Review 1：Overhyped "very nice" hotel for extremely basic small room, amenities and overall experience. No warning on inability to park or get near it on Saturday market. Staff varied - surly to helpful

Review 3：The hotel was very clean and staffs were helpful. It is located just out side of old town and it was very good location to walk to the town and all the restaurants. Our room was in the second floor facing the city and the view was very good.

Review 8：The staff is unfreindly. We asked to call the taxi and then we required to be in hotel at half an hour earlier than we asked. the reason was huge traffice which is amasing for such a small town. In the morning nobody was at reception for a while.

Review 10：Lovely hotel in the medieval centre of Sarlat. Easy walk to cathedral, market, tourist office, lots of eateries. Nice spa area with free access to pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. Excellent breakfast, more than the usual French offering as they offered american style crispy bacon and scrambled eggs with beans, plus plenty of other choice.

Review 11：Lack of parking, top floor tiny room at rear next to noisy lift & yapping dog in next room. Complained but unable to change. Wifi mostly non existent. Was charged €10 more than advertised tariff at hotel.

Review 15：Very unfriendly welcome because we brought our two Yorkies. Was charged 15€ or day for each dogTold them when we booked in January. No service at the pool before 16 o'clock. The bar service very very slow and the table was dirty, we had to ask them to clean it. The spa did not open before 16 o'clock

Review 17：This superb hotel was a joy to stay in. The staff were helpful and friendly. The location is great - right in the heart of the old town. The breakfast is superb with a wide variety of options to suit everyone. The swimming pool terrace is lovely - private and quiet and we spent some very relaxed time there. Our Prestige room was spotlessly clean and had plenty of space. The soundproofing means that you are not disturbed by activity outside. It was good to have both walk in shower and a bath. We booked a space in the garage for our car and that was a good decision (the garage is only 150m away). We hope to return to this lovely hotel soon.

Review 21：staff were lovely. Decor was beautiful location of hotel perfect. But no food available other than breakfast on some days. On 2 nights we managed to get plate of ham n cheese for 19€!!!!! Rooms cleaned some days with complimentary water, hoovered, made beds, new toiletries, new towels clean glasses m coasters. However 4 of 6 days they made bed changed whatever towels we left out n that's it no water ( it's included in room price of 139€ a night so expect to get it) no clean glasses etc. bar only open a few hours. Hotel felt like it was being run on minimal staff. Breakfast pretty manky. I've had better pastries in a BP. We went to pattiserie over the road it was one tenth of the price but 10 times better quality. Wouldn't stay again

Review 22：Fantastic, comfortable large room, we did pay extra but it was worth it, great facilities, friendly staff, great breakfast, and brilliant location. This was our second stay at the hotel with a toddler this time but we had a very enjoyable stay. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Review 25：My smallish 3rd floor room was was hot and stuffy (April). Air conditioning was not available - sound proofing works provided windows are closed. Bar area looked closed - all was covered in white sheets.
