Reviews for The Sea Club

Review 1:Definitely NOTHING.

Review 2:Just like being invited into someone's home, we enjoyed a great week, especially the sea view room with its little terrace. the extremely warm welcome from Luis, Jenny & Nicolas and all the rest of the staff. Although we visited in early May, the weather was excellent, the pool warm and the gorgeous courtyard was ideal to relax with a coffee after a lovely breakfast or with an evening drink. The location is great, easy access to plenty of restaurants but far away from some of the noisier bars by the harbour. We understand the hotel revolves around the bar in the high season but if you want a relaxing time, just stick to May or October.

Review 3:only 5 nights. Maybe rooms towards the back might be the quietest maybe room 9 or 12 but thats really picky. But really mainly quiet and very relaxing.

Review 4:comfort , feel of place was really friendly and helpful. located great outside town centre but within walking distance, beachside. Great owners, very friendly ( loved the little dogs and 2 cats and the tortoise, great atmosphere! Breakfast was one of the best ever.

Review 5:I have to dig deep to find fault. My only problem during my eight day stay, was that I have a very bad back, post 2 operations. The chairs for the outdoor tables made my back sore, so I had to sit on bar chairs all day, at the bar! Oh dear!

Review 6:Very, clean, comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms. Plenty of room in the lovely garden and pool area, for adults and children to be happy, without bothering each other! A very friendly family run business.

Review 7:First accommodation offered was not suitable for mature couple and complaint was met with brusque attitude. However, efforts were made to provide a better room which turned out to be part of a family room with traditional Spanish beds with metal sides which we could not sit on or access comfortably. There was also a problem with towels and we were asked to take our used and wet towels with us, which we refused to do. Apparently, there was a problem with the laundry and towels had to be borrowed from another hotel! Advice would be to book early and request a sea view room with terrace.

Review 8:Position of hotel is excellent Very laid back atmosphere Excellent breakfast (only meal provided outside high season) Lovely gardens and pool area Honesty bar

Review 9:Very close to the beach Friendly place Could speak English

Review 10:no bad experiences

Review 11:everything

Review 12:Small room with lack of extractor in bathroom. Perhaps poor value for low season. Toilet broke down twice and had to use bucket.

Review 13:location and pool area. Attractive garden

Review 14:Loved everything about this place. You really feel like you are staying abroad with friends and not in a hotel. The rooms are cosy and bright, breakfast is plenty the bar was the atmosphere of the place and we met many interesting people. Cannot compare it to any other place i have stayed before. Thank you for a wonderful time. We will be back

Review 15:Typical, but worth mentioning - went to bar to say goodbye to Louis andthen back to room alone to cope with luggage, gates and exit. Sea Cubget away with it because it is like an Officer's Mess. We will come backprobably but, and I mean this kindly, very few of our civilian friendswould like it.. If Nicholas is taking over then a dose of manners andcharm school would not go amiss

Review 16:Hasn't changed in character in 40 years. An acquired taste which wehappen to like - basically, use our facilities, which are good, lookafter yourself!

Review 17:Our original room was actually a single room with double bed, though wewere moved 2 nights later into a twin room with more space.

Review 18:A 'shabby-chic' family owned small hotel in an excellent position on thesea front. Some rooms looked large and airy. An interesting mix ofvisitors made for good evenings round the bar. Breakfast was substantial- fresh orange juice, various breads, croissants, pain au chocolat, ham, cheese, fresh fruit and cooked eggs and bacon if you wished it. Thiscould be eaten on the terrace or at long tables in the dining area whichmade for friendly exchanges with the international visitors. A goodsized swimming pool with lots of loungers

Review 19:nothing, except the weather which was not their fault!

Review 20:family run, really friendly and helpful, beautiful gardens, right by the sea, great breakfast.

Review 21:It was a beautiful location and quirky place to stay with very helpful owners. Loved it.

Review 22:Friendly family atmosphere. So relaxed.
