Reviews for Citotel Hôtel de France et d'Europe

Review 1:Friendly, efficient, well-run, clean, excellent location, great breakfast, super staff. Overall I would hioghly recommend this hotel. It is within minutes of lots of restaurants and bars as well as the "old town".

Review 2:Good location. Secure parking. Helpful and cheerful staff and generous breakfasts. Best wifi experienced after travelling the last 21 days in UK & France.

Review 3:We arrived here soaking wet on a cycling holiday and were made to feel very welcome. I appreciated the effort that was made to supply a gluten free breakfast. This is a well run, spotlessly clean hotel with secure parking for bicycles and cars and ideal for a break in Concarneau.

Review 4:Room was a bit on small side.

Review 5:Excellent location Secure paid parking near hotel Friendly staff Good air conditioning

Review 6:Nothing that I can think of

Review 7:Convenient for walking into the old town

Review 8:The warm welcome and assistance offered by Jerome.

Review 9:Chose a room not at front of hotel due to road noise

Review 10:Great location

Review 11:Breakfast excellent and staff very helpful.

Review 12:No outstanding view from room but no problem to sleep and visit town.

Review 13:Easy to access city.

Review 14:No tea / coffee facilities in room

Review 15:Location Staff friendly and efficient Room clean & comfortable

Review 16:very noisy in rooms facing the street

Review 17:- close to the city centre and harbour

Review 18:First impressions a bit sparse but probably just the Reception area...We soon adjusted and settled in well. Most restaurants were closed atnight but given a bit longer and a few weeks sooner, we could haveplanned our activities better perhaps.

Review 19:Dedicated attention to detail and helpfulness of family/staff.Assistance beyond the call of duty. We both have walking difficultiesbut owner was amazingly understanding... Locked garage became accessiblethanks to his help. The beds were very comfortable and everything workedperfectly... Amazing really. Breakfast was an excellent family affairwith good quality food: and coffee served at the table! Splendid! Formost people this would be a very central Hotel if walking were easy... Abusy little town in Summer no doubt. Lovelly

Review 20:Nothing really.

Review 21:Everything was perfect about it.Its location in the heart of town, theprivate parking, the modern style of the hotel and the way we were madewelcome. The rooms were immaculate and the breakfast was the best wehave ever had in France (and we have been regular travellers for moreyears than you can mention -30 plus. Please note - you said on yourbooking that breakfast was served in your roon. This is not so. Theextensive buffet was served in a wonderful dining room and with theproximity of bars and restaurants of varying quality for all tastes, theneed for a bar was superfluous in the hotel - but it had plenty of spaceto relax in .

Review 22:Room and bathroom was larger than other ones we stayed at in Paris. Has a decent size lift! Location was close to bars, restaurants, supermarket, and Post Office.

Review 23:Liked the location very close to the sights and restaurants/bars. Good secure parking. Easy to find. Clean and comfortable, friendly and helpful staff who had good English.

Review 24:Room was on th esmall side but adequate .Slight noise from the street when window is open.

Review 25:Location was great and nice to have parking close by , even if we had to pay. Nice restaurants close by and castle and amphitheatre were a delight. Hotel very clean, and breakfast very good , lovely choice of fruit.

Review 26:Room was small and it would be difficult to find a smaller bathroom! No kettle in room which other 3* hotels in France now have.

Review 27:Rooms were modern & very clean. Comfy beds, nice pillows.

Review 28:Small room. Aircon didn't work, staff couldn't fix it.There's an error on the booking.com reservation details- no depositis deducted on booking- led to discussion on check-out.

Review 29:Very spacious family room. Clean and comfortable. The owner was very helpful and paid attention to everything. We parked our car outside the hotel and he informed us in time when the policeman approached. Also there was no communication problem as he spoke English. Very good value for money.

Review 30:We noticed that there was a safe in the room but it was not bolted to anything and could be lifted and taken away!! It would have been nice to have had English speaking radio and/or TV. French hotels seem to offer a plethora of French dubbed films and channels, and CNN as the norm - quite annoying.

Review 31:We were concerned after reading other reviews that our room would be small, so we booked a Double Confort and it was perfect. Beautiful fluffy towels; excellent bedside LED reading lights as well as conventional bedside lamps; quiet room even though our window was facing the main route into town; bed/mattress was ultra comfortable and looked relatively new; lots of hot water but not scalding.

Review 32:Like most hotels in France, breakfast is too expensive and should bepriced in to the rate rather than offered as an extra. Lots of Cafesand boulangeries nearby as options. Parking in the hotels secure carpark is extra too, but street parking is free from 19.00 to 10.00 andusually safe.

Review 33:Comfortable and clean room, very well arranged. Location is ideal forexploring the town. Great value for money and a very pleasant place.
