Reviews for B&B Hôtel Paris Malakoff Parc des Expositions

Review 1:The room could do with fresher air , heating and ventilation control should be made to work better and finally more choices in multiple languages with the TV channels

Review 2:I like the location close to metro station and a good wifi

Review 3:It was a cold weather and the heater didn't work; bad smell in the room; no hair-dryer, no soap.

Review 4:The hotel is located in a good neighborhood, very close to the metro station - 5 min walking (Line 13 - Malakoff Plateau de Vanves). The train lines are right next to the hotel but it wasn't a problem with the noise. The room is very small, but good if you are looking for a place to sleep and not to stay too much in the room. The wi-fi is good but we had problems connecting to the network and had to ask reception for help (they fixed the problem).

Review 5:The rooms were discussing! The sing and shower were blocked up and thewalks were black I do not recommend this hotel to anyone, it in no waynear any of the attractions in Paris. There was nothing in the room buta bed. No facility and very bad communication on the hotel betweenFrench and English

Review 6:Leaving the hotel.

Review 7:The rooms are a little small but so is the bill.

Review 8:Great value for money. Easy access to Metro and roads. Parking. Good, "all you can eat" breakfast

Review 9:There isn't enough place to open the suitcases.

Review 10:The location is good because it has got a near tube station entrance which connect with the center of Paris. Breakfast is also good. The beds are really comfortable.

Review 11:No restaurants in neighborhood of hotel Airco not enoughenough for summer To THE Side of noise train lines Bad soft pilows so in THE morning backpain

Review 12:To THE Side of line 13 easy acces to city

Review 13:They put me in the first floor. I though it was a joke! haha Each time a train passed (every 30 seconds) everything in the room shook! I just could stay because it stopped at 1am and I was going to bed after this and I stayed only two days. I do not recommend at all.

Review 14:Breakfast very good and good price (6 euros)

Review 15:1. the rooms smelt of smoke. we asked for another room and that smelt of smoke coming through the ventilation system. 2. too noisy 3. breakfast was: poor selection, cold, coffee machine broke etc. 4. shower blocked with water 5. dirty shower curtain. 6. fixed shower head couldn't adjust height. 7. noisy room.

Review 16:nothing. the stay was disappointing.

Review 17:Although the place was clean in general, I found a small cockroach in my room (there's an extra fee for pets, so I had to kick it out). :D Double windows, yet you can hear some noise from the train line in the morning if your room is facing west.

Review 18:Price, location, breakfast (for 6€ you can't find any better).

Review 19:A bit far from city center. Room is a bit small for 4 people.

Review 20:Nice and clean place. Love the air conditioning in the room and room layout. Food around Malakoff is good and delicious.

Review 21:the bathroom was bad , very rough cleaning of the rooms. We had to ask daily card "do not disturb " because it always disappeared

Review 22:We had a nice stay in the hotel, but wanted the people at the reception a little more active with their guests. Very close to the metro, it's a beautiful place to stay.

Review 23:They squeezed us in for breakfast when there was hardly any food left. So it wasn't value for money.

Review 24:Rooms were clean and functional. Staff were helpful.

Review 25:I was given a smoke room probably because I requested to have the 2rooms together. The other room was smoke free. Since we arrived around10:30pm I did not complaint - just booked this hotel for one night as Ialready had another hotel for 3 nights.

Review 26:Breakfast was very good type of buffet for around 8 euros. We booked 2rooms one for my wife and I and one for our 3 sons just for one night. The room were small but not bothered us since we just spent one nightand for the money it was just fine. Location was like a 10 minuteswalking away from train train station No.3.

Review 27:Spartan furniture

Review 28:It is 2 min away from underground.

Review 29:litterie correcte propreté pas de bruit parking sous l'hotel

Review 30:Very congested room no facilities at room to make tea

Review 31:Very close to metro

Review 32:Good location with cheap price.

Review 33:easy to book a room , staff competent , room small yet well appointed , good location

Review 34:The parking fee is too expensive.

Review 35:Near to the metro line and markets, free wifi

Review 36:Extremely tight bedroom for 4 people. Disappointed overall.

Review 37:Cleanliness, available parking although expensive.

Review 38:Room are bit small.WiFi is pathetic and never connects in room.

Review 39:Location is good, nice staff

Review 40:The egg on the breakfast was disgusting

Review 41:The Cleanliness and confort of the bed

Review 42:rooms very very very small

Review 43:location is very good but rooms is very small , you feel like you are in box .

Review 44:I liked everything about this great place, location, staff, facilities, breakfast. Everything is great. I will be back.

Review 45:Do not fear the winter, the AC is perfect, hot water access too.

Review 46:Malakoff

Review 47:kind staff

Review 48:Location was calm and quite Good price

Review 49:No store or restaurants close

Review 50:Great staff, near to metro, good food and drink machines

Review 51:close to public transport good window isolation so no noise from the road

Review 52:very nice, convenient location, clean, staff attentive, enjoyed my stay very much!!

Review 53:Good value. Good location. Secure underground parking.

Review 54:Less washroom and bed room space

Review 55:Sleeping facility, near metro station, and McDonald.

Review 56:Room was tight, but it's Paris...

Review 57:Very good staff

Review 58:The air conditioner in family room is old and may not working very well.

Review 59:location is close to the metro station.

Review 60:was cheaper on Booking.com than direct, crazy!!!

Review 61:excellent value for breakfast

Review 62:The room comfort, proximity to the metro and the wi-fi is excellent. Highly recommend.

Review 63:Basically the breakfast is o.k. (continental standard) but the scrambled eggs were mushy and not fresh.

Review 64:Location is very close to the next Metro station. Only 5min. to walk!!!

Review 65:No hair dryer available/always in use :)

Review 66:The location is a bit outside of the turistic are so you can enjoy a bit the real parisian way of living. 5min from the hotel every monday, wednesday, friday and sunday there's a market with fruits, vegetables, cheese etc.. with good prices and great atmosphere. Also on saturday there was a flea market with lots of different things, again a lot cheaper than in the centre of Paris! The stuff speaks all the international languages and can give you a lot of tips for what to visit

Review 67:So basic that there was no space for a suitcase in the room. Had to stand in a queue for 15 minutes at breakfast (no laid tables and waiters and such 'luxury' here).

Review 68:Clean, very good bed, good transports.

Review 69:The breakfast was poor -croissants, jam, various breads. The bacon and egg looked awful. We decided against it. The trainline runs right along the back of the hotel and was very noisy. The room was tiny. I expected basic, but it was worse than I thought it would be. About 9ft by 11ft. No wardrobe, just a short rail, no drawers, not tea making facilities. It was adequate, but that was all.

Review 70:The room was clean and we got fresh towels every day. The staff were friendly enough and helpful when we asked anything. Near the tube.

Review 71:- Beds were a little hard, pillows somewhat small. But you can't expect to have it all in this price-range.

Review 72:- WiFi free and available - Price/Quality

Review 73:A good budget hotel within a nice area of Paris. Plenty of bars & resturants near by. A 3 minuite walk to the Metro & tram, with easy excess to central & main train stations.

Review 74:Area is not very exciting, but the nearby metro takes you everywhere!

Review 75:Close to the metro line 13 for entering the city center. Easy parking of your car for a small fee. Friendly staff.

Review 76:lawaai hinder van metro en treinen vlak achter het hotel Lots of noise (EVEN WITH closed windows, unlike other reviews tell you) from train and metro right behind the hotel.

Review 77:Price Location in regards to center of Paris. Car parking. Free wifi.

Review 78:Rooms were smallish but big enough and what you would expect at this price.

Review 79:Most things. Location was excellent and seems good value. Parking was easy and good value also.

Review 80:Rooms are rather small.

Review 81:Place is clean and located right next to the train station. Well priced too, considering that central Paris hotels were going at 5x the rate. For drivers, the hotel provides garage style underground carpark and it's right next to the exit of the ring expressway.

Review 82:Top loft room was HOT whether heat or fan was on or off. Breakfast was so so for having to pay for it.

Review 83:Nice location..AWAY from city..But still accessable by Metro. Room was small...But clean....

Review 84:The staff person who checked us in was very helpful, giving us information on the on-site parking, using the metro, providing a map with detailed directions. She was great! I liked that the hotel was staffed 24-hours so when we returned from the city at midnight, someone was there to check us in. Breakfast had lots of choices and was worth the price. We were also happy to have a parking garage for our car. Loved the proximity to the Metro station. The room was clean and well designed for 3 people (loft for our friend).

Review 85:The bathroom doors dont close from inside. That is actually compromising on the privacy of an individual and the hotel staff say this is how all the rooms in all the B&B hotels are. There are no glasses . The TV is tiny for a triple room and shows only 3 or 4 channels in French . No English Channels for international travellers. The room does not have a telephone to communicate with the reception. The lobby smells of smoke even though they mention it is non smoking. There is no waiting lounge. Only dining chairs and bar stools in front of the reception. Very far from Airport. Metro station is close by. Hotel has a truck with Taxi owners. They fleece tourists as Taxi meter shows 3 times the starting fare even before boarding. The WI-Fi is useless. It is frightfully expensive vis a vis the lack of facilities and the audacity of the hotel staff in justifying them.

Review 86:Nothing

Review 87:Appear to be understaffed at the front desk. Numerous times I had towait to get a question answered. I guess a lot of people stay there!Room is small (17ft x 9ft = 6m x 3m) but I guess it's the same inall of Europe. The loft above is a big help for the triple room.

Review 88:Staff is very helpful and friendly. Good location, near the metro. Priceis reasonable. The triple room has a loft above to add sorely-neededspace. Breakfast has eggs and bacon.

Review 89:The room was very small. The air conditioner was already turned to heat in the whole hotel in spite of hot September (24 degrees). The staff was too official.

Review 90:Good value for money. The hotel is very close to metro station and 20 minutes by metro to Eiffel Tower. The room was clean.

Review 91:Nothing really! Would have been nice to have tea and coffee. Everythinghad an extra charge, but for the money, we'd stay there again

Review 92:Clean! Just a few steps from underground transportation to everywhere incity! Comfortable

Review 93:Some old paint , parts , spots could be re-covered / for a Betterappearence

Review 94:Close to My family, good price, nice staff. For being France lot spacein the room.

Review 95:The man at the front desk was great. He helped with the directions for transportation and internet. To get the internet you need your phone number and sims passcode. I didn't know mine. The breakfast is exactly what you see on the picture and inexpensive. The rooms are really the bare minimum. There is bed, blanket, and some towels. We were just look for a place to spend the night away from the city. The metro is nearby and easy to use.

Review 96:Although we book a non-smoking room the initial room we got had an unstandable smoke smell. We were moved to a different room and everything worked perfect

Review 97:Convenient location when traveling thru the Orly airport. Breakfast was good value for money.

Review 98:No real complaints but it has an unpersonal and noisy ambience. Don't expect to relax in these hotels. The B&B hotel concept can be compared to what IKEA does for furniture: cheap and sufficient quality. All is strictly organized: breakfast until 10am means no more cheese on 10:01.

Review 99:The location was nice: close to the metro station in which you can be in the center of Paris within 10-15 minutes. Breakfast was of a good quality for the cheap price you're paying (children pay 2.65 EUR!).

Review 100:The personal is making mistakes and after that they are saying - sorry, i can't fix it!!! My option was for a non-smoking room but the smel of smoke was all over the place

Review 101:Our room's bathroom had a very unpleasant sewer smell coming out ofthe sink. Staff is not very friendly. They also tried to charge us withthe breakfast costs although in the internet reservation I had specifiedthat we did not want to have breakfast. When we asked for an extra bedblanket for the night the guy at the reception desk told us that ourrequest was impossible to satisfy.

Review 102:Good position, metro station is close.

Review 103:地理位置在巴黎地铁二区边界,到卢浮宫30min左右,比较方便。楼下有停车场,房间也干净舒适。早餐虽然没有英式早餐好,但也有鸡蛋、面包,酸奶。

Review 104:Good location. Price ok for Paris. Clean and quiet.

Review 105:limited selection in the vending machines for food/drinks.

Review 106:The location close to the Metro.

Review 107:The room was very small and not very clean. There were stains in the carptet.

Review 108:Locaation

Review 109:good place in zone 2em of paris

Review 110:no kettle in the room

Review 111:good location an equipped toilet

Review 112:The room is too small. We had no where to put the suitcase. Ventilation is poor. The room was too hot and no air.

Review 113:Close to metro station.

Review 114:stuff not talking English

Review 115:clean and modern

Review 116:a great little hotel - breakfast catered for everyone's tastes.

Review 117:small rooms ,limited breakfast away from metro station

Review 118:Great location. Friendly staff. For the price the breakfast is a great value. Super clean!!

Review 119:Breakfast is always the same and limited in choices

Review 120:I liked everything

Review 121:Very friendly staff. Clean rooms. Good location. good price

Review 122:I had to request several times a repair in the bathroom. Finally they did it after 3 days ! It's not normal for a room at 117 € per night.
