Review 1：Delightful view from harbourside room, watching the fishing boats going out first thing in the morning. Excellent breakfast, welcoming staff. 10-15 minute walk into St Jean de Luz. Glad we have a small car for the tight parking space!

Review 5：The location is perfect, the rooms have a view on the ocean or on the harbor and it's also nice the view from the breakfast room. From Ciboure every other place (Biarritz, Bayonne, San Sebastian, la Rhune, Espelette....) are easy to reach!

Also outside terrace for use in the better weather. Hotel high up but within easy reach of town, down a flight of steps and along the harbour. Quiet hotel, no fuss. Would like to return, comfortable, homely feel.
Review 9：The actual hotel look far better than what's shown from any websites. The view is breathe taking!! The hotel is locate on a hill..if you are arriving with heavy luggage, you are better off getting there with a taxi. However, the walking distance to Saint-Jean-De-Luz is not far..a decent 10min. nice walk. I love this hotel! It's a gem...

The breakfast is excellent - the best coffee we've had in a French hotel for a long while. We will certainly return in the future.

We were told that we could only check in at 1500. 3. Owners or managers were quite moody. One day they would be in a great mood, the next to sit on the terrace rather than inside for breakfast seemed like a problem. 4. Hotel is located up a number of steps in between St Jean de Luz and Cibure (though there is a nice beach nearby) 5. The lock on hotel room door which was outside the main hotel was very feeble. 6. I would not stay there again. Lack of customer service. Managers quite moody.

Review 58：On my arrival the hotel was closed and no-one available on reception, so I had to sit and wait outside for some time - there was no prior warning that reception was shut at times. No lifts - if you are on the top floor, you will be carrying your luggage up the stairs. Had to make do with cold shower as there were no instructions on how to use the strange plumbing system to obtain hot water (the owner rejected my suggestion that instructions for guests would be a good idea). Breakfast poor value for money. Promised wi-fi was only briefly available.
