Reviews for Alpenhof Brixen

Review 1:There was nothing to dislike.

Review 2:The whole Hotel had a very casual, cosy atmosphere. The management and all staff were impeccable, which made for a very friendly professional ambiance.

Review 3:Wifi is not available everywhere, bar and chill-out lounges are conversable but not cozy by bright light and cold air flow from the opening and closing of the hotel entrance door.

Review 4:Good spacious rooms, excellent facilities and service.

Review 5:We din not like the room witch we booked 4 months ago and payed. It was smaller and we asked to have one room like în the presentation. The manager of the hotel did not discus with us any other option.

Review 6:Good service at the restaurant and nice Wellness area

Review 7:Bed a little hard and low

Review 8:Mountain views Swimming Pool Restaurant Area Good Food Friendly Staff Convenience to Ski Bus Stop Convenience to Train Station

Review 9:While gruff, the manager accommodated a last-minute change at check-in, thus averting what otherwise would've been a minor tragedy. And...the hotel is located just off one of the ski runs!

Review 10:I would have taken a smaller bathroom for a better view from balcony next time I will ask

Review 11:1-2 minute drive or bus ride from SkiWelt very convenient but the hotel, walk in the door, nice comfortable Lounge & Bar, dinning room, food superb, great value, Thomas great service, balance of staff helpful, friendly. Spa, sauna, pool clean and welcoming after full day of skiing

Review 12:It was a hot night and we didn't find any aircon, we apologise if we overlooked it. However, this is largely a ski resort so clearly in the winter months would be wonderfully cosy. Opened windows wide, it was quite enough to do so, and we managed well.

Review 13:We loved this location, just a stroll down the main street for bars and restaurants and a lovely restaurant on site though we didn't use is as on a biking holiday and didn't have the appropriate clothing. Rooms are spacious and absolutely beautiful, bathroom gorgeous - we really appreciated a bath rather than a shoebox shower!! Receptionist was lovely and VERY helpful and welcoming - thank you for that. Peaceful, pretty location, good bike parking. And the breakfast was extensive and delicious. Well done hotel, you are doing everything right, we loved it.

Review 14:Poor times for restaurant and Sauna. Head receptionist was too serious and never smiled.

Review 15:Very quiet room. Restaurant staff were very attentive.

Review 16:Wifi - you had to keep logging in and had to have separate login details for each device. Always the same selection for breakfast, no change in the evening salads. Lovely swimming pool area but water too cold. Afternoon snack a joke - only one item, and served between 4 and 5 so easily missed as last ski lift at 4.30. If we wanted a bathrobe it had to be collected from reception. No toiletries, e.g. shampoo, conditioner, only a multi-purpose herbal gel. Several evenings we were charged for tap water at dinner although this was supposedly a mistake as we had also ordered wine, and rectified on querying it at checkout. For a 4 * hotel this all felt a little mean compared to other Austrian hotels we've stayed in previously. Sorry to be so negative.

Review 17:Having half board was good. Plenty of hot water, great after skiing. Comfortable bedrooms with plenty of storage space. Quite good food. Nice balcony (but overlooked derelict tennis courts and building site).

Review 18:Wifi is a pain when you have to re log in everytime you want to use it .

Review 19:Staff very supportive when we needed a Doctor on a Sunday . Leisure facilities very good for this size of a hotel . Inclusive food deal makes sense as quality is fine and salad buffet is excellent

Review 20:no tea/coffee making facility in room. It's winter time and hot beverages is a must, but they don't provide the electric kettle/hot pot for tea/coffee making.Internet connection is also a problem, being log off if you are not using it for awhile. It also limited to 1 user only in one room(even for me who stayed in a studio suite).

Review 21:scenery from our room.

Review 22:Not being offered with half-board when booking the room via www.booking.com I was expecting to order a dinner from menu. But I was told that only those who had half board ordered can get the dinner in hotel restaurant.

Review 23:relax in wellness.

Review 24:The atmosphere is not very personal, for 4 stars we expected something more.

Review 25:The location was perfect for the purpose we went for. The hotel is comfortable and practical.

Review 26:Well organised, very friendly staff, good food

Review 27:Sabine was very helpful.
