Review 1：We were disappointed with the half board quality. A four star hotel should have more distinguished cuisine. Also be very careful with the heating ladder in the bathroom. It gets extremely hot!

Review 9：The staff was chatting quite loudly under our windows in the morning, which woke us up. The windows had to be open, otherwise it was too hot in the room.

Review 11：This hotel although clean and well located just seemed to lack any atmosphere at all. It was soulless. Only a buffet meal available in the evening so we ate elsewhere. Didn't appear to be any Austrians on the staff or even as guests.

Review 15：Bathroom could have provided more toiletries for the price --e.g., soap. However, they did provide gender specific items such as shower cap, lotion, etc. Parking space was limited and somewhat difficult on the weekend.

Review 16：All of the Staff was friendly and professional. Location was nicely situated near the castle and not too far from the center of town as well as a footpath for walking. Breakfast and dinner were very good. Service was wonderful.

Review 71：We have chosen to stay in this hotel because it was only available hotel with swimming pool for dates we selected. During our 7 days stay water in pool was very cold except for one afternoon when it wasn't too cold but neither warm enough. We complained to front desk about it and we was told that it will be fixed and that temperature should be 30C but it never was even close. However hot tub was properly heated so we used it instead of pool. Stuff in the restaurant is 5 stars (helpful, polite, friendly...) but they not speak English at all but girls from front desk are fluent in English so they can help. Also portions for dinner can be slightly larger (considering that most guests spend day skiing) and also for such nice 4 stars hotel there should be 4 instead of 3 options on the menu. Room type "Maiskogel" need bit more space and one more chair in the room. It is bit awkward to have shared balcony in 4 stars hotel.

Review 72：Hotel itself (rooms, bathrooms, restaurant, front desk, Spa, elevator...) look great, it is stylish combination of modern luxury design and traditional Austrian design. Whole hotel stuff was so friendly and helpful and I can say among the best from all hotels we stayed so far. Whole hotel is very clean and very well managed. Food is excellent, all compliments to chef. Internet connection is good and fast.

Review 75：Staying in this hotel was a fantastic experience. We arrived at midnight because of traffic jam but there was no problem to wake up a hotel manager, who told us everything what we wanted to know. Breakfast was fantastic- juices, tea, coffe (Latte for us) milk, cereals (a lot of) jogurts, ham, eggs ...a lot of kind of rolls and bread...maybe they buy up some bakery). Our room was spacious with high and comfortable bed. You could watch the actual weather at the near moutains. The bathroom was very large and nice. And the shower was for three people in minimum :-). Every day we were sitting in a big balcony and we enjoyed the fantastic view to hills and mountains. Hotel has its own spa, where there is a peace and quiet and you can relax here or do some computer works because there is also a wireless connection. The most wonderful was the dinnir. We were absolutely enthused by the 4 courses of the meal. Thanks to all staff which helped us to enjoy our first staying in Alps. If we come back, We will stay in ZUR BURG.

Review 78：the hotel is new and amaaaaazing the staff were amazingly helpful and kind and absolutely friendly we loved every single one of them the room was very clean and nice and with an amazing panoramic view and the bathroom was nice and clean and with style the breakfast was free and soooo delicious and for dinner they can provide almost anything the guest request if they have it and all what we requested and ate was delicious and the pool and spa was lovely and so luxurious the net was free and the parking was free and just in front of the door and they gave us a free access for a lot of places with a cards with our names like for some places to visit and more discounts on other places and it was the best hotel at all we loved everything ,, even though it was freezing outside we requested a fan and they gave us one any one who doesn't try this hotel will be missing the greatest chance of visiting this great hotel and btw we are very picky guests and we totally fell in love with this hotel everyone is recommended to try it

Review 79：Very friendly environment. Great food - breakfast with big variety. Dinner - excellent. Very friendly and helpful staff. We felt like we would be in known environment even though we came first time. Great wellness, much better than in similar hotels in Austria. Very close to golf course

Review 80：Whilst all the staff were friendly and helpful, we were disappointed to find it was not a family run Austrian hotel. This was noticeable by the lack of a manager, a poor display and selection of evening starters, desserts and breakfast. The cooked food was of a reasonably good standard, but not up to expected Austrian standards. The dining room itself lacked any atmosphere and unfortunately our bedroom was situated above a noisy kitchen in the evening, and a compressor which was noisy all night. The hotel is also situated on a cut through road to ZellamSee, which was busy and noisy from 5.00 am each morning. All in a fairly good hotel, convenient, with good spa facilities but lacking peace and quiet, and the quality of meals expected in Austria. Wines were quite frankly a rip off starting at Euro 35-45 for an average quality wine. Not recommended if you stay half board. Perhaps a room on the far side of the hotel might be better. The hotel was fully booked apparently so we were unable to be relocated.

Review 81：We had stayed at a nearby hotel before and knew the location. This was a last minute booking due to a change of holiday plan. The hotel is very clean and rooms well looked after, the spa area is of good quality. The hotel is some 8 minutes walk to the town centre and for us conveniently located for cycling.

Review 82：Seating arrangements for breakfast are rather unusual with tables pre-assigned by room number. If you haven't booked on a half board basis you are relegated to non-window seats every day which in this hotel are quite dark. This is unusual when many tables by the windows are free as their designated guests has presumably come and gone by the time we arrived. There is no kettle in the room (quite common in Austria) but also no iron was available, in fact ironing was forbidden in the room! First time ever I have come across this problem in a hotel.

Review 88：We had a wonderful holiday at the Hotel zur Burg. Every member of the staff was very helpful and kind, they had a kind word and smile to the guests every day. The hotel was perfectly clean and tidy, the rooms are stylishly decorated. The location is beautiful near the castle and we had a marvellous view direct to the Kirzsteinhorn from our room. The spa and relax facilities were pleasant after a day of trekking. There is good opportunity for various programmes in Kaprun even in the summer. The food was good and plentiful, we liked the fresh vegetables and fruits with the breakfast. We can just recommend this hotel to everyone and we plan to come back as soon as we have opportunity.

Review 89：I didn't like that most of hotel personnel spoke german barely, however the hotel is in a German speaking region. Moreover, the dinner doesn’t correspond to 4-star standards (for instance, mashed potato from powder isn’t appropriate at all).

Review 92：the hotel is very comfortable, very homely, the hotel is newly renovated and they put in the very good quality materials and design, the location and the view are excellent on the hill top overlooking the fields and mountains, and our whole family is very pleased and very happy throughout our 5 nights stay at Hotel Zur Burg. Review 97：Parking space was a bit of a problem, but staff did solve it by leaving the keys in a reception and they parked the car when they could. Very good if one travels with a car, but if not, it is a it away from a town centre, but still at a walkable distance.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, the spa facilities amazing, large swimming pool with the stream to swim against, beautiful views, large sauna complex downstairs, very comfortable. Nice food and a lot of it, a la carte menu, not a buffet. It is near the Kaprun Castle, very nice view and very convenient driving out to other skiing resorts, no need to cross the town.
