Reviews for Hôtel La Croix Blanche
Review 1:A little noisy with people next door or in the corridor for a short period during the night.
Review 2:Wonderful reception and care of visitors. Very helpful staff and perfect location. Very clean, good TV reception and v comfortable bed. I will stay here again and highly recommend the hotel and the owner
Review 3:The street our room faced onto was very noisy during the night. This may have been an exception rather than the norm.
Review 4:Super service from lovely English speaking staff. Great breakfast! Easy walking distance to places to eat.
Review 5:Just my usual moan that applies to so many B&Bs and hotels in UK and the rest of Europe - dreadful lighting in the room. Please, please, give those of us with eyes and who want to read the opportunity to do so easily!
Review 6:This very friendly, welcoming and efficient hotel is great value for money and seriously handy for the station - two minutes' stroll away. The boulevard in which it's located is exceptionally handsome with some inspired touches such as the linear fountain.
Review 7:The wifi you have to resign in every time you use only small complaint though .
Review 8:Yes it was excellent placed right in the Center of town. Nicely priced Owner runs hotel and is super friendly.
Review 9:Hotel La Croix Blanche is by far the best stay that I have ever had in France. Found in the La Place de Verdun, the hotel is centrally located. The bedrooms are clean (and cleaned daily) and well furnished. The owner and staff are friendly, helpful and fantastic people. They also know English - which was very comforting for someone who is extremely awkward when speaking French. Across the street there are several restaurants, so finding a place to eat is super easy. The hotel also has television, breakfast (for a small fee), and most importantly, wifi! Overall, I highly recommend Hotel La Croix Blanche!

Review 13:Location
Review 14:The staff were really friendly and welcoming and helped with our cases. We were looking for a centre of town location for that night and it was perfect and we enjoyed a really good meal in the square.
Review 15:the noise from the street was unfortunate the 'non-smoking' room smelt quite obviously of a room that has held smokers. Not pleasant.
Review 16:location was great, affordable accommodation with decent sized rooms
Review 17:Quite noisy in the night due to location. When walking through all the hotel the floor was squeaking.
Review 18:Right in the city center, very close to all restaurants, coffee shops and stores. Very clean and good value for money.
Review 19:Very small quarters. Old, mildewy smell in room. Seems like a convertedbed & breakfast. Also, it is not handicapped friendly at all...wewere not disabled, but we had to lug our luggage up and down the stairs.
Review 20:Close to good restaurants and not far from jazz festival andtrain/bus terminal.
Review 21:The noise from late-night revellers in the street behind the hotel made for sleepless nights.
Review 22:Good central location and the proprietor, Jean-Marc, was very friendly, knowledgable and helpful, making our stay much easier.
Review 23:You could hear everything from the neighbour rooms (EVERYTHING), the bathrooms look a bit old, there is no elevator.
Review 24:The breakfast, the location in the square, the value for money
Review 25:We were given a room in the roof, 4th floor no elevator. It was tiny, old and shabby with a 1960's bathroom that you would need to exit totowel dry. This was certainly not acceptable and we were moved to a roomon the second floor that was still old but a better size..An hour latter we get a phone call asking if we would mind checking out at 11.00am rather than the normal midday as they had other people booked in that needed the room early. We accepted this. In the morning at 10.30 the maids arrived wanting to service the room, it was clear that they had been sent by the manager who was on the landing to try and harass us out of the room even earlier! The hotel is badly managed and they had clearly over booked as indicated by the excuse for a room we were offered on arrival. Being harassed after we had agreed to help out sums up the attitude of management to guests - contempt.
Review 26:In town centre, parking is about 200m away being the public undergroundtype. No private parking.
Review 27:The manager Jean-Marc is a very experienced manager of larger hotels who is striking out in his own with this small hotel. He is refurbishing it as he goes along and the quality of stay will only improve. Recommend.
Review 28:Very friendly staff in a much smaller france town then expeted. Nicebreakfast. Good location.
