Review 1：The room was superb, the staff excellent and as was a Monday directed to a super restaurant where we had a magnificent meal. We are definitely coming again, as we want to view all the World 2 sites

Review 2：Restaurant was closed the night we stayed but we were redirected to a lovely restaurant a short walk away where we enjoyed an excellent meal.

Review 3：The hotel was comfortable and luxurious and well worth the price. Breakfast next morning which incurred an extra cost was top notch and the presentation of the food was excellent.

Review 5：Bedroom was excessively hot - the control for air conditioning did not work and basically we were advised 'to open the window' not something my wife was happy about on the first floor. We were advised that a technician would be necessary but was unavailable - this was after a previous stay in early September when we pointed out the television was 30 degrees out of level we were again advised a technician was also required and surprise was not available but we were given several books to support the tv on one side! You really expect better from a supposedly 5 star hotel and mentioning these deficiencies at reception got the expected zero response.

Review 7：The hotel is very unassuming and when we arrived, the exterior of the hotel was disappointing BUT when we entered the hotel well all I can say is you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover!!

Review 15：Nothing to dislike despite the housekeeping of rooms seeming a little erratic. On first visit had to ask for another mug in the room, on second visit, welcome information which includes internet password, and complimentary caramels missing.

Review 18：One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in, the room had everything I wanted, spacious, great modern design and lots of shower room. We arrived late evening following a ferry trip from UK and left early the next morning. On our next trip to France we plan take an earlier ferry just so that we can experience all this hotel has to offer.

Review 19：Stayed overnight on a Sunday, restaurant closed and had to leave early Monday so no breakfast. The location is not very nice and a long walk to the town or other restaurants

Review 21：There is only one restaurant within walking distance of the hotel - The Villa Eugene -- which was absolutely wonderful. The only other place to eat is a Pizza Bus. The restaurant in the hotel serves wonderful food, but the service is terrible. We sat for 30 minutes without even getting a menu. The room service wagons were in the hall a good part of the day as were bags filled with dirty laundry.

Review 23：Our first night we were in room 18. The air conditioner did not work. It was fixed the next day. The next day the bathroom sink drain pipe broke because the sink was not attached to the counter and twisted when touched. We were then moved to room 12. The heating rack, inner shower door handle, rollaway bed (missing wheel) and toilet exhaust fan were broken. The shower drain plugged up and flooded the bathroom floor, wetting the carpet. Lack of blackout curtain in bathroom provided no privacy at night when the light was on. There was only a thin, see through curtain there.

Review 24：Beds very comfortable, maid service very good and the room was clean. The decor was nice. We liked availability of English language channels on television (BBC, CNBC, Bloomberg). We liked the coffee pot and refrigerator. The staff was helpful and we liked Mimi La Chatte.

Review 35：The staff were extremely helpful, even with my limited French-speaking abilities. The Michelin star restaurant was superb - cannot fault the food at all (beef fillet highly recommended!). The location was fine for us - about a 20 minute easy stroll into the main town and the car parking was useful. Easy access to further out and a great base to visit all of the attractions that Normandy has to offer (D-Day beaches, Mont St Michel, Bayeux, Honfleur etc). Room was very spacious, even with a baby's cot (we had a deluxe room) and the bathroom was huge! Comfy bed, too. All in all, a great hotel - all you need!

Review 59：Beautiful big room, large modern bathroom. Very friendly and helpful staff, nice breakfast buffet! Apparently the least expensive rooms are very small, our friends stayed in one and didn't mind it except for the sloping roof over the bed, which caused one of them to bump his head a few times when sitting up in bed. However, we found the larger rooms quite affordable and well worth the extra money.
