Review 1：The only downside was the lack of tea making facilities, though this is common in France and tea could be ordered on room service.
Review 2：The hotel was a five minute walk from the main square. It was right opposite the railway station and at Christmas looked out on an area of carousels and fairy lights. The room was stylish and equipped with a few nice little extras. It was good value for money.
Review 3：It would be nice to have a fridge in the room for cold water. The floor in the bedroom was plastic laminate. There was no towel rail but the bathroom was quite nice.
Review 4：The lady receptionist was lovely. We had a problem with the wifi and she did everything she could to sort it out. She was very friendly.

Review 14：Lovely location opposite the station and just a 5 minute walk to the central squares of Arras. Parking outside the hotel for 4 euros per day and free on Sunday. Staff were lovely and very helpful particularly Laurence.

Review 46：I've stayed here before, 23 years ago. Little has changed, it's still clean and tidy, staff still helpfull. Now with double glazing, it's quieter. Rooms are small but OK.

The hotel is about one hour and a quarter from the Eurotunneland so is a good place to stop either going to or coming back fromFrance. The Moderne is only a short walk from the centre of Arras, atown filled with character around the main squares.
Review 52：Very good location in central Arras, good to catch trains. Staff very good, room was comfortable. Excellent breakfast. Good parking for car. Easy walk to main part of town and resturants etc. All in all very good.
Review 53：Tired rooms, very poor sound proofing, and a lot of noise transmitted from adjacent rooms and also the room above. Also we awoke to the strong smell of cigarette smoke drifting through. Wifi was available, but not in our rooms on the 4th floor, and it was necessary to sit in the foyer to get any reception.

Review 55：Hotel management was said breakfast was from half 7 to half 9. Went down just before 9 and all the breakfast food was put away. If it says half nine it should be half nine not before. Also parking is a bit of a joke and the one way system in the town is really hard to figure out.
