Review 1：We were given the wrong room at first only when we refused to accept it were we shown the better accomodation. We were confused by the owners lack of understanding. The second room was an upgrade I had paid for in advance and this garden room was very comfortable.

Review 3：The outside of the hotel looked a little drab but I quickly realised that initial impressions were not lasting. Our room was on the ground floor and the window opened onto to the street so we did not feel comfortable keeping the window open during the night - our choice - but it was rather hot!
Review 4：We particularly appreciated the warm welcome we received after our long journey. We parked our car in a free parking slot opposite the hotel. Our room was simple and quirky - the first impression was of impeccable cleanliness. It was also neat and although the room was clearly sculpted out of an older room the decor was clean and fresh. In summary it was plain and simple but this was all we wanted and needed. We were ideally situated to visit the cathedral at Nevers - just a short walk across the park. Despite this the road where the hotel was located was surprisingly quiet during the night. Breakfast was once again simple - there was a good choice of fresh options including croissants ofcourse which we opted for! My husband assured me the coffee was good. The ambience was friendly and welcoming once again. Hotel Villa Du Parc provided a perfect stopover on the long drive to the south and offered reasonable value for money.

Review 20：It is a short walk from the train station, and an even shorter work to the Espace Bernadette. There is a nice big park in front of the hotel. The room was just right. It feels like one is a good family friend of the hotel during the stay. Highly recommended.
