Reviews for Qualys - Hotel Nanterre - Paris la Défense

Review 1:The breakfast is really overpriced, definitely not worth 16euro

Review 2:Perfectly placed for me, just round the corner from Shell. Good, very helpful receptionists. Comfortable room & bed.

Review 3:- Breakfast at 16 euro's is steep. However, there is some negotiation room here.. - wifi at 20 euros per day is a joke. - There is a busy neighbourhood market right in front of the hotel on Saturday morning. Although the market itself is very charming and fun to walk around, the noise (starting at 600 AM) and complete traffic chaos (vans from the market stalls blocking the road and exits of the hotel incidentally) are less fun if you need to leave the hotel by car.

Review 4:- location (200m) near direct subway connection (10 mins) to Paris Centre/plc. Charles de Gaulle. You should not choose this hotel however for the direct surroundings. - clean, spacious rooms, relatively modern - inhouse parking, although with tight turns - Member of staff Mohammed goes out of his way to make you feel comfortable and help you find you way in Paris. Unfortunately his colleagues are the complete opposite: disinterested, and not very helpful - Hotel's own restaurant is open sporadically but a 10 mins walk into Nanterre-centre will give you plenty of good restaurants

Review 5:Breakfast costs 16 EUR per person, what is expensive for the provided assortment of food.

Review 6:Rather stylish and modern hotel, cozy rooms and good location. Close to the underground.

Review 7:The WIFI in this hotel was hardly working during my stay. The connection broke daily, or wasn't available at all. Futhermore I had to renew the login data and password 4 times (though the first login was supposed to endure 5 days). Other guests had the same problem. Nonetheless I was charged 15€ per day for this 'service' that costed me a lot of time in the end.

Review 8:The breakfast was appalling the bar was a joke no one to serve we was locked out for 15 mins at 11.50 in evening no one to answer door. Staff English very poor.would not recommend this hotel to ny one in a very rough area of France .

Review 9:being charged twice for breakfasts that were already included with my booking, then when asked about it being refunded was fobbed off in french,

Review 10:The hotel was very nice and clean would have been nice to get something to eat in the evenings or have kettle in your room to make yourself a hot drink

Review 11:In a rather run-down area with no local facilities - cafes, restaurantsetc - to speak of.

Review 12:Rooms are decent size, well fitted-out and clean. 5 minute walk to therer station with fast access to the centre of Paris, for a fare of 2.10Euros Lower price for the type of hotel because it's further outfrom the city centre, though it's still fairly pricey Secure privateparking for 10 Euros per day

Review 13:Not warm or friendly welcome at check in. White towels seemed old and did not feel fresh and clean, one was even badly stained. No tea / coffee facilities in room. Fridge / mini-bar was empty. End of corridoor room next to a "private" room from which there was some rumbling / machinery noise.

Review 14:Uunderground car parking was secure and available. At check out the receptionist was helpful (to a degree) with boat tour - BatoBus enquiry. Room was big enough with wall-mounted flatscreen TV Small fridge in room. Air con worked and not noisey.

Review 15:Restaurant not open Breakfast poor (milk not cold, breads and Croissants not particularly fresh.

Review 16:Location close for Train into Paris, Nicely decorated and clean. staff were friendly

Review 17:The TV only but vary POORLY receives one English speaking program! Why is the TV mounted high up on a wall and why is there NO comfortable arm chair in the room?

Review 18:Good location for my client visit. This is the main reason of choice. The in-house restaurant is good and well priced. They have a GREAT cheese selection.

Review 19:Wifi & TV

Review 20:Mohamed , the reception guy

Review 21:The staff is very kind.

Review 22:Loved the location, I would definitely go back to have such a handy RER. Staff friendly and helpful and very good value.

Review 23:Unfortunately there was no water boiler available. At this price level this should be included.

Review 24:Spacious parking lot, good sleeping comfort without any noise and good personnel.

Review 25:The professional, friendly, helpful nature of the staff. They were accommodating of our needs, particularly with a toddler of two years old. We appreciated being given the hot water and milk we needed.

Review 26:Too expensive breakfast, for 4 people I should have payed 64 euro's, inMc Donalds we had a breakfast voor 14 euro's, for the four of us. . .

Review 27:Easy to book, good price for the rooms

Review 28:A lorry came by every morning at around 4/5am and stay outside the hotelfor 15-20 min the engine makes a loud vibrating noise which woke me upevery time but not the hotel faulta few small things shower was very loose on the wall very hard to have a shower Shower Curtin needed fixing it had been broken on the eye holes so it hanged down in the bath getting in the way while taking a shower Fan in the bathroom stayed on all night no way of turning it off (I tried everything to turn it off) Plus I left my clothes on a chair in the room came back to the room in the evening to find my clothes had been chuck by the cleaner on another chair not put chucked which made the all creased The door to my room was very hard to open as the door closer was very stiff which made the door hard to move

Review 29:Great front of house/bar restaurant Staff/good clean rooms/great food

Review 30:The street was very loud during night. The triplet rooms are very small. Perhaps the rooms to the court are more quiet. Breakfast is expensive. There is no Salon de Thé near by, where you could have breakfast outside the hotel. However it is also nice to have breakfast in the city center.

Review 31:The hotel is only 100m away from the next RER station. Using the RER you reach the city center in 15 minutes. The hotel's parking deck is big and comfortable. The rooms are clean. The front desk was very friendly. The room was cheap.

Review 32:The hotel staffs were very nice. The hotel rooms were also good and clean. Room equipments were enough and the shower was very nice. We had very good time at this hotel!

Review 33:This hotel is pretty run down. My room had an odor that I couldn't place and it definitely wasn't super clean. Moreover, the neighborhood was downright scary. The police stopped me and cautioned me about pick pockets.

Review 34:It was close to the RER line. Underground parking.

Review 35:Very helpful and friendly staff esp Damien. Decent hotel rooms. Good location close to the metro. Was apprehensive about the neighborhood a bit but not problems whatsoever.

Review 36:Air conditioning didn't work. If windows are open the traffic noise is quite bad all night. Reception staff were very helpful and polite. We stayed due to working in Paris. This hotel is ideal for this, if you are sight seeing then the train is convenient but central Paris is not on your doorstep, then hence the price.

Review 37:Convenient to drive into Paris. Local town is pleasant and railway is very close which is easy to get into Paris.

Review 38:only one lift working while I was staying there

Review 39:just across the road from the RER station with direct line right into the centre of Paris

Review 40:Poor for a 4*...room and hotel facilities quite limited. Double glazing was poor...noisy outside Small lifts.

Review 41:Location is close to RER station.

Review 42:not worth for the money

Review 43:Impossible to connect two different devices on the Wifi

Review 44:The location: close to RER railway

Review 45:Rooms are little old.

Review 46:Very friendly personnel.

Review 47:More English language channels on TV would have been appreciated

Review 48:Good size room, good location and good parking

Review 49:The staff were very friendly and able to speak English which was very important as I do not speak French.

Review 50:Breakfast is raather expensive.

Review 51:Very helpful and efficient staff.

Review 52:Friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable rooms.

Review 53:Too expensive for what it is and where it is located.

Review 54:Practical in terms of location, for my purpose.

Review 55:The staff is really unhelpful and unfriendly...

Review 56:Decent hotel for it's price

Review 57:Restaurant was often closed.

Review 58:Very close to the metro. Reasonable price and rooms.

Review 59:Selection of food at the buffet is very small for € 16 per Person

Review 60:Next rer Station is very close. Easily to reach to the city.
