Reviews for Suite Home Paris Porte de Châtillon

Review 1:The cover of the toilet loosened but not fixed for 9 days. Though I did not report, the cleaner should have knew it during daily cleaning. Only welcome tea bags without refill though the room rate was the same for all days. Staff was friendly to give us a few bags more when asked. It is hotel policy issue.

Review 2:The cooking facilities were excellent for making simple meals.

Review 3:The room we checked in was not clean, garbage was not clean nor did the towel from the bathroom. Not a good view & far from the city

Review 4:Bed was good...

Review 5:The hotel was very clean and staff very friendly. Special thanks goes to the receptionist who helped me when i was having trouble with the vending machine. She was absolutely wonderful. The place was spotless. Very good value for me.

Review 6:Water pressure in shower was weak and had some difficulties to obtain the correct mixture of hot/cold water

Review 7:The hotel construction/installations are recent

Review 8:The decor was modern and functional while still comfortable. Breakfast was OK but the space was very cramped for large groups. Staff were friendly and helpful. The location was not far from the Metro and everything Paris had to offer, would definitely stay there again.

Review 9:No shower curtain in a bath-shower combo means A LOT of water on the floor you are trying to dismount from. Quite dangerous.

Review 10:Fairly good for the price but obviously nothing spectacular. Good value for money. Bathroom was good and had above average kitchen facilities.

Review 11:It is a culturally-diverse neighborhood, maybe blue-collar in some respects. Some people might not feel comfortable but I found everyone in the neighborhood to be helpful and extremely considerate to me as a traveler who does not speak French.

Review 12:The staff were friendly and helpful, and the area had a large supermarket nearby. It was a straight 5-8 minute walk to the Metro. We made most of our meals but did go out in the area during our stay.

Review 13:kind of far to METRO (10 mins walking).

Review 14:staff and reception are so nice to me, letting me check in early and keep my luggage there. There is a mini kitchen in the room, 10 mins to METRO by walking.

Review 15:Asked for a room with bad but did not get it. 14 euro for a breakfast? Really?

Review 16:Very clean. Comfortable beds. 3 min from grocery store, 5 min. from metro station

Review 17:On the check out day we asked at 04:30pm at the reception for a Taxi to the airport (Arrival Date from Orly we needed 15 minutes to the / 20Euros). Instead of a official Taxi they called somebody who called Kenny who needed 45 minutes to pick us up in the hotel. It was no real Taxi Driver and a private Person. We paid 35 (!!!) Euros and missed our flight. Thanks for the trouble. When you´re trying your under the table business sort out the guests who are reliant to catch a flight and order them a real Taxi. We had to purchase expensive tickets for the next day, missed our jobs on monday and had extra costs for a hotel. Thanks for nothing!

Review 18:location, clean, near metro station

Review 19:Wobbly stool, wobbly toilet seat - stool still wobbly after "repair". Egg boiler not turned on for breakfast on one day and not present on the next day. Kitchen area provided but nowhere to sit and eat.

Review 20:It's a 'budget' hotel, so furniture and amenities are not 'posh' by any means. The card needed to be slot in a flimsy part of the door for the light to be switched on. The carpet was clean but not hoovered freshly. TV was very fuzzy and not really working on all channels (like there was no antenna!)

Review 21:The staff was very welcoming/smiling and obliging. The calm of the hotel was a big plus too (very good bed too).

Review 22:Not a real table and chairs to sit on when you prepare your meal in your studio.

Review 23:Metro on 5 minutes walk Very Clean Friendly Staff Good Breakfast Parking Garage

Review 24:Newby receptionist with extra charges beyond booking.com total payment.

Review 25:The hotel is new. The stuff is very helpfull (except "newby receptionist" which gave us missleading information regarding booking.com aditional charges, that we had to pay). Speak English. Metro in 5 min walking. District is pleasant. (safe)

Review 26:Although I booked a disabled room it was not suitable ! No chair in shower no room to turn chair I used my small push wheelchair had I used my electric one I couldn't have got in the room .the door was so heavy I could not open it let alone use my chair at the same time . A real shame because I would therefore not use the hotel again ! Wich is a shame because the staff were so nice especially Mattias !!!!

Review 27:Very friendly and helpful staff ! Clean and modern .

Review 28:The location is good. Quiet enough for a good night's sleep, and not far from the subway station. Easy access to Paris City centre. Many restaurants and grocery shops nearby. Moderately equipped kitchenette. Fit for purpose. Very helpful staff.

Review 29:I had two rooms in two separate nights, both had some furniture that was a little broken: in the first, one of the legs of the bed and in the second the round chair; the internet connection is really bad, with a very low bandwidth and constant disconnects that requires registering over and over again every time you need to re-connect. The location is not ideal; it is at the end of the metro line; for example, get to and from the airport (CDG) is easy, but it takes forever.

Review 30:The place is new; nice room; nice lighting; working A/C (which is not trivial in Paris); comfortable bed (I had the queen size bed, rather than the two separate beds); good TV; sounds system; I had a room right outside the lift (elevator), but the room was very quiet and I didn't hear the lift or noise from downstairs; some coffee and tea in the room (nice); modern shower; clean. The price is very good for the value.

Review 31:I feel like the stole our mone and took advantage of us that we were tourists. The hotel us far from all the exciting stuff

Review 32:We are Canadians who were on transit. The hotel over charged our credit card and its been a hassle to get the charges reumbursed not happy. Total rip off.

Review 33:Choice if breakfast and the cost . Poor internet reliability

Review 34:We find the hotel overall good . Staff were friendly and helpful . Near the metro and was very clean

Review 35:Soft bed

Review 36:New room

Review 37:Expensive breakfast I would prefer a better soap

Review 38:Very good wifi New furniture Clean

Review 39:Excellent hotel we were so pleased to stay with them defenitely will be coming back again and again I would recommend to everyone

Review 40:Everything was just fine! And the staff was so helpful i recommend this place

Review 41:Staff gave me another quieter room immediately.

Review 42:Friendly staff, great location

Review 43:It's 15 min walking from the station and it's a bit far from Paris zone 1

Review 44:I recommend this hotel

Review 45:Nothing to say..

Review 46:Great location for tennis and staff outstanding. Check out time no stress

Review 47:Jacuzzi was always in use.

Review 48:Secure parking - bigger than pic looks I have a big car no issues. very clean, breakfast included eggs and bacon. quiet.

Review 49:Simple and economic location for the Exhibition centre at Port de Versailles. Walking distance to the terminus for Line 9 of the Metro.

Review 50:No replacement of instant coffee pads

Review 51:Reasonable fast internet

Review 52:Very convenient as there is a large Monoprix near the hotel.

Review 53:Location, room

Review 54:Bed slightly small

Review 55:5 min walk to subway that lead to city easily

Review 56:Nice Clean Hotel, Parking, Good Customer Service And Love The Jaccuzi :)

Review 57:nothing

Review 58:Cleanliness, staff attitude

Review 59:hard to find parking small poor (just one coffee) didnt top up next day toilet cover was falling down

Review 60:staff room bed shower

Review 61:The services rendered randomly

Review 62:Nothing.

Review 63:Staff and location close to Paris.

Review 64:Open shower cause the water splash very where in the bathroom. Should have glass door or shower curtain fitted.

Review 65:Simple breakfast

Review 66:Friendly staff, hotel parking garage, nice room (fairly new)

Review 67:no good restaurant around

Review 68:equiped kitchen suitable bed convenient transpotation

Review 69:It wasn't enough warm in the room.

Review 70:About 10 min walking from the metro station.

Review 71:Confortable bed and bath, usefull kitchen, clean room, helpful personnel.

Review 72:there is nothg which I don't like.

Review 73:service is very good infact excellent.

Review 74:Guiding me how to prepare my visits everyday by giving me maps and the easiest way by metro

Review 75:The TV of one room was broken during several days which was annoying. And the location was poor. It takes nearly 15 minutes from hotel to metro station by walk

Review 76:The staff is quite friendly. Room is comfortable

Review 77:There is no tag in the room to hang it on your room door handel for cleaning or dont distribute . They will open your room while you are sleeping??

Review 78:I like that the hotel is really new .

Review 79:The maid has the bad habit off knocking on your door every morning at about 11 o'clock but the sound proofing works just fine for that too. The only thing that was not perfect in our room was that the bed was making noises (comfortable bed thou) but I don't think all rooms have this type of bed. Tip : When you arrive see the bed first, before staying/paying.

Review 80:This hotel is new, modern, quite nicely decorated, the rooms are larger then most of Paris rooms and with all the facilities you can think off. Really. From sound proofing, air conditioning, safe box, wi-fi, dark curtains for total darkness to fully equipped kitchen. I mean fully : fridge, electric stove, pans, plates, spoons, forks, knifes, wine glasses and more (you'll just need the salt & the food) plus sound system and tv. The fact that the location is not the best is all made fine because of the facilities you get and any way a taxi ride it's about 9 euros and just across the street there there is a bus station and the metro is at 5 minutes walk. Metro will cost you 1,7 euros /one way even if you change "trains"/ person or you can buy for 13 euros 10 tickets that work for metro, rer or any public transportation. More info @ http://parisbytrain.com/tag/paris-metro) p.s. This hotel should have a 9,2 score or more...

Review 81:8-9 mins walk to the montogue metro station, it means good location, quiet and elite area. comfortamble and clean beds and room. you can cook if you want , they put necessary things into the room for this. you can ask the favorite destinations to the ms anca in the reception, she's so helpful.

Review 82:1- The legs of the bed were shakening and creaking. I informed it when I was leaving in the morning. One of the guests said the same thing. When I returned, I noticed that it was not repaired. Neverthless, I said that that will be ok. I advise the hotel managers that they should be fixed firmly. 2- In some days, I stayed in the room until 1300 o'clock. In one those days, a clerk opened the door without knocking it while I was working. Two days later, the same thing happened and I said that "please, do not enter without knocking the door". She excused. I advise the hotel that they should use a signboard "please do not disturb" in one side and in the other side "you can clean my room" as used in many hotels.

Review 83:The hotel was a new one.

Review 84:Automatic wake-up call not functioning.

Review 85:Very quiet and modern property. Clean, comfortable with friendly staff. Breakfast not cheap but of good quality.

Review 86:Just one 'good' restaurant in the neighbourhood (next to the subway stop).

Review 87:We had a studio with double bed (incl. kitchenette); quite a big room with all the necessary (basic) things. Parking underneath the building was very handy, but at €20/ day not so cheap. Easy to reach by car. Located near last stop of subway/ metro nr.4 (Marie de Montrouge), around 15min by subway to city centre (Notre Dame). Appr. 7min walk from hotel to subway. Overall impression: Standard hotel, but good.

Review 88:Had no internet for 4 days and they made no urgency to fix it. Water was off one morning. The furniture in rooms was impractical. Maids come to early in the day (11:00am). The fitted sheet on the bed was made of paper more than cloth. I requested two sheet so could sleep comfortably, we they did comply.

Review 89:the staff was very friendly and helpful. Place was new and clean.
