Reviews for Le Pavillon De Kériolet

Review 1:very small bathroom, hard to find room to put down your things; the water in the shower never quite got hot enough (though it was hot in the faucet); the main door to the pavillion building didn't close well

Review 2:A magical location - felt like being in an enchanted forest. The nearby chateau was closed to visitors, but we walked around it a bit and took some photos. Delicious breakfast in a welcoming and sunlit room, friendly hosts. We liked the decor of our room and the availability of bottled water. We also liked having - though didn't use - a sitting room shared with 2 other rooms in the pavillion building. It had a fireplace, which hadn't been turned on yet (though it was already a bit chilly when we visited and I would have loved it).

Review 3:nothing

Review 4:Beautiful old hunting lodge which has been sympathetically renovated with furniture and ornaments to suit the decor. Parking in grounds. Lovely plentiful breakfast is served in another building which could be a problem if it rained. Plenty of outside seating in the grounds and situated a short journey from surrounding villages and town of Concarneau

Review 5:From car to room while not far could be a challenge in the rain.

Review 6:ambiance, room decor, staff friendliness, uniqueness of property, breakfast was plentiful and fresh.

Review 7:Facilities available to make tea/coffee in your room, but no ingredients Limited hangers in the wardrobe and limited places to 'unpack' A little 'musty' rooms needed airing

Review 8:Fabulous location, quiet and wonderful gardens and has it's own heated pool, great to have a quiet evening supper of your own making, lots of places to sit outside Nothing was too much trouble, we were able to request plates, glasses and an ice bucket Wonderful historic buildings, decorated in keeping with the setting Room was very comfortable, bathroom was up to date and continental breakfast was wonderfully fresh which the owner made very personalised

Review 9:There is no wardrobe in the room. There is a lack of storage space. The room was really dusty. We stayed 2 nights, but the room was not cleaned up. We don't expect too much from a Maison d'Hôte concept, but at least the bed could be made. When we gave our feedback in a friendly way, the proprietess reacted really unfriendly and short-tempered. We cannot recommend this Maison d'Hôte - even if the building and the garden is really beautiful, it resonnates with a cold atmosphere and a not honestly meant friendliness .

Review 10:Nice building and garden.

Review 23:Quiet location good wifi

Review 24:The owners are very friendly & welcoming and the rooms are refreshingly stylish with modern & well designed bathrooms.

Review 25:Country house character. Beautiful grounds. Warm welcome. Able to use owner's bikes to Cycle into Concarneau. Breakfast included.

Review 26:Amazing style decor and incredibly comfy bed. Beautiful area and Caroline is the nicest host we've had at a B&B yet. Such a lovely woman.

Review 27:Our room overlooked a country lane and the entrance to the chateau with a fair amount of traffic noise. The bedroom and shower room were both too small and poorly lit. There were no mirrors in the bedroom and nowhere to store clothing except two hangers on a coat stand. Madam has a fiery temper and was extremely rude when we informed her that we had accidentally broken one of her ornaments which was on the windowsill by the bed when we drew the blinds. She was most abusive and accused us of all manner of things we had not done. We shall not be returning despite this being a pleasant place to stay.

Review 28:Parkland setting at the entrance to a chateau. Beautifully decorated bedrooms with modern shower rooms.

Review 29:Difficult to locate B&B, signage at gate does not match the name on the internet. Leaking shower into bathroom. Very narrow and steep staircase to top floors. Breakfast room too small for amount of guests.

Review 30:Proximity to Concarneur 5 minutes by car was good. Good breakfast but with a sweet orientation, lucky to get cheese. Helpful and friendly hosts.

Review 31:Beautiful setting, parking on premises, central location to travel through Brittany.... Good breakfast included...... Laid back atmosphere...
