.

Review 76:The hotel was in a pleasant, quiet area. The staff were very helpful and attentive and assisted with our luggage . We were allowed to park our car in front of the hotel. The rooms were very clean, comfortable and smart with effective air conditioning. we were not disturbed by noise during the night. There was a good restaurant within walking distance. One of our party had the express breakfast and was very pleased with it. It was possible to walk into the town centre and quite close to local shops and cafes. The lift was useful for people with reduced mobility. We really enjoyed our stay in Mulhouse. The town hall was a fantastic building and the free museum inside was well worth visiting.

Review 77:We loved this Hotel as non French speaking Australians we were greeted by a very friendly reception staff who was doing her very best to communicate in English. The room was beautiful, the best sleep I have had in weeks I rate this hotel 5 Star. We would definitely go back.

Review 78:Wifi connection could be improved.

Review 79:Hotel is located 10 mins walk from railway station in a quiet location but central - Mulhouse is a very pleasant town to visit and stroll in - the centre is blocked to traffic and town bicycle racks provided Liz, Australia

Review 80:Expected a better breakfast buffet! The bread was not fresh, eggs were cold from the fridge & coffee was not strong enough to my standard. Lights in the room were too strong & missings lamps as well?

Review 81:The hotel looked old and out of date. Our room smelt musty and not comfortable. The furniture was horrible and the room looked sparse and not inviting. We would definately not stay again.

Review 82:Only that it was in the town centre

Review 83:no fridge in the room. No Hotel parking - I was lucky to find a parking spot on the street right in front of my window. Breakfast was a bit youth hostel like :-(

Review 84:coffee maker :-)

Review 85:The room was quite small, but was alright for one night.

Review 86:The concierge suggested an outdoor cafe near the Cathedral. Our meal was excellent. And we were pleased that the wifi worked well.

Review 87:The receptionist on duty when we arrived in the afternoon gave us insufficient detail about where to find parking, and an incorrect price (parking in all the multistory garages costs minimum €12 for 24 hours, not €8 as she said). She also omitted to mention that onstreet parking is free between 7pm-9am, and all day Sunday. Very useful information. Wifi is very weak on the third floor, and in the lounge. We could only get it to work well in the corridor next to the breakfast room.

Review 88:Very comfortable room and bed for the price. Easy to find location, and you can park for free right outside the hotel between 7pm-9am and on Sundays (something which they strangely don't mention!)

Review 89:Bathrooms were a bit cramped.

Review 90:Location (easy walking distance of rail station and of town centre); very good breakfast; comfortable beds; good size rooms (but the space could have been used more effectively).

Review 91:The staff were very friendly and the rooms clean. Kettles provided in each room with tea and coffee supplies. And we even got rooms with a bath instead of a shower. Lots of places to eat nearby.

Review 92:Nothing. I certainly would stay there again.

Review 93:Well heated. Nice location...near the train station near the city center. Friendly receptionists. Quiet / you hear only the birds singing.

Review 94:I asked for a cot bed and they gave me a camping bed without proper mattress. It was so hard that my little 4 month daughter could not sleep in it. It was not clear from the booking.com website that the breakfast price of 7 euro was the minimum price and we ended up paying 11 euro per person for the buffet.

Review 95:Breakfast and toilet above all. The location is also very convenient, between the train station and the city centre.

Review 96:We arrived late and the night porter was very friendly. Triple room was spacious enough and the bathrooms have been newly refurbished and were very comfortable. Location is good in the centre of Mulhouse and not far from Basel airport. On check out the receptionist was very helpful and friendly. Good value for money.

Review 97:Rooms a little small, but ok for 2 night stop

Review 98:Central location , close to museum and shops, station and airport busterminal. (But be aware some shops are closed on Monday ) Staff werefriendly and helpful. Note there is no restaraunt, but the town centrehas many to choose from.

Review 99:The staff were great and very professional, Room were was very clean and very comfortable Good location in town with many high quality restaurants Overall 9/10 highly recommend .

Review 100:Full breakfast not cheap at 11 Euros.

Review 101:Stayed here a few times now. Central location good for station and old town. Convenient for stop-overs driving to Italy. Good for visits to French national car and train museums.

Review 102:Ideal location for town centre shops, bars and restaurants. Comfortable room. Friendly staff and nice breakfast choice of basic continental or cooked meats and eggs with 2 separate prices 7 euros for the basic. Nice restaurant. We were the only clients in the restaurant at the time. Garage 8 euros to leave car for the night. Mullhouse is an ideal town to stay the night when travelling from Zeebruge to Italian Lakes. Arrived at approximately 6.00 pm. Not far from Swiss border for onward journey next day.

Review 103:Only that parking was in the street and had to be paid for - maximum 2 hours, however there is a very large free car park alongside the canal (10 minutes walk) which is a great place to park and head off on the train up to Colmar and elsewhere.

Review 104:Very good location, midway between old town and train station - both a 5 -10 minute walk. Excellent breakfast choice for reasonable price! Very comfortable bed and nicely appointed bathroom. Hotel staff were very attentive and friendly.

Review 105:The clean design lead to the fault all too often found - no hooks in the room or the bathroom. A small detail.

Review 106:Well place near the city center, but quiet and comfortable.

Review 107:Very nice and professional reception staff. We enjoyed our stay. The hotel is in a quiet street, near the city center. The room was clean and big enough for the three of us. We had a nice breakfast the next morning. I recommend that hotel and we will go back next time we go to Mulhouse.

Review 108:Cleanliness good, location close to the center , staff very kind

Review 109:The very warm welcome on our arrival. The pleasant view from our room.

Review 110:Breakfast Friendly staff

Review 111:Very friendly and helpful staff, simple but very clean room, good position downtown, calm place

Review 112:Kind reception, friendly staff. Good breakfast. Quiet location near railway station.

Review 113:La decoración del hotel y su ambiente agradable.

Review 114:friendly staff, nice room, everything convenient

Review 115:near from the railway station but quiet area.

Review 116:A well-managed, centrally-located hotel, with friendly and helpful staff.

Review 117:Friendly reception, good advice on where to dine. No complaints and good value
