Hotel La Roseraie sells fast on our site. This mountain-style hotel is 1000 ft from the center of Villard de Lans village, in a quiet location, facing South with a magnificent view of the mountains of the Vercors regional national park.
The 24 bedrooms are all equipped with shower, massage shower or bathtub, hair-dryer, luxury bed sheets and South-facing balcony. The rooms can be accessed by elevator and you can enjoy a relaxing moment in the hotel sauna as well as on the grounds or on the terrace.
A brand-new restaurant is open at the hotel in 2008. The cuisine we offer for lunch and dinner (upon reservation only) mainly is based on local produce and can be served on the grounds during summer. During winter holidays and school vacations, a fast food restaurant service is available with a 2-course dinner (main dish + desert) in time for your evening outings such as ice hockey games, movies, bowling alley, etc.

Review 1：Breakfest was quite expensive
Review 2：Nice and comfortable hotel, I had a pleasent room with view on the montains. Hotel staff was very friendly and professional. The place is near the town center and is a convenient departure point for hiking in Vercors.
Review 3：The owners are very friendly and welcoming and gave us some good walking and driving routes for the local area and were happy to explain local history and recommend places to visit. The restaurant is very good and on warm evenings it is lovely eating on the terrace watching the mountains gradually reflect the colour of the setting sun.

Review 5：The staff were welcoming and friendly and made good suggestions for visits. The room was well appointed, with a hospitality tray too which was appreciated. Only a few minutes walk from the town centre. It has a very pretty and well tended garden in which to relax. The entire property is obviously very well loved and tended. A special mention for the excellent restaurant. This will be our "go to" hotel in the Vercors.
Review 6：As we only stayed one night I found that check in (3.30pm) was too late and check out (10.30am) was too early.

Review 8：We had planned to stay one night only as we passed through Villard. But, we were so impressed with the hotel and location that we stayed on for two more nights. Will defintely come back to this hotel

Review 11：We were prepared to pay a little more to get a hotel with a good restaurant; however, theirs was closed the whole week. This was certainly not made clear at time of booking. Also, the small bar was closed most of the time. While the rooms were clean and well equipped, there was only a thin fabric folding door separating the room from the toilet/shower. Hence we thought the cost was excessive considering the lack of facilities.
Review 12：The welcome was very warm and we found the staff helpful and informative. The location was ideal with only a short walk up to the Centre of the town. The room was well equipped if a little small but with probably the best bed we have ever encountered on our travels.
