Review 1：Room was very hot so we had to have balcony door open all night. The double bed itself was very small in width for two adults. The evening meal we had wasn't very good sadly (over cooked) and the pool was very cold.
Review 2：Great views. Friendly staff. Probably great budget place in the skiing season but not for a summer break. However, it was inexpensive.

Review 17：Friendly staff, very helpful and available. Clean room, good food, very nice location. We loved the free shuttle, bus stop less than one minute away walking from Arc-en-Ciel, awesome. Easy access to the slopes. Rental of equipment on the ground floor, experienced staff providing great advice and info on things to do around. We very much enjoyed our stay and recommend this hotel. Hoping to go back in a near future...
Review 18：Chatel is a little too far to walk in ski boots but the free bus comes every 20 mins which is excellent. Only disappointment was that it said half board would include a 4 course meal when infact it was only 3.

Review 21：Arc en Ciel boasts 'simple' rooms, and this is true, but they have everything you need, and are very clean, cosy and relaxing. Gorgeous views, ample facilities, friendly staff, gorgeous food and ideally situated for easy access up to the slopes. Chatel itself has some lovely shops, bars, restaurants and is very authentic and pretty, and bigger than I expected. The atmosphere is very nice in the village, and in the hotel. The slopes are ample for a weekend, and for only an extra 10 euros or so you can venture right across the portes du soleil which is massive. Highly recommend the hotel, simple but ample, and very pretty.

Review 24：The rooms were extremely comfortable and decorated beautifully. Fantastic local cuisine and the local bus to town and Pre la Joux right on the doorstep. The Barbossine lift is next door, this links to Super Chatel. What more could you want?. ...........well, except snow!!!
Review 25：One thing, that unfortunately (or fortunately) did not depend on theowner of the hotel - the swimming pool was rather cold and we couldnot use it. However, this winter was too cold and we stayed during thecoldest period of time. So, it's understandible. Distance to the downtown is more than 900m, however with the free of charge buses thatcome every 5-7 minutes and stop right infront of the hotel, this wasnot an issue, probably even more an advantage since it was nice andquiet all the time.

Review 29：Immediately Arc en Ciel staff were warm, friendly and efficient. The hotel itself was beutifully decorated, comfortable, warm and had beautiful views of the mountains. The rooms were spotless, beautifully decorated and the bathrooms immaculately clean. The evening meals were excellent, they provided a lovely local wine list and the staff made our family a part of the hotel family. The hotel bar was lively with great music and a nice atmosphere. The pool, sauna and hot tub were an excellent addition to the hotel and provided much amusement for the kids and adults alike.
