Reviews for Hotel Résidence
Review 1:Paid for a superior room, but bathroom was poor, very tired looking and mould around the tiles.Had to keep logging on to wi fi.Few restaurants in the town, would have liked to have eaten at hotel but there wasn't a reasonably priced menu for our budget.
Review 2:Pool was very pleasant after a day's walking/sightseeing.
Review 3:Breakfast was a bit weak given the price. Should be included given what is available. Bathroom was pretty worn.
Review 4:Staff was very nice and friendly. The dinner in the patio was great (weather helped of course), but nice feel. Pool was nice, but we did not use it.
Review 5:The wifi was aggravating - constantly logging out and requiring full login info and password each time.
Review 6:Our premium room was wonderful and spacious. Loved the private terrace and large salle de eau. Outdoor dining area facing the pool was very pleasant.
Review 7:The air conditioner was old a bit noisy but at least helped when humid. Wardrobe was old and battered, wifi was free but kept dropping out
Review 8:Nice large room on the front very clean and tidy. Evening food served in the garden was ver good
Review 9:The room, be it the cheapest one in Booking was rather small and the noise of the bathroom is not well insulated.
Review 10:The food was excellent and the people very friendly and helpful.
Review 11:Everything. This was a four night stop on a 6 week road trip around France and we could not have found better accommodation. The staff were so friendly, helpful and cheerful. We dined at the restaurant each night and the food and service were absolutely wonderful. The room was very comfortable and included a fridge and a safe and looked out onto the lovely swimming pool. Electric shutters on the windows ensured privacy. We cannot rate this hotel highly enough and we will certainly be back. FANTASTIC!
Review 12:Having to leave for the onward journey
Review 13:Good location, excellent wide and comfortable bed. Very good food in a refined setting. Had a good nights sleep and continental breakfast next morning. Swimming pool was cool, but that's what you expect in September.
Review 14:Nothing.
Review 15:Everything. The accommodations were excellent, the food was fantastic and the staff were exceptional. This was a pit stop on a road trip but turned out to be a great little location in its own right.
Review 16:On arrival to the hotel the staff were really nice, we were checked in quickly and showed to our room. The room was nice and clean and we had no issues letting our son crawl around the floor, The restaurant was busy and had a lovely atmosphere. We had no time to stop for a dip in the pool however it looked great. If I was ever in this area again I would head to this hotel. Great service and value
Review 17:Liked everything but my advice would be to park on the road rather than use the garage.
Review 18:Lovely little hotel. Think we paid a little extra for a posh room but it was well worth it - good size, nice decor, very quiet with great climate control. The staff are very friendly and the restaurant is great. Nice little pool.
Review 19:Staff very friendly and helpful, room well equipped. Lovely restaurant outside by the pool - served excellent food. Great to come back after a day's sightseeing and relax by the pool. Little gem!
Review 20:Be careful of booking odd numbers. I booked a superior room for 3 and they had it booked for 2. I had to pay extra on the day.
Review 21:Restaurant - food was excellent Outdoor pool Rooms inside the hotel.
Review 22:No pool towels.
Review 23:Relaxed atmosphere Excellent cuisine. Good swimming pool. Friendly helpful staff.
Review 24:Friendly staff, very helpful and lovely quiet room overlooking pool. Food very nice.
Review 25:A bit hard to find.
Review 26:Good breakfast. Pool looked very nice but didn't get a chance to use it. The family room worked well for us
Review 27:Friendly and welcoming. Good menu choice. Great service. Good pool. Highly recommended.
Review 28:rather small rooms
Review 29:nicely decorated
Review 30:Difficult to park
Review 31:Clean, quiet, friendly, great restaurant. Practical room, business station available.
Review 32:The staff. I left the car at the entrance, they parked it, and the next day the car was waiting for me at the entrance. Excellent restaurant
Review 33:Older rooms in need of renovation
Review 34:Good evening meal
Review 35:Rooms were clean, staff excellent and breakfast was a perfect mix to satisfy everyone.
Review 36:Nothing
Review 37:Very welcoming and helpful staff. A lovely family room and relaxing pool. Children age 7 and 10 loved it too.
Review 38:No lift
Review 39:Service and room service excellent design sport facilities and sauna food
Review 40:Car park awkward
Review 41:Food. Staff. Pool
Review 42:They have a restaurant not to be missed.
Review 43:poor wifi signal in room. We had reserved parking (a necessary thing because we were there over the fete de music weekend). The patron parked guests' cars because the entrance to the covered indoor area was narrow and difficult. Only space for 3 cars, parked behind each other. Fortunately we didn't need to go out again in the car!
Review 44:Very friendly, helpful staff. Beautiful room, lovely pool.
Review 45:Noise from coffee machines at breakfast Garage! is poor and full of junk also difficult to access therefore not good value for the money charged
Review 46:Up to date spacious room with own terrace Breakfast good and good value but area for breakfast rather small The one evening meal we had was excellent Pleasant sunny pool
Review 47:The location. Nissan is a very dull largish French village with no redeeming factors! So whilst the hotel is recommended the location isnt!
Review 48:The room - suite like - was very clean and modern with private terrace, though was exception to main hotel, as this was is a new extention. Bathroom was fabulous. Pool looked nice but didnt use it. Nice small gym with sauna available. Staff we met seemed nice. Hotel has semi gourmet restaurant which we didnt use but menu was quite expensive. However they also have a small Italien restaurant nearby which was cheaper and food was good.
Review 49:Too expensive with extra charges for parking and pets!!! Menu expensive and very limited on choice
Review 50:good quality accommodation with excellent bathrooms in the annex
Review 51:Bathroom could do with updating, but the hotel is, overall, to be recommended for anyone passing through for a night or two.
Review 52:Unexpectedly good restaurant, don't be put off by moderately high prices as its good value for quality food. Nice room for the family in old town house, 100 metres from main hotel. Friendly, considerate and helpful staff, even though they are rather hectic.
Review 53:We stayed for the first night of our holiday while we waited for our rental the next day. We had a very early start on the day of arrival and the hotel met all our needs! The location was perfect and easy to find from the airport. The staff were very friendly and helpful and lunch at the poolside in the middle of a sweltering afternoon was just what the doctor ordered! I would strongly recommend this hotel as a stop-gap on a long journey, for a short break to explore the area or as we did waiting for main accommodation! It was very clean the staff were on hand to tend to our every need! Rooms were perfect! TIP: Brush up on your French as staff had little English!
Review 54:We choose this hotel due to its location just outside of Narbonne and its close proximity to the coast. We stayed in the annexe building situated a very short walk from the main hotel; this enjoyed scure under cover parking, we although a bit of a tight squeeze was better than leaving the car on the road and at £10 a day was quite reasonable. The small swimming pool was also a welcome facility. The breakfast is recomended although quite pricey at 11 euros. We can also recomened the pizza restaurant in the village which has a delightful outside eating area at the rear.
Review 55:A beautiful hotel that was a real surprise - we chose it for its location and loved it so much we went back for another night! The rooms are lovely, food is delicious, pool is just the right size and the staff are outstanding!
Review 56:Very good hotel in small town. Swimming pool, large bedrooms if a trifledated. Fantastic food and service at dinner . Convenient for localtourist atractions Canal Du Midi and old Gallic settlement at Esserun.
Review 57:Friendliness, convenient en route, clients received and looked after very well and made to feel importantand at home. Good price-wise. Excellent food, and no problem arriving late for the first night dinner. Very relaxing evening and night after a long day driving.
Review 58:Bad wifi connection. On the night I stayed the hot water tank broke at 4am making a screaming noise and woke everyone in teh hote. Next morningthere was no hot water, although manager was very apologetica nd itcouldn't be helped.
Review 59:Charming hotel with good atmosphere. Nice design decor.Good restaurant, free parking. Pretty garden.
Review 60:Over priced breakfast which we decided not to take as the coffee camefrom a machine and it was a buffet style. We had paid for a room at theback overlooking the pool or the terrace but were shown to a room at thefront on the road side. We complained and our room was changed but wehad to pay an extra supplement for a room with a bath. The bath was veryshort and the grouting of the tiles was showing signs of black mould. Noproper shampoo was provided just a body wash.
Review 61:Convenient location. Excellent restaurant for evening meal.
Review 62:WiFi did not work
Review 63:Super friendly owner of the hotel went out of his way to help us with a flat tyre which was much appreciated and saved us a lot of time and trouble.
Review 64:Excellent Restaurant and service
Review 65:Charming hotel with a lovely courtyard terrace where we ate our meals.
Review 66:The food: We had an excellent dinner! They have a great chef.
