Review 1：No room service during our stay (3 days) without being informed: very bad especially when you have a winter storm outside and you should avoid going out

Review 4：Wonderful location of the hotel, the aera is is very interesting. The staff was very helpful and warm. Very good dining with sea view.

Review 5：Rickety lift. Very small room considering the price we paid. Being told we could definitely have a window table when checking in. Yet when we went down for dinner they were all fully booked.

Review 7：Room with view to garden is to hot, has full wool plain carpet, and noairco. In the room above us, even after we complained to the reception,there were people moving furniture in the middle of the night. Itstopped at 01:00:00 am !!! The hotel did not interveen withcompensation after asking. Other Belgians said the breakfast buffet attheir age is too many and costs 25 euros each. They said also that eve-dinner was not good for 45 euros each. So we didn't take the riskfor breakfasts and eve-dinners. Also the spa water in inside swimmingpool was too cold.

Review 8：The ambiance in the restaurant felt a bit stuffy and we had a very long wait between main course and dessert. The food was ok but not amazing. With all the technical gadgetry, there could have been an iPod player.

Review 9：The room was large and well fitted. Bathroom large with lovely walk-in shower. The view both from the room and the terrace was excellent. Good coffee machine in the room.

Review 10：Too many parents treated pool like a pleasure beach , not a quiet relaxing pool associated with a spa. A reluctance by staff to gently remind parents of this. Not the kids fault at all.

Review 12：I got food poisoning from the dinner at the hotel restaurant and the management response was inadequate. While they agreed to go to the pharmacy and get medicine for me, no one actually inquired about what happened, what I ate or indicated that they were looking into the situation. It was not until check out when I asked them what had been done to follow up that I was told that no one else had a problem. The fact is that they never asked me what I ate and even if no one else had a problem does not mean that I did not get food poisoning from their seafood. I am certain it was from their restaurant. They also did not propose any offset for the unfortunate situation. I had to insist that at a minimum I not be charged for the food that caused me to get very ill and lose the one full day that I had in the area. In the end they refunded the 2 dishes which for a restaurant of their caliber is the minimum they should have proposed from the beginning.

Review 14：I have a special diet (no sugar what so ever) and they tried to find a solution for me but I think that a restaurant with this standing (and those prices) could have done better (as a cheaper restaurant actually did the next day). Also for breakfast you could only have eggs and ham without sugar which is a bit light.

Reluctant to mention that the security gate access at the bottom of a long flight of stairs to the beach was closed and we were unable to open so we had to walk all the way back up to reception to let them know and as we were not prepared to accept their offer of accompanying us down to the gate ( as the climb up if unsuccessful was significant) we had to walk a little bit longer around to get down to the beach area to find a restaurant. Not sure what the problem and it had not been fixed when we tried to return,but they were very apologetic. It did not detract from or enjoyment of the hotel..

Review 52：Magnificent rooms, luxurious,modern and very well equipped. Staff were very attentive and anxious to please, almost too too long to tell us about the facilities. We are arrived too late to want to use the indoor pool and spa facilities and the restaurant was closed on a Tuesday evening, but they had sent an email in advance to advise us. We had booked a long time ahead and obtained a great rate, around half the rack rate but this hotel is definitely worth paying for; supposedly they have just achieved 5 stars we were told. Great view from the bar ( and some rooms no doubt) over the beach and sea.

Review 53：Minor complaints only. Restaurant closed for dinner on Monday and Tuesday. Room service food was disappointing. Garden view room did not provide a very interesting view, so suggest booking a sea view room.

Most importantly, we would like to thank the management and all staff for the wonderful time we had during our holiday at the hotel. Everything was perfect, from the room to the public facilities to the excellent food, but most importantly to each member of staff we came across, all so eager to make our holiday special. The hotel is impeccably run and we could not have had a better time. Thank you.

Review 58：Absence of air conditioning (there is a dangerous and not practical van attached to the - too low - ceiling): this is a nonsense for a hotel that claims 5 stars, it makes me laugh!!! The presence of moquette is exaggerated. Elevators are scattered and not evident to find due to the terraced set up of the hotel. Furniture is practical and essential but of a discutable design: I did not like it at all: below the standard of a 5 stars, limit for a 4 stars. The wine list at the restaurant is far too expensive without any justification (personnel is gentle but too shy in presenting things). Hair dryer was not effective (not warm enough).

Review 59：Modern and well kept, with an extremely helpful staff, a good bar with 'sommelier', a nice swimming pool overlooking the sea with bar and SPA (not included) service. Service and location of the restaurant.

Review 60：It is not really a hotel for summer as it does not have anywherecomfortable to sit outside. The open air terrace by the spa only hasnormal chairs or deckchairs with a steel overhead support for a canopyso providing little sun. A proper area to sit outside and an outdoorpool would have made the hotel perfect.
