Reviews for Inter-Hotel Clos Sainte-Marie

Review 1:Bathroom was a bit tired, room had no windows, only a door with tiny side vent, so room (1) was dark and a bit dank.

Review 2:Breakfast was fine, room to house bikes, friendly staff who spoke good English, bed was comfortable

Review 3:Fan in bog and bathroom didnt work.

Review 4:Secure car park.

Review 5:Nice large room with a convenient fridge.

Review 6:The quietness of the location and the garden

Review 7:Nothing

Review 8:Lovely hotel, charming staff made us very welcome with good English spoken. Large spotlessly clean room and shower, breakfast was very good.

Review 9:Location was good, but a bit of a hike from the train station. It was great to have a tub, but we would have liked to be able to just take a shower sometimes, rather than sit in the tub.

Review 10:The rooms were larger than the average, with plenty of space for our luggage and us. The style of decoration was more traditional, and a nice change from some more modern and soulless places. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was particularly good. Wi-Fi also good.

Review 11:Quite old, and our room was a bit smelly.

Review 12:The lady running this motel style accommodation was lovely, friendly and helpful. Free parking, good breakfast available. Rooms are functional and well presented.

Review 13:our room was on the front of the hotel and it was a hot summer's evening so we had to have the window open as the hotel does not have air conditioning and it was very noisy and we didn't have a very good night's sleep

Review 14:the staff were very friendly and we only booked about an hour before our arrival but they we ready for us and booked us in very promptly

Review 15:Room allocated did not fit description no access to any garden andnowhere to sit outside ,outside of hotel premises shabby and any basicssuch as car park even hair dryer were all charged as extra

Review 16:Hotel was clean and rooms spacious

Review 17:Nevers was a fantastic place to rest and look around. Our excellent host was wonderfully helpful and friendly. We would come back and recommend to others - THANKS!

Review 18:This was classed as a 3* hotel when in fact it was like a cheap motel. The access to the garden was actually the only door which opened onto a small paved area. Access was via a very narrow driveway to car park. The bathroom was with a v high sided bath with handheld shower. The bathroom was accessed via 3 steps which was difficult.

Review 19:Around 20 minutes to walk to the downtown, but taxies are prompt and cheap

Review 20:Great family owned hotel, very attentive personnel, the upper class rooms have exquisite design, very clean. A real french gourman restaurant is just across the street - uncomparably better than restaurants in the downtown.

Review 21:We booked a room which had a "garden view" . Unfortunately the gardenwas out of sight and the room in which we stayed didn't have a window, although natural light was available through the glass door!

Review 22:Although we had to pay an additional 9.80 euros each for breakfast itwas certainly worth it! The range of choice was excellent

Review 23:On arrival (Sunday evening) we were met by a young girl who knew nothingabout the local facilities, and insisted on speaking in poor Englishwhen our French was quite adequate. We had to find out for ourselveswhat the town had to offer (poor directions) and in fact found aperfectly good cafe for something to eat and drink. The garden of the hotel was uncared for and rather neglected.

Review 24:Good bed, good shower.

Review 25:We liked the room (no.4) which was very quiet and overlooked the hotelgarden. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. It was good to know that the car was in a secure car park.

Review 26:Very hard to find. Not as good in terms of value for money as we wereled to believe

Review 27:Close to Nevers City Centre. Quaint. Character. Friendly staff

Review 28:Dogs may be charged for is not true dogs are charged for. We have neverpaid for our small dog even in hotels who do charge we have not beencharged we where at this hotel. It is only 15 minutes walk to towncenter but not the best part of town, we always eat midday so no troublefor us would not have liked the walk at night.

Review 29:The hotel was well up to standard for the price.
