Reviews for Domaine De Manville
Review 1:1) In three days of our stay the bed was never made in the evening. (the morning cleaning was correct). 2) One of the toilets in our room, (room 15) was having a problem to flash the water. We asked the cleaning lady to transmit a message to the maintenance person, and the answer was - yes, we know about this problem for awhile, but (!) it demands some big repaires and can not be settled right now! We stayed for whole three days with dirty toilet, you see:-) Take your shower near a dirty toilet, brush your teeth near the dirty toilet:-)) they could have informed us at least in advance to avoid that we use it...
Review 2:Nice decoration of the hotel in general. Good restaurant.
Review 3:A number of small things indicated the hotel was new and still had some way to go for it all to work smoothly. Very dirty kettle and coffee machine, only 2 high chairs despite advertising as family friendly, very limited room service menu and only in French etc. most importantly, after having emailed months in advance for a birthday cake for our son's first birthday, re confirming this at check in and another occasion during our stay, it was forgotten!
Review 4:Absolutely stunning interior and beautiful hotel with a lovely pool and the breakfast served outside was very relaxing
Review 5:No special welcome Some staff appeared awkward Dinner was nothing special and pacing and presentation not at level of a small luxury resort One morning there was significant noise from truck handling some construction very surprising and unacceptable. I did not report my disdain but was very surprised again any landscaping or renovations need to be completed at low season or at another time.
Review 6:Travelled extensively around the world but have seldom stayed in a more beautiful hotel. Everything about this hotel is excellent from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave. The owners should be congratulated.
Review 7:First you just see the absence of really trained English speaking stuff; then you perceive a lack of design & connection to Provence. Indeed, the location is great - for the golf place - but the hotel on the other hand is in a dark & shady area behind a rock and right besides a road - with a lot of traffic. The pool is in fact in the area of the restaurant. Even from the rooms, everybody looks down at the pool area. No, this is not luxury at all. Even for the golf places exist better options in the area and at the Côte d'Azur. E.g. with real grass & not these dried-out herbs... I would definitely not stay again. The restaurant was just overpriced in comparaison to every other Michelin Star Restaurant in the Area - e.g. the sauce was so acid, that my partner could not stop coughing. To keep it short, in my mind, this property is just all about Marketing & does not fit international standards & we've literally travelled everywhere...
Review 8:I like Provence but I would stay elsewhere for better service & value of money.
Review 9:Just the access to the spa not connected directly with the hotel: you need to go outside from your room with your bathrobe or use the change room !...
Review 10:The amazing golf in front of Les Baux de Provence , the nice domain, the very friendly staff and the excellent restautant. Amazing desserts ! Golf bistrot also very pleasant. Room-suite so nice & comfortable .
Review 11:The restaurant is not very cosy, the design of it and empty shelves at the bar and in the room make it quite uncomfortable to be in + very expensive wine list, although the food was great. Hairdryer needs to be more powerful. Last day of our stay we were the only people in the hotel and the breakfast wasn't served.
Review 12:Absolutely stunning location. Short walk to Les Baux-de-Provence, beautiful nature. Very nicely done hotel, the yard and the winter garden are splendid. The staff is very friendly.
Review 13:Golf course was closed one day and greens were aired other day, no notice in advance Wine per glass in gastronomic restaurant not very good and far too expensive (14 to 16 euros) for what you get, food however very good
Review 14:friendliness staff, environment and degree of comfort
Review 15:Breakfast is pretty expensive at 28 euros each and even if you only have croissants and coffee in your room it's the same price! They just don't do any little things like Crillion le Brave that demonstrate real value is a shame.
Review 16:The atmosphere, the pool and our room was lovely. We only ate in the restaurant on one evening, the food was amazing and am sure won't be long before they get a Michelin star. The guys in the bar were all brilliant and very good with our dog.
Review 17:Everything was exceptional!!!
Review 18:Exceptional attention to detail
