Review 1：Although there was free wi-fi, it was very slow.

Review 2：The room was very comfortable and usable. It had a corner hanging cupboard, many power sockets and plenty of working surfaces. In the bathroom there was a (half length) bathtub and a large mirror. There was also a full length mirror on the door. The bed was most comfortable. There was a restaurant in the hotel, although we didn't use it so cannot comment on the food. Although the parking area was not locked, we had no worries as the hotel was in a reasonably secluded area.

Review 3：We had a standard double and it was a little on the small side - certainly so with 3 dogs (we left one to sleep in the car to give more space in the room).

Review 5：There was a strong humidity smell in the room, was really difficult for me to sleep there. The bed was mattress was too hard.

Review 12：Excellent as usual, as passing travellers, brilliant quiet location on the outskirts of town, plenty of eateries nearby if you don't want to eat in. Lovely grounds to walk the dogs and staff more than welcoming. Always enjoy the good value, good choice buffet continental breakfast. Owners are working on improvements all the time, each time we visit something has been altered or improved.

Review 15：It was clean but very tired, in need of a coat of paint. We had not noticed on the web page that the restraunt was not open at weekend. After 9 in a car had to drive to find somewhere to eat, Chinese was recommended by hotel manager. It was awful, Luke warm buffet food, breakfast was very cramped in small room with many people.

Review 18：comfort and cleanliness was fine, and receptionist helpful and communicated well in good English. We found it with little difficulty, good big carpark, and it left us on the north side of the city making our journey onwards the next day easy.

Review 21：I ordered Steak from the basic menu, and I asked for the Steak to bemedium to well done. It came back raw, I sent it back with instructionsfor Medium to Well done. It came back the second time still RARE> Idon't like to see red in my Steaks. So I sent it back the 3rd time.This time it was still a little red. Not very happy, so refused to payfor it, which I feel I am in my right mind to do so. The Waitress, wasnot very helpful, she just wanted to get the meal on the table andnothing else. I have worked in Hotels all over Australia, with myBrother as Manager, and if any of his staff or myself preformed likethat we would have a job for long.

Hotel is clean and comfortable, has lovely garden area for sitting out in, is easy to access from motorway links and has a very useful vending machine for hot drinks and snacks .... 2nd time we've stayed here and will defo stay again!

Review 52：We were travelling from England to Spain and back with our dog,a Great Dane. This place is very close to the motorway, quiet, very clean and it has a fabulous space for walking, specially if you travel with your pet. Couldn't be better. We'll repeat, for sure.

Review 58：Lack of availability of food, snacks. Can't take the dogs into the restaurant so a snack bar to take food away from would have been very welcome. Room shape with bunk beds was a bit cramped for us but we do have 4 dogs.

Review 64：The place was dull, smelled musty. It was miles from anywhere in an industrial estate. No food facilities except a coffee machine and a sweet vending machine. Takeaway food places wouldn't deliver out to the location.

Review 98：The double bunks (two top bunks) meant there was no fight for the top bunk! Couple that to the fact that the room had a little secret table between the bunks and the children absolutely loved it!! Our room overlooked a field, so you had a sense of being in the country. Reception was very helpful, offering directions and places to visit in Poitiers and supplied us with a map to get around too! Breakfast was great too!

Room 106 next to the night entrance you may as well be the doorman as the noise each time it opens and closes till the early hours of the morning and the flood light that lights this room up each time is a nightmare come true. Do not book this place.
