Review 1：Staff are very nice, bur can't say a word in English. The room was on underground floor. The maintenance of the room was very poor (doors don't fully close, leaking faucets, tiles broken). It may be funny- but the bed sheets were in AWFUL color.

Review 8：1. Language barrier. Well, yes, we did met this problem during our trip to France in every city. It's not a secret that French people don't like English and don't want to learn it even though it is international language for communication. But there in Digne it was not a problem, but a PROBLEM! So I highly recommend anyone to prepare all your possible questions in French or in cartoons :). Firstly we had problems with check-in (we just didn't understand each other), later we had problems with attempt to have a dinner at restaurant and at the end it was quite hard to check out and pay (because of language barrier). It is rather strange that hotel staff don't speak any foreign language. Eng is not our native language but we don't expect foreigners to know Ukrainian that's why we try to learn international language. I can't believe it is hard to learn few phrases for prompt cooperation with clients. 2. Dinner. As this was not just a hotel, but restaurant-hotel, we expected to had dinner there. But we found out that there was no menu at all. We were told that some reorganizations took place at that moment and they had new chief cook that's why they were not prepared for guests in the restaurant. So we didn't receive complete restaurant dinner, but were provided with hotel kitchen's offer (it was pretty tasty by the way). I very much hope that all is ok now with the restaurant
Review 9：1. Location. Very close to the village center, quite place, a supermarket in the neighborhood, beautiful patio where one can occupy table while having breakfast/dinner 2.Room. We had room in black and grey colors, stylish and very cozy. We were afraid of air-cond. system absence, but after all it was not hot at all (and the night was even cool a little bit). Bed is very comfortable. Everything was clean. 3. Toiletries. They are not "Made in China" standard hotel ones, but made on French village factory, nice packing and very good smell. 4. People. Actually we had some problems connecting to people (described in "dislikes"), but nevertheless we'll remember all of them (staff, I mean) as extremely friendly and helpful and positive persons. 5. Breakfast. We belong to those who need to have hearty breakfast so it was a kind of problem for us during our France trip ( as most hotels offer classical French breakfast - croissant with jam). This hotel's breakfast consists of croissants\baguettes, jams, ham, cheese, butter, juices, drinks. Breakfast was included. We enjoyed our staying in both Digne and its hotel very much. Nice town(or village?), very friendly people, very cozy hotel and atmosphere.
