Review 1：Had much difficulty finding "Gästehaus Hochkönig". But another hotel in Filzmoos (who offered us accommodation if we could not find our guesthouse) told us it was really "Frahlenhof-Cut" Guesthouse, just down the road at the roadside. And that was easy to find!
Review 2：1. They treated us just like family. It seemed like nothing was too much trouble. (They even hugged us and seemed genuinely sad that we were leaving.) 2. Unbelievable that they can make a profit considering the huge range, quality and quantity of food for every meal. 3. Everything, just everything, was "perfect".
Review 3：The www.booking.com website says the place is 17 kms from Hallstatt. IT IS NOT TRUE: the kilometers are at least 60, it takes one hour to go there from Filzmoos. Maybe 17kms is through the Dachstein mountains......Anyway, the place is fine but not for visiting Hallstatt.
Review 4：The area is very nice, it deserves to be explored and discovered, the staff is helpfull and kind and the place has a nice garden and a good breakfast. Be advised that there are three-four buildings, and the reception is only in the restaurant building.
