Résidence Joséphine sells fast on our site. Located in Chatel, Résidence Joséphine offers self-catering apartments with balconies. In winter, guests can go skiing 2,650 feet away, and in summer, they have free access to an outdoor swimming pool, pétanque, tennis and mini-golf facilities.

Review 1：Location could be better... Close proximity to Linga ski area, however, do not underestimate the uphill walk into town! For the more adventurous, it is possible to ski/board back to the accommodation via the powder fields :)

Review 2：Clean, warm and spacious accommodation with above average facilities for a larger group. Ski lockers (with boot warmers) and the on-site sauna were a nice touch! Friendly and welcoming staff who were always happy to help. Recommended :)

Review 3：Claimed to have wifi throughout and didn't. Only place seemed to be a corridor near the ski lockers. Apartments are on bus route C (if no car), which sometimes didn't get to apartments until after 8.30am which made getting to 9am ski lessons difficult if it didn't appear (happened three times during week). You can book mini bus (approx. 16 euro) but need to do this as you get to resort with Also need to get two buses to main ski area (not major issue but worth knowing) Bus stops running at 7.45 after which you either walk (1 km downhill so not that bad) or arrange a taxi (need to pre-book) Need to book restaurants for evenings if larger parties Most restaurants don't deal with English language that well, compared with other resorts. Fully admit this is an issue for people from UK rather than the restaurant staff, but helps if you have someone in group that can speak reasonable french. Quality of food is very good.

Review 4：Good clean room with adequate space for young family of 4. ESF have a very good toddlers camp right next to apartments. Need to book but looked very good and will take children all day. Very relaxed ski area, not overly busy compared with some other resorts and good mix of blue and reds across a range of different lifts. Option to ski a different area each day or more advanced skiers can move between different areas within resort and go into Switzerland and other French ski resorts on the wider area ski pass. Alpaca shuttle very good and local and will do local pick-ups. Very cheap if good numbers.

Review 12：There was a buss stop in front, but the bus didn't pass by very often. The second room was a 'mezzanine' with only two matresses and no bed, where the ceiling was very low (we could not stand upright).

Review 14：It's way smaller then it looks in the photos. The beds were tiny. The service was very slow and limited. Towels cost extra. €8 each!
