Review 1：The bright red carpet in the bedrooms is not to everyone's taste!

Review 2：Free travel pass compensates for out of town location. Great views of the Chamonix valley and mountains. Breakfast was particularly good. Spa facilities are very good.

Review 3：Breakfast is overpriced with not much selection (15 euro) is a bit pricey! The 'spa' was not as we expected, we went 11 in the morning and neither sauna or steam room were really hot. Dissappointing as we booked for the use of the spa, accepting this was a little further out of town. 5k out of Chamonix- they offer a shuttle. But taxi home cost us 28 Euro...

Review 5：- rooms a bit too small - too much heat in the room dries up air; not possible to regulate the heater - personal care amenities (shampoo etc.) not replenished by the cleaning staff - had to go and repeatedly ask for it at the reception - location. It's too far from the city to walk. Didn't see much of the public transport. Perfectly fine with the car though

Review 15：- The hotel is pretty far from Chamonix. We asked the receptionist if we can walk to Chamonix and he said yes. It was an 1hour walk!!! - The WiFi was not working in one of the rooms. - The external pool was closes but this information was nowhere to be found on the website of the hotel. We only booked there for this reason and it was a huge disappointment. We asked for a discount, but didn´t get any. - In the rooms it was extremely warm even after we completely closed the heating. - The price/quality ratio is simply were bad.

Review 17：The only reason for my not-the-best rating is the restaurant. The meals are great but the service there is a disaster. The restaurant is understaffed, so it may take 15 minutes sitting before the order is taken, and next 20 minutes before the ordered drinks arrive, not to mention the meals. One day there were no hot meals for breakfast, another day almost all of tables were covered with dirty dishes, with nobody caring to clean them.

Review 18：Almost everything. Brand new building, exceptionally clean; excellent room with a great view; perfect spa. Enthusiastic and efficient personal in the spa, many thanks! Note you need a car to get anywhere from the hotel, but this is obvious from the map, we had a car and were quite happy with the location.

Review 22：I had run the ultra-trail mont blanc and had some serious heatstroke issues after the race so had to stay the night in hospital. My parents went to the hotel to say I wouldn't be staying the night and the person on the reception agreed I wouldn't be charged for that night. Then when checking out they charged me the full night saying that this person wasn't authorized to say this. The manageress was a very officious individual and handled the situation quite badly. Maybe they could have met me half way.

Review 29：Excellent hotel, we stayed for one night and were upgraded to a wonderful room with balcony and view of Mont Blanc due to a slight delay on registration. The hotel decor was excellent and all staff were very helpful and pleasant. Loved our stay and would highly recommend, lovely peaceful location with free parking and free train transport into Chamonix, I would definitely go back!!

Review 30：We booked 2 rooms one of which was supposed to be a family room with bunk beds for the children.It did not exist and we had to pay an extra 90Euros for an extra room.Management said you had made an error in your description of beds in the room.Should they have checked your description of the room was correct?And who should have paid extra to resolve the issue? [The family room had 2 double beds-not suitable for one male and one female child.Hence our wish for the expected bunk beds.]

Review 32：A newly renovated hotel with very helpful and friendly staff who made us feel at home throughout our stay. The breakfast was excellent and regularly replenished with freshly baked bread and pastries. We stayed on a half-board basis which was good value and adjusted according to taste - I don't eat salad so mine was replaced with a meat platter every night! Despite the hotel being full, we didn't hear a sound in the room, which had an amazing view of Mont Blanc. The hotel is located around 3 miles out of Chamonix, perfect for hiking up to the glaciers and with free bus/train travel into town (and the Chamonix valley) with a card available from reception. I'd definitely stay here again.

Review 34：1. Some of the stuff are not good. The guy, who was at the reception, when we checked out, tried to do everything in parallel - calling on the phone, talking to several customers and so on.. In the end, he could not help anybody, had a lost look and it took over 15 min to just check out of the hotel with no line at the reception. In a situation when we were there for just a short stay and had to have breakfast elsewhere (because 17 euros per person in the hotel we found ridiculously expensive) it was really annoying to have such a slow service. 2. Pre-booking system makes you pay the higher price quite often, especially because of the pre-charged 30% and only allowed free cancellation something like a month before. We payed for this hotel about 120 Euros per night and were far away from the centre of Chamonix, while on that rainy day we could have stayed in nice places in the centre for under 90. 3.Spa center is not finished and lacks many small things, like hangers for towels , places to put glasses and so on. Besides that, sauna is really really small. Max 3 people fit in dry sauna comfortably and the hotel has over 50 rooms, from what I understood. Quiet room has only 4 places, jacuzzi is really nice, but also fits comfortably no more than 3 people. It could be actually all acceptable if we did not see how much cheaper were the hotels in the centre on the same day and also including spa centres.

Review 35：We came on a very rainy day and therefore, we got to enjoy the sauna and the very good bed (very good bed!). Some of the stuff is good and fast - the girl on the arrival, for instance, immediately called somebody to carry our luggages since the lift did not work. The next the lift was fixed as well.

Review 36：The hotel was nice but the bathroom window is cracked room 22 and it was transparent not good because the house opposite could see right through and the hottub wasn't working which was disappointing because it rained that evening.

Review 44：The hotel was under renovation and some things were not working proprly :the night we arrived the elevator was not functional and we had to go up the stairs with heavy luggage.I have to say however that the reception people helped us carry the stuff.In my kids room the heating was on and it could not be turned off.the staff told them to leave window open.it was still very hot!the hot water did not work in our bathroom the first night but they fixed it after we complained .I think the place has potential after they take care of the important details.The hotel is very clean as it is practically brand new . The location is also an issue :they are outside Chamonix we had to drive a while to get to downtown Chamonix but I guess the price was ok .No breakfast included.

Review 49：Information about the hotel is completely misrepresented. I picked the property based on the Spa facilities, internet access and the swimming pool and it was a trade- off of being 2 train stops away from Chamonix. 2 days before the check-in I received an email that the spa opens on the next day after my departure. Wifi quality was very poor - I needed a regular connection to a web-cam in a specific location while I am away. Breakfast is poor for someone who has a day of hiking ahead. When I told about the wifi and the spa at the reception the lady kept smiling at me saying "that is true". The holiday in the mountains was great but the hotel stay, the way they run their business and the attitude towards the clients is utter disappointment.

Review 50：The swimming pool is very nice although is literally 1 m away from the car park and full of kids screaming "lets play the game who will be the first to pee in the pool". The rooms are very clean.

Review 51：Staff are overwhelmed and things don't get done. Had no bread, pastries or juice at breakfast for over half an hour then one small loaf appeared, took an hour to get first course delivered at dinner, another hour for second course, three hours total for simple meal. Rooms not cleaned or made up one day.

For example: room 22 has large clear window in bathroom but no blind, so exposed to view of people in adjoining property. Kettle and coffee in rooms but no cups, no batteries in clock or safe so neither work.
