Reviews for Hotel Bergerie Chatel
Review 1:You get what you pay for so we were not disappointed! But, the property is old and needs a refurb soon. There was only one electrical socket, so charging phones is a bit of a pain as can only do one at a time. WiFi although advertised was impossible to access.
Review 2:Location, friendly staff, good breakfast
Review 3:Hotel owner and all the staff were very welcoming and helpful. Ski bus stopped right outside and the hotel was only a 5 minute walk into the village.
Review 4:My children and i had a very warm welcome on our first day with just enough amenities you would expect from a 2 star hotel. The hotel is in a perfect position with the Ski bus stop in front of the hotel.Very nice croissants and coffee to start the day.My son was taken to hospital on our last ski day after a serious accident on the slopes . Whilst I was back and forth to the hospital the hotel owner was so helpful trying to keep it all together for me . A big THANKYOU to him. I will be back next year.
Review 5:We saw a number of rooms as the staff tried to accommodate our preferences but all of them had issues. The one we chose had an uncomfortable bed and only a hand held shower (no wall fitting) with a half size bath. We were a family of 4 and it was a challenge fitting all of us into the room with all the additional clothing required for a ski holiday. Cleanliness was not good eg. build up of fluff and dust behind radiators.
Review 6:Great position, walking distance to town with numerous shops, bars and restaurants. Ski-bus stops at entrance to hotel. Staff were really helpful.
Review 7:Daniel the owner was really lovely and spoke really good English. He was super helpful with ski hire and where to go and what to do. The hotel is a bit dated but it has everything you need in it and was comfortable. Wifi only works in some rooms but it's not a big deal you can access it downstairs if you need. Location is only 5 min walk from city centre and the super chatel telecable to access the mountain. Daniel was very accomadating. We had lost our charger and he went to great lengths to find another from his staff that we could borrow for our stay.
Review 8:We have booked months in advanced just to be later infrormed that the dates are off-season. However, the manager agreed to host us and opened earlier especially for us. Daniel is a great guy!
Review 9:A little dated but in keeping with marketing and expectations.

Review 16:good location for central Chatel. Ski bus stops right outside. Friendly staff
Review 17:Wifi was poor.
Review 18:Busstop in front of the hotel. The manager keeps some small talk every day.
Review 19:- Rooms should be upgraded - Very limited parking
Review 20:- Near restaurants - Walking distance to Super Chatel lift - Pet friendly
